1And the people marched from Haseroth, and pitched their tents in the desert of Pharan.
1တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မောရှေ အား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊
2And there the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
2ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့အား ငါ ပေး သော ခါနာန် ပြည် ကို စူးစမ်း စေခြင်းငှါ၊ အမျိုးအနွယ် အသီးအသီး ထဲက အဆွေအမျိုး သူကြီး ဖြစ်သောသူ တမျိုး တယောက်စီ ရွေးကောက်၍ စေလွှတ် လော့ဟု၊
3Send men to view the land of Chanaan, which I will give to the children of Israel, one of every tribe, of the rulers.
3ထာဝရဘုရား မှာထား တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ မောရှေ သည် လူ တို့ကို ပါရန် တော က စေလွှတ် လေ၏။ စေလွှတ်သောသူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုး ၌ အကဲအမှူး ဖြစ်ကြ၏။
4Moses did what the Lord had commanded, sending from the desert of Pharan, principal men, whose names are these:
4သူ တို့အမည် ကား၊ ရုဗင် အမျိုး ၊ ဇက္ကုရ သား ရှမွာ။
5Of the tribe of Ruben, Sammua the son of Zechur.
5ရှိမောင် အမျိုး ၊ ဟောရိ သား ၊ ရှာဖတ်။
6Of the tribe of Simeon, Saphat the son of Hurl.
6ယုဒ အမျိုး ၊ ယေဖုန္န သား ကာလက်။
7Of the tribe of Juda, Caleb the son of Jephone.
7ဣသခါ အမျိုး ၊ ယောသပ် သား ဣဂါလ။
8Of the tribe of Issachar, Igal the son of Joseph.
8ဧဖရိမ် အမျိုး ၊ နုန် သား ဩရှေ။
9Of the tribe of Ephraim, Osee the son of Nun.
9ဗင်္ယာမိန် အမျိုး ၊ ရာဖု သား ပါလတိ။
10Of the tribe of Benjamin, Phalti the son of Raphu.
10ဇာဗုလုန် အမျိုး ၊ သောဒိ သား ဂါဒျေလ။
11Of the tribe of Zabulon, Geddiel the son of Sodi.
11ယောသပ် သား တွင် မနာရှေ အမျိုး ၊ သုသိ သား ဂဒ္ဒိ။
12Of the tribe of Joseph, of the sceptre of Manasses, Gaddi the son of Susi.
12ဒန် အမျိုး ၊ ဂေမလ္လိ သား အမျေလ။
13Of the tribe of Dan, Ammiel the son of Gemalli.
13အာရှာ အမျိုး ၊ မိက္ခေလ သား သေသုရ။
14Of the tribe of Aser, Sthur the son of Michael.
14နဿလိ အမျိုး ၊ ဝါဖသိ သား နာဘိ။
15Of the tribe of Nephtali, Nahabi the son of Vapsi.
15ဂဒ် အမျိုး မာခိ သား ဂွေလ တည်းဟူသော၊
16Of the tribe of Gad, Guel the son of Machi.
16ခါနာန်ပြည် ကို စူးစမ်း စေခြင်းငှါ မောရှေ စေလွှတ် သောသူတို့ ၏အမည် တည်း။ နုန် ၏သား ဩရှေ ကို ယောရှု ဟူသောအမည်ဖြင့် မောရှေ မှည့် လေ၏။
17These are the names of the men, whom Moses sent to view the land: and he called Osee the son of Nun, Josue.
17ခါနာန် ပြည် ကို စူးစမ်း စေခြင်းငှါ မောရှေ စေလွှတ် လျက် ၊ သင်တို့သည် တောင် မျက်နှာလမ်းဖြင့် သွား ၍ တောင်ရိုး ပေါ်သို့တက် ကြလော့။
18And Moses sent them to view the land of Chanaan, and said to them: Go you up by the south side. And when you shall come to the mountains,
18ထိုပြည် သည် အဘယ်သို့ သော ပြည်ဖြစ် သနည်း။ ပြည်သား တို့သည် အားကြီး သလော၊ အားနည်း သလော။ များ သလော၊ နည်း သလော။
19View the land, of what sort it is: and the people that are the inhabitants thereof, whether they be strong or weak: few in number or many:
19သူ တို့နေ သောပြည် သည် ကောင်း သလော၊ မကောင်း လော။ သူ တို့နေ သော မြို့ ရွာတို့သည် အဘယ်သို့ နည်း။ တဲ နှင့် နေကြသလော။ ခိုင်ခံ့ သော မြို့နှင့် နေကြသလော။
20The land itself, whether it be good or bad: what manner of cities, walled or without walls:
20ထိုမြေ သည် ကောင်း သလော၊ မကောင်း လော။ တော များသလော၊ နည်း သလောဟုကြည့်ရှုကြလော့။ ရဲရင့် သောစိတ်ရှိကြလော့။ သစ်သီး အချို့ ကိုလည်း ယူ ခဲ့ ကြလော့ဟု မှာလိုက်လေ၏။ ထိုကာလ သည် စပျစ်သီး မှည့် စကာလ ဖြစ်သတည်း။
21The ground, fat or barren, woody or without trees. Be of good courage, and bring us of the fruits of the land. Now it was the time when the first ripe grapes are fit to be eaten.
21ထိုသူတို့သည် ဇိန တော မှ သွား ၍ ဟာမတ် မြို့သို့ ရောက်သော လမ်းနား၊ ရဟောဘ မြို့တိုင်အောင် ခါနာန် ပြည် ကို စူးစမ်း ကြ၏။
22And when they were gone up, they viewed the land from the desert of Sin, unto Rohob as you enter into Emath.
22တောင် မျက်နှာ၌ ရှောက်သွား ၍ အာနက အမျိုးသား အဟိမန် ၊ ရှေရှဲ ၊ တာလမဲ နေသောဟေဗြုန် မြို့သို့ ရောက် ကြ၏။ ဟေဗြုန် မြို့ကား၊ အဲဂုတ္တု ပြည်၌ ဇောန မြို့ မ တည်မှီ ခုနစ် နှစ် ကတည် သော မြို့ဖြစ်သတည်း။
23And they went up at the south side, and came to Hebron, where were Achiman and Sisai and Tholmai the sons of Enac. For Hebron was built seven years before Tanis the city of Egypt.
23ဧရှကောလ ချိုင့် သို့ ရောက် လျှင် ၊ အသီး တ ပြွတ် ပါသောစပျစ်နွယ်ပင်အခက် တခက်ကို ခုတ် ၍ လူ နှစ် ယောက်တို့သည် ထမ်းဘိုး နှင့်ထမ်း ကြ၏။ သလဲသီး ၊ သင်္ဘောသဖန်းသီး များကိုလည်း ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြ၏။
24And going forward as far as the torrent of the cluster of grapes, they cut off a branch with its cluster of grapes, which two men carried upon a lever. They took also of the pomegranates and of the figs of that place:
24ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား ခုတ် ယူသော စပျစ်သီး ပြွတ်ကိုထောက်၍ ၊ ထို ချိုင့် ကို ဧရှကောလ ချိုင့် ဟူသောအမည်ဖြင့် မှည့် သတည်း။
25Which was called Nehelescol, that is to say, the torrent of the cluster of grapes, because from thence the children of Israel had carried a cluster of grapes.
25အရက် လေးဆယ် လွန် မှ ခါနာန်ပြည် ကို စူးစမ်း သော အမှုပြီး၍ ပြန် လာကြ၏။
26And they that went to spy out the land returned after forty days, having gone round all the country,
26မောရှေ နှင့် အာရုန် မှစ၍ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား ပရိသတ် အပေါင်း တို့နေရာ ပါရန် တော ၊ ကာဒေရှ အရပ်သို့ ရောက် သောအခါ ၊ ပရိသတ် အပေါင်း တို့အား သိတင်း ကြားပြော၍ ၊ ထိုပြည် ၌ သီးသော အသီး ကို ပြ ကြ၏။
27And came to Moses and Aaron and to all the assembly of the children of Israel to the desert of Pharan, which is in Cades. And speaking to them and to all the multitude, they shewed them the fruits of the land:
27မောရှေ အား လည်း ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်ကိုယ်တော်စေလွှတ် သော ပြည် သို့ ရောက် ခဲ့ပါပြီ။ အကယ်စင်စစ် ထိုပြည်သည် နို့ နှင့် ပျားရည် စီး သော ပြည်ဖြစ်ပါ၏။ ဤ အသီးတို့ ကား ထိုပြည်၌သီးသော အသီး ဖြစ်ပါ၏။
28And they related and said: We came into the land to which thou sentest us, which in very deed floweth with milk and honey as may be known by these fruits:
28သို့ရာတွင် ပြည်သူ ပြည်သားတို့သည် အားကြီး ပါ၏။ ခိုင်ခံ့ သော မြို့ ကြီး နှင့်နေကြပါ၏။ ထိုမျှမက ၊ အာနက အမျိုးသား တို့ကိုလည်း မြင် ရပါ၏။
29But it hath very strong inhabitants, and the cities are great and walled. We saw there the race of Enac.
29အာမလက် အမျိုးသားတို့သည် တောင် ဘက် ၌၎င်း၊ ဟိတ္တိ လူ၊ ယေဗုသိ လူ၊ အာမောရိ လူတို့သည် တောင်ရိုး ပေါ်၌ ၎င်း၊ ခါနာနိ လူတို့သည် ပင်လယ် နား ယော်ဒန် မြစ်နား၌၎င်း၊ နေ ကြပါသည်ဟု လျှောက်ဆို ကြ ၏။
30Amalec dwelleth in the south, the Hethite and the Jebusite and the Amorrhite in the mountains: but the Chanaanite abideth by the sea and near the streams of the Jordan.
30ကာလက် ကလည်း ချက်ခြင်းချီ သွား၍ ထိုပြည် ကို သိမ်းယူ ကြစို့။ အောင်နိုင် ကောင်းသည်ဟု ဆို ၍ မောရှေ ရှေ့မှာ လူ များတို့ကို ငြိမ်း စေ၏။
31In the mean time Caleb, to still the murmuring of the people that rose against Moses, said: Let us go up and possess the land, for we shall be able to conquer it.
31သူ နှင့်အတူ လိုက် သွားသော သူ တို့က၊ ထိုပြည်သား တို့ကို ငါတို့ မ တိုက် နိုင်။ သူ တို့သည် ငါ တို့ထက် သာ၍အားကြီး ကြသည်ဟူ၍၎င်း၊
32But the others, that had been with him, said: No, we are not able to go up to this people, because they are stronger than we.
32ငါတို့သွား ၍ စူးစမ်း သော ပြည် သည် မိမိ သား တို့ကို ဖျက်ဆီး တတ်၏။ ငါတို့တွေ့မြင် သော ပြည်သား အပေါင်း တို့သည် အလွန် အရပ်မြင့်ကြ၏။
33And they spoke ill of the land, which they had viewed, before the children of Israel, saying: The land which we have viewed, devoureth its inhabitants: the people, that we beheld, are of a tall stature.
33ကိုယ် ကြီးသောလူအမျိုးအနွယ်၊ အာနက အမျိုးအနွယ် ဖြစ်၍၊ အလွန် ကြီးမားသောသူတို့ ကိုလည်း မြင် ခဲ့ ကြပြီ။ သူတို့ရှေ့မှာငါတို့သည် ကိုယ် အထင် အတိုင်း နှံကောင် ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ် ကြ၏။ သူ တို့အထင် အတိုင်း လည်း ထိုသို့ ဖြစ် ကြသည်ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ မိမိတို့စူးစမ်း သော ပြည် ကို ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသား တို့အား မကောင်း သော သိတင်းကို ကြားပြော ကြလေ၏။
34There we saw certain monsters of the sons of Enac, of the giant kind: in comparison of whom, we seemed like locusts.
