1A mild answer breaketh wrath: but a harsh word stirreth up fury.
1ဖြည်းညှင်း သော စကား သည် စိတ် ကိုဖြေ တတ် ၏။ ကြမ်းတမ်း သောစကား မူကား ၊ အမျက် ကို နှိုးဆော် တတ်၏။
2The tongue of the wise adorneth knowledge: but the mouth of fools bubbleth out folly.
2ပညာရှိ သောသူ ၏လျှာ သည်ပညာ အတတ်ကို တင့်တယ် စေတတ်၏။ မိုက် သောသူတို့၏ နှုတ် မူကား ၊ မိုက် သောအရာကို သွန်းလောင်း တတ်၏။
3The eyes of the Lord in every place behold the good and the evil.
3ထာဝရဘုရား ၏မျက်စိ တော်သည် ခပ်သိမ်း သောအရပ် ၌ ရှိ၍၊ ကောင်း မကောင်း ကို ကြည့်ရှု တော်မူ၏။
4A peaceable tongue is a tree of life: but that which is immoderate, shall crush the spirit.
4ဖြည်းညှင်း သောလျှာ သည် အသက် ဖြစ်၏။ ကြမ်းတမ်း သော လျှာ မူကား စိတ် နာ စေတတ်၏။
5A fool laugheth at the instruction of his father: but he that regardeth reproofs shall become prudent. In abundant justice there is the greatest strength: but the devices of the wicked shall be rooted out.
5မိုက် သောသူသည် အဘ သွန်သင် ခြင်းကို မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုတတ်၏။ ဆုံးမ သော စကားကို နားထောင် သော သူမူကား ၊ သမ္မာ သတိနှင့်ပြည့်စုံတတ်၏။
6The house of the just is very much strength: and in the fruits of the wicked is trouble.
6ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူ၏ အိမ် ၌များစွာ သော စည်းစိမ် ရှိ၏။ မ တရားသော သူခံရသောအခွန် မူကား ၊ များစွာသော နှောင့်ရှက် ခြင်းနှင့်ယှဉ်၏။
7The lips of the wise shall disperse knowledge: the heart of fools shall be unlike.
7ပညာရှိ သောသူ ၏နှုတ်ခမ်း တို့သည် ပညာ အတတ်ကို စွန့်ကြဲ တတ်၏။ မိုက် သောသူ၏ နှလုံး မူကား ပညာမ ရှိ။
8The victims of the wicked are abominable to the Lord: the vows of the just are acceptable.
8မ တရားသောသူ ပူဇော်သောယဇ် ကို ထာဝရဘုရား စက်ဆုပ် ရွံ့ရှာတော်မူ၏။ သဘော ဖြောင့်သောသူ ဆုတောင်းသော ပဌနာ ကိုကား ၊ နှစ်သက် တော်မူ၏။
9The way of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: he that followeth justice is beloved by him.
9မ တရားသော သူလိုက်သောလမ်း ကို ထာဝရဘုရား စက်ဆုပ် ရွံရှာတော်မူ၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ် ခြင်း တရား လမ်းသို့ လိုက် သောသူကိုကား ချစ် တော်မူ၏။
10Instruction is grievous to him that forsaketh the way of life: he that hateth reproof shall die.
10လမ်း လွှဲ သောသူသည် ဆုံးမ သောစကားကို နား မခံလို။ သို့သော်လည်း၊ အပြစ်တင် ခြင်းကို မုန်း သောသူသည် သေ ရမည်။
11Hell and destruction are before the Lord: how much more the hearts of the children of men?
11မရဏာ နိုင်ငံနှင့် အဗဒ္ဒုန် နိုင်ငံသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့ တော်၌ ထင်ရှား၏။ ထိုမျှမက၊ လူ သားတို့၏ နှလုံး သည် သာ၍ ထင်ရှား ၏။
12A corrupt man loveth not one that reproveth him: nor will he go to the wise.
12မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုသောသူသည် အပြစ် ပြသောသူ ကို မ ချစ် တတ်။ ပညာရှိ ထံသို့ မ ချဉ်းကပ် တတ်။
13A glad heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by grief of mind the spirit is cast down.
13ရွှင်လန်းသော စိတ် နှလုံးသည် ချို သောမျက်နှာ ကို ဖြစ်စေတတ်၏။ ညှိုးငယ် ခြင်းအားဖြင့် ကား ၊ စိတ် ပျက် တတ်၏။
14The heart of the wise seeketh instruction: and the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.
14ဉာဏ် ကောင်းသောသူ၏ စိတ် နှလုံးသည် ပညာ အတတ်ကို ရှာ တတ်၏။ မိုက် သောသူတို့၏ နှုတ် မူကား ၊ မိုက် ခြင်းကို ကျက်စား တတ်၏။
15All the days of the poor are evil: a secure mind is like a continual feast.
15ဆင်းရဲ ငြိုငြင်သောသူ၏ နေ့ရက် ရှိသမျှ တို့သည် ဆိုးယုတ် ကြ၏။ ရွှင်လန်း သောစိတ် နှလုံးမူကား ၊ အစဉ် အမြဲခံရသောပွဲ ဖြစ်၏။
16Better is a little with the fear of the Lord, than great treasures without content,
16နှောင့်ရှက် ခြင်းနှင့် ယှဉ်၍ ကြီးစွာ သော စည်းစိမ်ထက် ထာဝရဘုရား ကိုကြောက်ရွံ့ ခြင်းနှင့် ယှဉ် သောဥစ္စာ အနည်းငယ် သည် သာ၍ ကောင်း ၏။
17It is better to be invited to herbs with love, than to a fatted calf with hatred.
17ဆူ အောင်ကျွေးသော နွား တကောင်လုံးကို အချင်းချင်း အငြိုး ထားသောစိတ်နှင့် စားရသည်ထက်၊ ချစ် ခြင်းမေတ္တာပါသော ဟင်းရွက် တနပ်စာ သည်သာ၍ ကောင်း ၏။
18A passionate man stirreth up strifes: he that is patient appeaseth those that are stirred up.
18မာန ကြီးသောသူ သည် ရန် ကိုနှိုးဆော် တတ်၏။ သည်းခံ နိုင်သော သူမူကား ငြိမ်း တတ်၏။
19The way of the slothful is as a hedge of thorns; the way of the just is without offence.
19ပျင်းရိ သောသူသွားရာ လမ်း ၌ ဆူး ပင်ဆီး ကာ လျက် ရှိ၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူ သွား ရာလမ်းမူကား ၊ မို့ မောက်လျက်ရှိ၏။
20A wise son maketh a father joyful: but the foolish man despiseth his mother.
20ပညာရှိ သောသား သည်အဘ ဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်း အကြောင်းဖြစ်၏။ မိုက် သောသား မူကား ၊ မိမိ အမိ ကို မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုတတ်၏။
21Folly is joy to the fool: and the wise man maketh straight his steps.
21ဉာဏ် မ ရှိသောသူသည် မိုက် ခြင်း၌ ပျော်မွေ့ တတ်၏။ ဉာဏ် ရှိသောသူ မူကား ၊ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောအကျင့် ကို ကျင့် တတ်၏။
22Designs are brought to nothing where there is no counsel: but where there are many counsellors, they are established.
22တိုင်ပင် ခြင်းမ ရှိလျှင် အကြံ ပျက် တတ်၏။ တိုင်ပင် သော သူများ လျှင် မူကား ၊ အကြံ တည်တတ်၏။
23A man rejoiceth in the sentence of his mouth: and a word in due time is best.
23လူ သည်ပြန်ပြော သောစကား အားဖြင့် ဝမ်းမြောက် စရာအကြောင်းရှိ၏။ အချိန်တန် ၍ ပြောသော စကား သည်လည်း အလွန် လျောက်ပတ် ပေ၏။
24The path of life is above for the wise, that he may decline from the lowest hell.
24ပညာရှိ သော သူလိုက်ရာ အသက် လမ်း သည် အောက် အရပ်၊ မရဏာ နိုင်ငံမှ လွှဲရှောင် ၍၊ အထက် သို့ ပို့ဆောင်တတ်၏။
25The Lord will destroy the house of the proud: and will strengthen the borders of the widow.
25မာန ထောင်လွှားသောသူ ၏အိမ် ကို ထာဝရဘုရား ဖျက်ဆီး တော်မူမည်။ မုတ်ဆိုးမ နေရာ အရပ်ကို ကား ၊ တည် စေတော်မူမည်။
26Evil thoughts are an abomination to the Lord: and pure words most beautiful shall be confirmed by him.
26မ တရားသောသူ၏ အကြံအစည် တို့ကို ထာဝရဘုရား စက်ဆုပ် ရွံရှာတော်မူ၏။ စင်ကြယ် သောသူ၏ စကား တို့ကိုကား ၊ နှစ်သက် တော်မူ၏။
27He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house: but he that hateth bribes shall live. By mercy and faith sins are purged away: and by the fear of the Lord every one declineth from evil.
27မ တရားသော စီးပွါးကို ရှာ သောသူသည် မိမိ အိမ်သား တို့ကို နှောင့်ရှက် တတ်၏။ တံစိုး ကိုရွံ သောသူမူကား အသက် ချမ်းသာရလိမ့်မည်။
28The mind of the just studieth obedience: the mouth of the wicked over floweth with evils.
28ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူသည် အဘယ်သို့ပြန်ပြော ရမည်ကို စိတ် နှလုံးထဲမှာ ဆင်ခြင် တတ်၏။ မ တရားသောသူ ၏နှုတ် မူကား ၊ မ ကောင်းသောအရာတို့ကို သွန်းလောင်း တတ်၏။
29The Lord is far from the wicked: and he will hear the prayers of the just.
29ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မ တရားသောသူတို့ နှင့် ဝေး တော်မူ၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူ၏ ပဌနာ စကားကို ကား နားထောင် တော်မူ၏။
30The light of the eyes rejoiceth the soul: a good name maketh the bones fat.
30မျက်စိ အလင်း သည် နှလုံး ကို ရွှင်လန်း စေတတ် ၏။ ကောင်း သော သိတင်း စကားသည်လည်း၊ အရိုး တို့ကို ခြင်ဆီနှင့်ပြည့်ဝ စေတတ်၏။
31The ear that heareth the reproofs of life, shall abide in the midst of the wise.
31အသက် နှင့်ယှဉ်သောဆုံးမ ခြင်းစကားကို နားထောင် သောသူသည် ပညာရှိ တို့နှင့် ပေါင်းဘော် ရသောအခွင့်ရှိ၏။
32He that rejecteth instruction, despiseth his own soul: but he that yieldeth to reproof possesseth understanding.
32ဆုံးမ ခြင်းစကားကို ပယ် သောသူသည်မိမိ အသက် ဝိညာဉ်ကို မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုရာသို့ ရောက်၏။ နားထောင် သော သူမူကား ၊ ဉာဏ် ကိုရ တတ်၏။
33The fear of the Lord is the lesson of wisdom: and humility goeth before glory.
33ထာဝရဘုရား ကိုကြောက်ရွံ့ သော သဘောသည် ပညာ ကိုသွန်သင် ခြင်းဖြစ်၏။ ဂုဏ် အသရေအရင်၌ နှိမ့်ချ ခြင်း၏ နေရာရှိ၏။
