Coptic New Testament
Douay-Rheims Bible, American Edition (1899)
1Ⲁⲙⲟⲓ ⲛⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲉⲣ⳿ⲁⲛⲉⲭⲉⲥⲑⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲁⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⳿ⲱⲟⲩ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ..
1Would to God you could bear with some little of my folly: but do bear with me.
2ϯⲭⲟϩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲭⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲁⲓϩⲉⲧⲡ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϩⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲡⲁⲣⲑⲉⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲥⲧⲟⲩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⳿ⲙⲠⲭ̅ⲥ.̅.
2For I am jealous of you with the jealousy of God. For I have espoused you to one husband that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
3ϯⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲏⲡⲱⲥ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓϩⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϥⲉⲣϩⲁⲗ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲉⲩⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲉⲧⲥⲉⲃ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉⲧⲁⲕⲟ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ϯ ⲙⲉⲧϩⲁⲡⲗⲟⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ.̅.
3But I fear lest, as the serpent seduced Eve by his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted, and fall from the simplicity that is in Christ.
4ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ϥⲛⲁϩⲓⲱⲓϣ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲕⲉⲒⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲛϩⲓⲱⲓϣ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲓⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϭ ⲓ ⳿ⲛⲕⲉⲡⲛ̅ⲁ̅ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛϭⲓⲧϥ ⲓⲉ ⲕⲉⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲟⲡϥ ⲕⲁⲗⲱⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲉⲣ⳿ⲁⲛⲉⲭ ⲉⲥⲑⲉ ⲡⲉ..
4For if he that cometh preacheth another Christ, whom we have not preached; or if you receive another Spirit, whom you have not received; or another gospel which you have not received; you might well bear with him.
5ϯⲙⲉⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ϫⲉ ϯⲉⲣϧⲁ⳿ⲉ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲑⲟⲩ⳿ⲟⲧⲉⲃ..
5For I suppose that I have done nothing less than the great apostles.
6ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲓⲇⲓ⳿ⲱⲧⲏⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛϩⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ..
6For although I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but in all things we have been made manifest to you.
7ⲙⲏ ⲟⲩⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲡⲉⲧⲁⲓⲁⲓϥ ⲉⲓⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϭⲓⲥⲓ ϫⲉ ⲁⲓϩⲓⲱⲓϣ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲓⲛϫⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲫϯ.⳿.
7Or did I commit a fault, humbling myself, that you might be exalted? Because I preached unto you the gospel of God freely?
8ⲁⲓⲕⲱⲗⲡ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲉⲕ⳿ⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲁⲓϭⲓ ⳿ ⲟⲯⲱⲛⲓⲟⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲉⲙϣⲓ..
8I have taken from other churches, receiving wages of them for your ministry.
9ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓⲭⲏ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲉⲣϧⲁ⳿ⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁϩⲃⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁ⳿ϭⲣⲟϩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲩϫⲉⲕ ⲣⲱϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲑⲙⲁⲕⲉⲇⲟⲛⲓⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲁⲓ⳿ⲁⲣⲉϩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲉⲓⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁⲧⲃⲁⲣⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲓ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲟⲛ..
9And, when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was wanting to me, the brethren supplied who came from Macedonia; and in all things I have kept myself from being burthensome to you, and so I will keep myself.
10ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲥϣⲟⲡ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ϥⲛⲁ⳿ϣⲑⲁⲙ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯ⳿ⲁⲭⲁⲓ⳿ⲁ..
10The truth of Christ is in me, that this glorying shall not be broken off in me in the regions of Achaia.
11ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲁⲛ ⲫϯ ⲡⲉⲧⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ..
11Wherefore? Because I love you not? God knoweth it.
12ⲡⲉϯⲣⲁ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ϯⲛⲁⲁⲓϥ ⲟⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁϫⲉϫ ⳿ⲑⲗⲱⲓϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲑⲟⲩⲱϣ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲗⲱⲓϫⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉϫⲉⲙⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲫⲏ⳿ⲉⲧϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲉⲛⲣⲏϯ ϩⲱⲛ..
12But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off the occasion from them that desire occasion, that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.
13ⲛⲁⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ϩⲁⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲛⲉ ⳿ⲛⲉⲣⲅⲁⲧⲏⲥ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲭⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲩϣⲓⲃϯ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ.̅.
13For such false apostles are deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲧⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ϩⲱϥ ⳿ⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ⳿ϥϣⲓⲃϯ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡ⳿ⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲫⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ..
14And no wonder: for Satan himself transformeth himself into an angel of light.
15⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⲁⲛ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲛⲉϥⲕⲉⲇⲓ⳿ⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲥⲉϣⲓⲃϯ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡ⳿ⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲇⲓ⳿ⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲛⲁⲓ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ ⲧⲟⲩϧⲁ⳿ⲉ ⲛⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ϩⲃⲏⲟⲩⲓ..
15Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers be transformed as the ministers of justice, whose end shall be according to their works.
16ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲙⲏⲡⲱⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲙⲉⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲟⲩⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲕⲁⲛ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ϣⲟⲡⲧ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ϩⲱ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ..
16I say again, (let no man think me to be foolish, otherwise take me as one foolish, that I also may glory a little.)
17ⲡⲉϯⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲁⲓϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲁⲛ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ Ⲡ⳪ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϩⲱⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲓϣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲁⲓϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ..
17That which I speak, I speak not according to God, but as it were in foolishness, in this matter of glorying.
18⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲇⲏ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ϯⲛⲁϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲓ..
18Seeing that many glory according to the flesh, I will glory also.
19ϩⲏⲇⲏⲱⲥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲁⲛⲉⲭⲉⲥⲑⲉ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲁⲃⲉⲩ..
19For you gladly suffer the foolish; whereas yourselves are wise.
20ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲁⲛⲉⲭⲉⲥⲑⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲙⲫⲏⲉⲧ⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲃⲱⲕ ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲫⲏⲉⲧϭⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲫⲏⲉⲧϭⲓⲥⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲫⲏ⳿ⲉⲧϩⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲟ..
20For you suffer if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take from you, if a man be lifted up, if a man strike you on the face.
21ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲟⲩϣⲱϣ ϯϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛϣⲱⲛⲓ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲛⲁⲉⲣⲧⲟⲗⲙⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ⲁⲓϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧϩⲏⲧ ϯⲛⲁⲉⲣⲧⲟⲗⲙⲁⲛ ϩⲱ..
21I speak according to dishonour, as if we had been weak in this part. Wherein if any man dare (I speak foolishly), I dare also.
22ϩⲁⲛϩⲉⲃⲣⲉⲟⲥ ⲛⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲥⲣⲁ⳿ⲏⲗⲓⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ϫⲣⲟϫ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲁⲃⲣⲁⲁⲙ ⲛⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ..
22They are Hebrews: so am I. They are Israelites: so am I. They are the seed of Abraham: so am I.
23ϩⲁⲛⲇⲓ⳿ⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲉ ⲁⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲓϩⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛϧⲓⲥⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛϣⲏϣⲓ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲕⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⳿ⲛⲥⲟⲡ..
23They are the ministers of Christ (I speak as one less wise). I am more; in many more labours, in prisons more frequently, in stripes above measure, in deaths often.
24⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲁⲓϭⲓ ⲉ̅ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛⲙ̅ ⳿ⲛϣⲁϣ ϣⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ..
24Of the Jews five times did I receive forty stripes, save one.
25ⲁⲩⲟⲩⲉϣⲟⲩⲱϣⲧ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡ⳿ϣⲃⲱⲧ ⳿ⲛⲅ̅ ⳿ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ⲁⲩϩⲒ⳿ⲱⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟⲡ ⲁ ⳿ⲡϫⲟⲓ ⲃⲓϫⲓ ϧⲁⲣⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲅ̅ ⳿ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ⲁⲓⲉⲣ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲣϩ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲕ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲓⲟⲙ..
25Thrice was I beaten with rods, once I was stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I was in the depth of the sea.
26ⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ ϩⲓ ⳿ⲫⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⳿ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ⲁⲓϩⲱϣ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲓⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲓϩⲱϣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲓⲛⲱⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲁⲓϩⲱϣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲁ ⲡⲁ⳿ϣⲗⲱⲗ ⲁⲓϩⲱϣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲁⲓϩⲱϣ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⲁⲓϩⲱϣ ϩⲓ ⳿ⲡϣⲁϥⲉ ⲁⲓϩⲱϣ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲫⲓⲟⲙ ⲁⲓϩⲱϣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩϫ..
26In journeying often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils from my own nation, in perils from the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils from false brethren.
27ⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛϧⲓⲥⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲙⲕⲁⲩϩ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ϣⲣⲱⲓⲥ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⳿ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ϩⲕⲟ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩⲓⲃⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛⲛⲏⲥⲧⲓ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⳿ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛϫⲁϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲃⲱϣ..
27In labour and painfulness, in much watchings, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
28ⲭⲱⲣⲓⲥ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲥⲁⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϥⲭⲏ ϩⲓϫⲱⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲏⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⳿ⲫⲣⲱⲟⲩϣ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲉⲕ⳿ⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ..
28Besides those things which are without: my daily instance, the solicitude for all the churches.
29ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧϣⲱⲛⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯϣⲱⲛⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲉⲧⲉⲣ⳿ⲥⲕⲁⲛⲇⲁⲗⲓⲍⲉⲥⲑⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϯⲣⲱⲕϩ ⲁⲛ..
29Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is scandalized, and I am not on fire?
30ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⳿ⲥⲉⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⲁⲓⲛⲁϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲁⲙⲉⲧϫⲱⲃ..
30If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things that concern my infirmity.
31ⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲛ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⲫⲏⲉⲧ⳿ⲥⲙⲁⲣⲱⲟⲩⲧ ϣⲁ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲉⲛⲉϩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛϯϫⲉⲙⲉⲑⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲁⲛ..
31The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed for ever, knoweth that I lie not.
32ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ⳿ⲡⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲁ ⳿ⲡⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲛⲁϥ⳿ⲁⲣⲉϩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲑⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲁ ⲇⲁⲙⲁⲥⲕⲟⲥ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲱϣ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁϩⲟⲓ..
32At Damascus, the governor of the nation under Aretas the king, guarded the city of the Damascenes, to apprehend me.
33ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲭⲁⲧ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϣⲟⲩϣⲧ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲥⲁⲣⲅⲁⲛⲏ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲥⲟⲃⲧ ⲁⲓⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥϫⲓϫ.
33And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and so escaped his hands.
