1亞哈隨魯 王使旱地和海島的人民都進貢。
1And the king Ahasuerus laid a tribute upon the land, and upon the isles of the sea.
2他以權柄能力所行的，並他抬舉 末底改 使他高升的事，豈不都寫在 米底亞 和 波斯 王的歷史上嗎？
2And all the acts of his power and of his might, and the full account of the greatness of Mordecai, how the king advanced him, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia?
3猶大 人 末底改 作 亞哈隨魯 王的宰相，在 猶大 人中為大，得他眾弟兄的喜悅，為本族的人求好處，向他們說和平的話。
3For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren; seeking the good of his people and speaking peace to all his seed.
