1尼尼微 啊，那打碎 邦国 的上来攻击你。 你要看守保障，谨防道路， 使腰强壮，大大勉力。 （
1(2-2) A maul is come up before thy face; guard the defences, watch the way, make thy loins strong, fortify thy power mightily! —
2耶和华复兴 雅各 的荣华， 好像 以色列 的荣华一样； 因为使地空虚的， 已经使 雅各 和 以色列 空虚， 将他们的葡萄枝毁坏了。）
2(2-3) For the LORD restoreth the pride of Jacob, as the pride of Israel; for the emptiers have emptied them out, and marred their vine-branches. —
3他勇士的盾牌是红的， 精兵都穿朱红 衣服 。 在他预备 争战 的日子， 战车上的钢铁闪烁如火， 柏木把的 枪 也抡起来了。
3(2-4) The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet; the chariots are fire of steel in the day of his preparation, and the cypress spears are made to quiver.
4车辆在街上急行， 在宽阔处奔来奔去， 形状如火把， 飞跑如闪电。
4(2-5) The chariots rush madly in the streets, they jostle one against another in the broad places; the appearance of them is like torches, they run to and fro like the lightnings.
5尼尼微 王招聚他的贵胄； 他们步行绊跌， 速上城墙，预备挡牌。
5(2-6) He bethinketh himself of his worthies; they stumble in their march; they make haste to the wall thereof, and the mantelet is prepared.
6河闸开放，宫殿冲没。
6(2-7) The gates of the rivers are opened, and the palace is dissolved.
7王后蒙羞，被人掳去； 宫女捶胸，哀鸣如鸽。 此乃命定之事。
7(2-8) And the queen is uncovered, she is carried away, and her handmaids moan as with the voice of doves, tabering upon their breasts.
8尼尼微 自古以来 充满人民 ， 如同聚水的池子； 现在居民却都逃跑。 虽有人呼喊说 ：站住！站住！ 却无人回顾。
8(2-9) But Nineveh hath been from of old like a pool of water; yet they flee away; 'Stand, stand'; but none looketh back.
9你们抢掠金银吧！ 因为所积蓄的无穷， 华美的宝器无数。
9(2-10) Take ye the spoil of silver, take the spoil of gold; for there is no end of the store, rich with all precious vessels.
10尼尼微 现在空虚荒凉， 人心消化，双膝相碰， 腰都疼痛，脸都变色。
10(2-11) She is empty, and void, and waste; and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and convulsion is in all loins, and the faces of them all have gathered blackness.
11狮子的洞和少壮狮子喂养之处在哪里呢？ 公狮母狮小狮游行、无人惊吓之地在哪里呢？
11(2-12) Where is the den of the lions, which was the feeding-place of the young lions, where the lion and the lioness walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them afraid?
12公狮为小狮撕碎许多食物， 为母狮掐死活物， 把撕碎的、掐死的充满它的洞穴。
12(2-13) The lion did tear in pieces enough for his whelps, and strangled for his lionesses, and filled his caves with prey, and his dens with ravin.
13万军之耶和华说：「我与你为敌，必将你的车辆焚烧成烟，刀剑也必吞灭你的少壮狮子。我必从地上除灭你所撕碎的，你使者的声音必不再听见。」
13(2-14) Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lions; and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.
