1主何竟发怒，使黑云遮蔽 锡安 城！ 他将 以色列 的华美从天扔在地上； 在他发怒的日子并不记念自己的脚凳。
1How hath the Lord covered with a cloud the daughter of Zion in His anger! He hath cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and hath not remembered His footstool in the day of His anger.
2主吞灭 雅各 一切的住处，并不顾惜。 他发怒倾覆 犹大 民的保障， 使这保障坍倒在地； 他辱没这国和其中的首领。
2The Lord hath swallowed up unsparingly all the habitations of Jacob; He hath thrown down in His wrath the strongholds of the daughter of Judah; He hath brought them down to the ground; He hath profaned the kingdom and the princes thereof.
3他发烈怒，把 以色列 的角全然砍断， 在仇敌面前收回右手。 他像火焰四围吞灭，将 雅各 烧毁。
3He hath cut off in fierce anger all the horn of Israel; He hath drawn back His right hand from before the enemy; and He hath burned in Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about.
4他张弓好像仇敌； 他站着举起右手， 如同敌人将悦人眼目的，尽行杀戮。 在 锡安 百姓的帐棚上 倒出他的忿怒，像火一样。
4He hath bent His bow like an enemy, standing with His right hand as an adversary, and hath slain all that were pleasant to the eye; in the tent of the daughter of Zion He hath poured out His fury like fire.
5主如仇敌吞灭 以色列 和 锡安 的一切宫殿， 拆毁百姓的保障； 在 犹大 民中加增悲伤哭号。
5The Lord is become as an enemy, He hath swallowed up Israel; He hath swallowed up all her palaces, He hath destroyed his strongholds; and He hath multiplied in the daughter of Judah mourning and moaning.
6他强取自己的帐幕，好像是园中的 窝 棚， 毁坏他的聚会之处。 耶和华使圣节和安息日在 锡安 都被忘记， 又在怒气的愤恨中藐视君王和祭司。
6And He hath stripped His tabernacle, as if it were a garden, He hath destroyed His place of assembly; the LORD hath caused to be forgotten in Zion appointed season and sabbath, and hath rejected in the indignation of His anger the king and the priest.
7耶和华丢弃自己的祭坛， 憎恶自己的圣所， 将宫殿的墙垣交付仇敌。 他们在耶和华的殿中喧嚷， 像在圣会之日一样。
7The Lord hath cast off His altar, He hath abhorred His sanctuary, He hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD, as in the day of a solemn assembly.
8耶和华定意拆毁 锡安 的城墙； 他拉了准绳， 不将手收回，定要毁灭。 他使外郭和城墙都悲哀， 一同衰败。
8The LORD hath purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion; He hath stretched out the line, He hath not withdrawn His hand from destroying; but He hath made the rampart and wall to mourn, they languish together.
9锡安 的门都陷入地内； 主将她的门闩毁坏，折断。 她的君王和首领落在没有律法的列国中； 她的先知不得见耶和华的异象。
9Her gates are sunk into the ground; He hath destroyed and broken her bars; her king and her princes are among the nations, instruction is no more; yea, her prophets find no vision from the LORD.
10锡安 城的长老坐在地上默默无声； 他们扬起尘土落在头上，腰束麻布； 耶路撒冷 的处女垂头至地。
10They sit upon the ground, and keep silence, the elders of the daughter of Zion; they have cast up dust upon their heads, they have girded themselves with sackcloth; the virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground.
11我眼中流泪，以致失明； 我的心肠扰乱，肝 胆 涂地， 都因我众民遭毁灭， 又因孩童和吃奶的在城内街上发昏。
11Mine eyes do fail with tears, mine inwards burn, my liver is poured upon the earth, for the breach of the daughter of my people; because the young children and the sucklings swoon in the broad places of the city.
12那时，他们在城内街上发昏，好像受伤的， 在母亲的怀里，将要丧命； 对母亲说：谷、酒在哪里呢？
12They say to their mothers: 'Where is corn and wine?' when they swoon as the wounded in the broad places of the city, when their soul is poured out into their mothers' bosom.
13耶路撒冷 的民哪，我可用什么向你证明呢？ 我可用什么与你相比呢？ 锡安 的民哪，我可拿什么和你比较，好安慰你呢？ 因为你的裂口大如海， 谁能医治你呢？
13What shall I take to witness for thee? What shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? What shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? For thy breach is great like the sea; who can heal thee?
14你的先知为你见虚假和愚昧的异象， 并没有显露你的罪孽， 使你被掳的归回； 却为你见虚假的默示 和使你被赶出本境的缘故。
14Thy prophets have seen visions for thee of vanity and delusion; and they have not uncovered thine iniquity, to bring back thy captivity; but have prophesied for thee burdens of vanity and seduction.
15凡过路的都向你拍掌。 他们向 耶路撒冷 城嗤笑，摇头， 说 ： 难道人所称为全美的， 称为全地所喜悦的，就是这城吗？
15All that pass by clap their hands at thee; they hiss and wag their head at the daughter of Jerusalem: 'Is this the city that men called the perfection of beauty, the joy of the whole earth?'
16你的仇敌都向你大大张口； 他们嗤笑，又切齿说： 我们吞灭她。 这真是我们所盼望的日子临到了！ 我们亲眼看见了！
16All thine enemies have opened their mouth wide against thee; they hiss and gnash the teeth; they say: 'We have swallowed her up; certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it.'
17耶和华成就了他所定的， 应验了他古时所命定的。 他倾覆了，并不顾惜， 使你的仇敌向你夸耀； 使你敌人的角也被高举。
17The LORD hath done that which He devised; He hath performed His word that He commanded in the days of old; He hath thrown down unsparingly; and He hath caused the enemy to rejoice over thee, He hath exalted the horn of thine adversaries.
18锡安 民的心哀求主。 锡安 的城墙啊，愿你流泪如河， 昼夜不息； 愿你眼中的瞳人泪流不止。
18Their heart cried unto the Lord: 'O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night; give thyself no respite; let not the apple of thine eye cease.
19夜间，每逢交更的时候要起来呼喊， 在主面前倾心如水。 你的孩童在各市口上受饿发昏； 你要为他们的性命向主举手祷告。
19Arise, cry out in the night, at the beginning of the watches; pour out thy heart like water before the face of the Lord; lift up thy hands toward Him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger at the head of every street.'
20耶和华啊，求你观看！ 见你向谁这样行？ 妇人岂可吃自己所生育手里所摇弄的婴孩吗？ 祭司和先知岂可在主的圣所中被杀戮吗？
20'See, O LORD, and consider, to whom Thou hast done thus! Shall the women eat their fruit, the children that are dandled in the hands? Shall the priest and the prophet be slain in the sanctuary of the Lord?
21少年人和老年人都在街上躺卧； 我的处女和壮丁都倒在刀下； 你发怒的日子杀死他们。 你杀了，并不顾惜。
21The youth and the old man lie on the ground in the streets; my virgins and my young men are fallen by the sword; Thou hast slain them in the day of Thine anger; Thou hast slaughtered unsparingly.
22你招聚四围惊吓我的， 像在大会的日子招聚 人 一样。 耶和华发怒的日子， 无人逃脱，无人存留。 我所摇弄所养育的婴孩， 仇敌都杀净了。
22Thou hast called, as in the day of a solemn assembly, my terrors on every side, and there was none in the day of the LORD'S anger that escaped or remained; those that I have dandled and brought up hath mine enemy consumed.'
