1耶稣叫了十二个门徒来，给他们权柄，能赶逐污鬼，并医治各样的病症。
1And calling His twelve disciples to Him, Jesus gave them authority over unclean spirits, so that they could drive them out and heal every disease and sickness.
2这十二使徒的名：头一个叫 西门 （又称 彼得 ），还有他兄弟 安得烈 ， 西庇太 的儿子 雅各 和 雅各 的兄弟 约翰 ，
2These are the names of the twelve apostles: first Simon, called Peter, and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John;
3腓力 和 巴多罗买 ， 多马 和税吏 马太 ， 亚勒腓 的儿子 雅各 ，和 达太 ，
3Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
4奋锐党的 西门 ，还有卖耶稣的 加略 人 犹大 。
4Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus.
5耶稣差这十二个人去，吩咐他们说：「外邦人的路，你们不要走； 撒马利亚 人的城，你们不要进；
5These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go onto the road of the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans.
6宁可往 以色列 家迷失的羊那里去。
6Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel.
7随走随传，说『天国近了！』
7As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’
8医治病人，叫死人复活，叫长大麻风的洁净，把鬼赶出去。你们白白地得来，也要白白地舍去。
8Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.
9腰袋里不要带金银铜钱；
9Do not carry any gold or silver or copper in your belts.
10行路不要带口袋；不要带两件褂子，也不要带鞋和拐杖。因为工人得饮食是应当的。
10Take no bag for the road, or second tunic, or sandals, or staff; for the worker is worthy of his provisions.
11你们无论进哪一城，哪一村，要打听那里谁是好人，就住在他家，直住到走的时候。
11Whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy there and stay at his house until you move on.
12进他家里去，要请他的安。
12As you enter the home, greet its occupants.
13那家若配得平安，你们所求的平安就必临到那家；若不配得，你们所求的平安仍归你们。
13If the home is worthy, let your peace rest on it; but if it is not, let your peace return to you.
14凡不接待你们、不听你们话的人，你们离开那家，或是那城的时候，就把脚上的尘土跺下去。
14And if anyone will not welcome you or heed your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town.
15我实在告诉你们，当审判的日子， 所多玛 和 蛾摩拉 所受的，比那城还容易受呢！」
15Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.
16「我差你们去，如同羊进入狼群；所以你们要灵巧像蛇，驯良像鸽子。
16Behold, I am sending you out like sheep among wolves; therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.
17你们要防备人；因为他们要把你们交给公会，也要在会堂里鞭打你们，
17But beware of men; for they will hand you over to their councils and flog you in their synagogues.
18并且你们要为我的缘故被送到诸侯君王面前，对他们和外邦人作见证。
18On My account, you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles.
19你们被交的时候，不要思虑怎样说话，或说什么话。到那时候，必赐给你们当说的话；
19But when they hand you over, do not worry about how to respond or what to say. In that hour you will be given what to say.
20因为不是你们自己说的，乃是你们父的灵在你们里头说的。
20For it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
21弟兄要把弟兄，父亲要把儿子，送到死地；儿女要与父母为敌，害死他们；
21Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rise against their parents and have them put to death.
22并且你们要为我的名被众人恨恶。惟有忍耐到底的必然得救。
22You will be hated by everyone because of My name, but the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.
23有人在这城里逼迫你们，就逃到那城里去。我实在告诉你们， 以色列 的城邑，你们还没有走遍，人子就到了。
23When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next. Truly I tell you, you will not reach all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
24学生不能高过先生；仆人不能高过主人。
24A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.
25学生和先生一样，仆人和主人一样，也就罢了。人既骂家主是别西卜，何况他的家人呢？」
25It is enough for a disciple to be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If the head of the house has been called Beelzebul, how much more the members of his household!
26「所以，不要怕他们；因为掩盖的事没有不露出来的，隐藏的事没有不被人知道的。
26So do not be afraid of them. For there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, and nothing hidden that will not be made known.
27我在暗中告诉你们的，你们要在明处说出来；你们耳中所听的，要在房上宣扬出来。
27What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the housetops.
28那杀身体、不能杀灵魂的，不要怕他们；惟有能把身体和灵魂都灭在地狱里的，正要怕他。
28Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Instead, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
29两个麻雀不是卖一分银子吗？若是你们的父不许，一个也不能掉在地上；
29Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father.
30就是你们的头发也都被数过了。
30And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31所以，不要惧怕，你们比许多麻雀还贵重！」
31So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
32「凡在人面前认我的，我在我天上的父面前也必认他；
32Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father in heaven.
33凡在人面前不认我的，我在我天上的父面前也必不认他。」
33But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven.
34「你们不要想我来是叫地上太平；我来并不是叫地上太平，乃是叫地上动刀兵。
34Do not assume that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
35因为我来是叫 人与父亲生疏， 女儿与母亲生疏， 媳妇与婆婆生疏。
35For I have come to turn ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
36人的仇敌就是自己家里的人。
36A man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’
37「爱父母过于爱我的，不配作我的门徒；爱儿女过于爱我的，不配作我的门徒；
37Anyone who loves his father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me;
38不背着他的十字架跟从我的，也不配作我的门徒。
38and anyone who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me.
39得着生命的，将要失丧生命；为我失丧生命的，将要得着生命。」
39Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
40「人接待你们就是接待我；接待我就是接待那差我来的。
40He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives the One who sent Me.
41人因为先知的名接待先知，必得先知所得的赏赐；人因为义人的名接待义人，必得义人所得的赏赐。
41Whoever receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man will receive a righteous man’s reward.
42无论何人，因为门徒的名，只把一杯凉水给这小子里的一个喝，我实在告诉你们，这人不能不得赏赐。」
42And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is My disciple, truly I tell you, he will never lose his reward.”
