II. Timotheungu 2

Testamenta Marra (Dieri New Testament)
Douay-Rheims Bible, American Edition (1899)
1Jidni, ngakani kupajai, ngurunguru pantjiau manjulani, nauja Christungu Jesungu nganai,
1Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace which is in Christ Jesus:
2Ja mina jundru ngakangundru kiririna wonti morlalu kuranietja worangu jela, jenia kana talkuni jinkiau, tana ngurunguru nganai bakana nguruni ngujangujara jinkila.
2And the things which thou hast heard of me by many witnesses, the same commend to faithful men, who shall be fit to teach others also.
3Ketjaketjau Jesuni Christuni julja talkuni jeribaka.
3Labour as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
4Wata kulno, nau tirimalinaia wapai, palkuja mangini manujeli ngundrai, ngangau nau nunkangu, nulu nina matja patana, murlali nganananto.
4No man, being a soldier to God, entangleth himself with secular businesses; that he may please him to whom he hath engaged himself.
5Bakana kulno tirimalinani, nulu wata pirapira manila nganai, nulu wata talku tirimalinani.
5For he also that striveth for the mastery, is not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
6Mita ngankanietjali, nulu jiglerali ngankai, tandra buru ngopera ngamalkananto.
6The husbandman, that laboureth, must first partake of the fruits.
7Ngundramai mina ngani jatai, Kaparali jinkangu warupotuni ngujamani jinkila nganai.
7Understand what I say: for the Lord will give thee in all things understanding.
8Tjurujeli patamai Jesus Christus, ninaia Nulia narindru jiritjibana wonti, Nauja Davidani ngatamurandru nganai, ngakani ngantjani jaurandru,
8Be mindful that the Lord Jesus Christ is risen again from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my gospel.
9Nunkangu ngani ketjaketjai kanjangarielu, madlentji ngankanietja jeribaka; windri Godaia jaura wata dupudupu nganai.
9Wherein I labour even unto bands, as an evildoer; but the word of God is not bound.
10Jendrangundruja ngato pratjana manujeli patai kalkalkanilandru, ngangau bakana tanali murla maninanto, naupini Christungu Jesungu nganai, pirnala ngurali jela.
10Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation, which is in Christ Jesus, with heavenly glory.
11Morlalu naupini jaura nganai: Ngaiana nunkangu jela matja palina, ngaiana bakana nunkangu jela tepi ngamala nganai;
11A faithful saying: for if we be dead with him, we shall live also with him.
12Ngaiana ketjaketjanani, ngaiana bakana nunkangu jela jirijiribala nganai; ngaiana kutibanani, jeruja bakana Nulia ngaianana kutibala nganai,
12If we suffer, we shall also reign with him. If we deny him, he will also deny us.
13Ngaiana wata morlalu ngundranani, Nauja wonki nganai; ngangau Nulia ngandandariai munta kutibaterila.
13If we believe not, he continueth faithful, he can not deny himself.
14Jenia nakaldra wilpa ngankau tanangu, ja morlalu kurau Kaparani, tana jaurandru wata jatamalini ngankananto, ngangau jenia baku nganai, ja windri ngaranietja tjautjau ngankai,
14Of these things put them in mind, charging them before the Lord. Contend not in words, for it is to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
15Jiglerali ngankamai Godani ngurunguru wondraterila ngankanietja ninta nguru jeribaka, nulu morlaluja jaura talku puntibai.
15Carefully study to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
16Jaura baku ja murumurundru kutingamai, ngangau tana milingeru morla tjautjaulani wiringala nganai,
16But shun profane and vain babblings: for they grow much towards ungodliness.
17Ja tanani jaura kima jeribaka tajiterila nganai. Tanangunto Hymenäus ja Philetus,
17And their speech spreadeth like a canker: of whom are Hymeneus and Philetus:
18Tana morlalulandru tjiringana warai, ja jatai: Narindru jiritj ni matja pantjina warai, ja jeruja tanali palpaia morlalu ngundrana kokulterkibai.
18Who have erred from the truth, saying, that the resurrection is past already, and have subverted the faith of some.
19Godaia marda kapara ngurunguru parai, ja nulia ninapini malka morlalu ngamalkai: „Kaparali nunkanina ngujamai;“ ja: „Talkula panindru pilkirianau, warle Christuni tala dikai.“
19But the sure foundation of God standeth firm, having this seal: the Lord knoweth who are his; and let every one depart from iniquity who nameth the name of the Lord.
20Punga pirnani wata windri koko marda maraljendru ja marda bulundru parai, a‐ai, bakana pitandru ja mitandru; ja palpa pilki pirnalaia, palpa pilki nintaia.
20But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and earth: and some indeed unto honour, but some unto dishonour.
21Kulno jendrangundrupara talku kulirkaterinani, nau pirnalaia koko nganala nganai, kulikiri ja ngumu pungaia Kaparani, ngankana ngumu pratjanani matja ngankingana.
21If any man therefore shall cleanse himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified and profitable to the Lord, prepared unto every good work.
22Teria milkirinandru japa mindriau, karipaterintiau talkulani, morlalu ngundranani, ngantjanani, murlani, tanangu jela, tanali Kapara karkai ngatjila ngara kulikirindru.
22But flee thou youthful desires, and pursue justice, faith, charity, and peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
23Jatamalini jakalkijiribamalini tjikatjika ja patipati narrau, ngangau jidni milkila, tanangundru windri tirimalini dunkai.
23And avoid foolish and unlearned questions, knowing that they beget strifes.
24Kaparaia mili wata tirimalinanto, a‐ai, nau malti nganananto kana warupotuni, ja kiri, ngujangujara jinkila, ja madlentji ngankanani worani patananto,
24But the servant of the Lord must not wrangle: but be mild towards all men, apt to teach, patient,
25Nulu manjujeli tatakanietja kurukurubananto, Godali tanangu madlentjandru karitjini jinkinanto kara morlaluja ngujamanaia,
25With modesty admonishing them that resist the truth: if peradventure God may give them repentance to know the truth,
26Tana nakaldra kalunguru pantjinanto ja dukaraterinanto kutjia mintindru, nulu tanana dupudupu patai nunkani jertapaterinaia.
26And they may recover themselves from the snares of the devil, by whom they are held captive at his will.
