1And on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalen cometh early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre; and she saw the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
1七日的第一日清早，天还黑的时候， 抹大拉 的 马利亚 来到坟墓那里，看见石头从坟墓挪开了，
2She ran, therefore, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and saith to them: They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
2就跑来见 西门·彼得 和耶稣所爱的那个门徒，对他们说：「有人把主从坟墓里挪了去，我们不知道放在哪里。」
3Peter therefore went out, and that other disciple, and they came to the sepulchre.
3彼得 和那门徒就出来，往坟墓那里去。
4And they both ran together, and that other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
4两个人同跑，那门徒比 彼得 跑得更快，先到了坟墓，
5And when he stooped down, he saw the linen cloths lying; but yet he went not in.
5低头往里看，就见细麻布还放在那里，只是没有进去。
6Then cometh Simon Peter, following him, and went into the sepulchre, and saw the linen cloths lying,
6西门·彼得 随后也到了，进坟墓里去，就看见细麻布还放在那里，
7And the napkin that had been about his head, not lying with the linen cloths, but apart, wrapped up into one place.
7又看见耶稣的裹头巾没有和细麻布放在一处，是另在一处卷着。
8Then that other disciple also went in, who came first to the sepulchre: and he saw, and believed.
8先到坟墓的那门徒也进去，看见就信了。（
9For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
9因为他们还不明白圣经的 意思 ，就是耶稣必要从死里复活。）
10The disciples therefore departed again to their home.
10于是两个门徒回自己的住处去了。
11But Mary stood at the sepulchre without, weeping. Now as she was weeping, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,
11马利亚 却站在坟墓外面哭。哭的时候，低头往坟墓里看，
12And she saw two angels in white, sitting, one at the head, and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been laid.
12就见两个天使，穿着白衣，在安放耶稣身体的地方坐着，一个在头，一个在脚。
13They say to her: Woman, why weepest thou? She saith to them: Because they have taken away my Lord; and I know not where they have laid him.
13天使对她说：「妇人，你为什么哭？」她说：「因为有人把我主挪了去，我不知道放在哪里。」
14When she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing; and she knew not that it was Jesus.
14说了这话，就转过身来，看见耶稣站在那里，却不知道是耶稣。
15Jesus saith to her: Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, thinking it was the gardener, saith to him: Sir, if thou hast taken him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
15耶稣问她说：「妇人，为什么哭？你找谁呢？」 马利亚 以为是看园的，就对他说：「先生，若是你把他移了去，请告诉我，你把他放在哪里，我便去取他。」
16Jesus saith to her: Mary. She turning, saith to him: Rabboni (which is to say, Master).
16耶稣说：「 马利亚 。」 马利亚 就转过来，用希伯来话对他说：「拉波尼！」（拉波尼就是夫子的意思。）
17Jesus saith to her: Do not touch me, for I am not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren, and say to them: I ascend to my Father and to your Father, to my God and your God.
17耶稣说：「不要摸我，因我还没有升上去见我的父。你往我弟兄那里去，告诉他们说，我要升上去见我的父，也是你们的父，见我的 神，也是你们的 神。」
18Mary Magdalen cometh, and telleth the disciples: I have seen the Lord, and these things he said to me.
18抹大拉 的 马利亚 就去告诉门徒说：「我已经看见了主。」她又将主对她说的这话告诉他们。
19Now when it was late that same day, the first of the week, and the doors were shut, where the disciples were gathered together, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them: Peace be to you.
19那日（就是七日的第一日）晚上，门徒所在的地方，因怕 犹太 人，门都关了。耶稣来，站在当中，对他们说：「愿你们平安！」
20And when he had said this, he shewed them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad, when they saw the Lord.
20说了这话，就把手和肋旁指给他们看。门徒看见主，就喜乐了。
21He said therefore to them again: Peace be to you. As the Father hath sent me, I also send you.
21耶稣又对他们说：「愿你们平安！父怎样差遣了我，我也照样差遣你们。」
22When he had said this, he breathed on them; and he said to them: Receive ye the Holy Ghost.
22说了这话，就向他们吹一口气，说：「你们受圣灵！
23Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them; and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained.
23你们赦免谁的罪，谁的罪就赦免了；你们留下谁的罪，谁的罪就留下了。」
24Now Thomas, one of the twelve, who is called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
24那十二个门徒中，有称为 低土马 的 多马 ；耶稣来的时候，他没有和他们同在。
25The other disciples therefore said to him: We have seen the Lord. But he said to them: Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.
25那些门徒就对他说：「我们已经看见主了。」 多马 却说：「我非看见他手上的钉痕，用指头探入那钉痕，又用手探入他的肋旁，我总不信。」
26And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Jesus cometh, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said: Peace be to you.
26过了八日，门徒又在屋里， 多马 也和他们同在，门都关了。耶稣来，站在当中说：「愿你们平安！」
27Then he saith to Thomas: Put in thy finger hither, and see my hands; and bring hither thy hand, and put it into my side; and be not faithless, but believing.
27就对 多马 说：「伸过你的指头来，摸我的手；伸出你的手来，探入我的肋旁。不要疑惑，总要信！」
28Thomas answered, and said to him: My Lord, and my God.
28多马 说：「我的主！我的 神！」
29Jesus saith to him: Because thou hast seen me, Thomas, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and have believed.
29耶稣对他说：「你因看见了我才信；那没有看见就信的有福了。」
30Many other signs also did Jesus in the sight of his disciples, which are not written in this book.
30耶稣在门徒面前另外行了许多神迹，没有记在这书上。
31But these are written, that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God: and that believing, you may have life in his name.
31但记这些事要叫你们信耶稣是基督，是 神的儿子，并且叫你们信了他，就可以因他的名得生命。
