Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
1And you, when you were dead in your offences, and sins,
1PIL dueta komail ni omail melaki japun o dip akan,
2Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of this air, of the spirit that now worketh on the children of unbelief:
2Me komail dadaureki maj duen tiak en jappa et, o duen wiawia en jaupeidi o, me manaman pan lan, iei nen o, me kin dodok ren jeri jopeik kan anjau wet.
3In which also we all conversed in time past, in the desires of our flesh, fulfilling the will of the flesh and of our thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest:
3A kitail karoj pil weweid nan pun arail maj o ni inon en uduk atail, o kapwaiada inon en uduk o lamelam, o kitail me udan jeri en onion akan dueta me tei kan.
4But God, (who is rich in mercy,) for his exceeding charity wherewith he loved us,
4A Kot, me dir en kalanan, pweki a limpok me a kotin pok on kitail lar,
5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together in Christ, (by whose grace you are saved,)
5Nin dokan atail melaki japun kan, nan a kamauri kitail dar ki Krijtuj, pwe mak o, me komail dore kila,
6And hath raised us up together, and hath made us sit together in the heavenly places, through Christ Jesus.
6O pil kotin kamaur kitail dar o kotin kajapwil kitail dan nanlan ren Krijtuj Iejuj,
7That he might shew in the ages to come the abundant riches of his grace, in his bounty towards us in Christ Jesus.
7Pwe a en kotin kajanjaleda a mak o kalanan lapalap ni muei kokodo on kitail ren Krijtuj Iejuj.
8For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, for it is the gift of God;
8Pwe ni pojon komail kamaur kilar mak; a kaidin pweki pein komail, a pai eu ren Kot,
9Not of works, that no man may glory.
9Kaidin ki wiawia kan, pwe jota amen en akjuaiki.
10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus in good works, which God hath prepared that we should walk in them.
10Pwe japwilim a dodok kitail, me wiauier ren Krijtuj Iejuj on wiawia mau kan, me Kot kotin kaonopadan kitail er, pwe kitail en dadaurata.
11For which cause be mindful that you, being heretofore Gentiles in the flesh, who are called uncircumcision by that which is called circumcision in the flesh, made by hands;
11Komail ari tamatamanda, me komail men liki maj o, me aluki uduk pwel, men kaindinda jojirkomjaij ren me jirkomjaij, me kin wiaui ni uduk manin pa.
12That you were at that time without Christ, being aliens from the conversation of Israel, and strangers to the testament, having no hope of the promise, and without God in this world.
12Pwe ni anjau o komail likin Krijtuj, o likin pai en Ijrael, o likin inau en jojo kan; i me jota omail kaporopor o jota omail Kot ni jappa wet.
13But now in Christ Jesus, you, who some time were afar off, are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
13A komail me doo wei jan mepukat maj o, a anjau wet komail me korendor o mi ren Krijtuj Iejuj pweki ntan Krijtuj.
14For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and breaking down the middle wall of partition, the enmities in his flesh:
14Pwe i atail popol, me wia kin ira eu, o me kotin kawela kel o, me mi nan pun ara,
15Making void the law of commandments contained in decrees; that he might make the two in himself into one new man, making peace;
15Ni a kotiki jan imwintiti re ’ra ki pali uduk a. Iel kapun o me audekier kujoned akan, pwe en kotin wia kin ir ala aramaj kap ta men on pein i.
16And might reconcile both to God in one body by the cross, killing the enmities in himself.
16Pwen kalolamaui on Kot ira ni war ta ieu pan lopu murin a kotin tiakedi imwintiti ki lopu.
17And coming, he preached peace to you that were afar off, and peace to them that were nigh.
17O a kotidoer padaki popol on komail, me doo wei jan, o popol on me koren akan.
18For by him we have access both in one Spirit to the Father.
18Nan pweki i kita karoj kak tu on Jam ki Nen ta ieu.
19Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners; but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and the domestics of God,
19Komail ari jolar men liki o men wai, a me pweledan akan ianaki jaraui kan o kijan penainai en Kot.
20Built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone:
20Me kakauda pon pajon en wanporon o jaukop akan, a pein Iejuj Krijtuj me takain pukakaim.
21In whom all the building, being framed together, groweth up into an holy temple in the Lord.
21I waja kajukajuk kin koda jan ia, wiala tanpaj jaraui en Kaun o,
22In whom you also are built together into an habitation of God in the Spirit.
22Me komail pil ian kokon penan mol en Kot ren Nen.
