1利玛利 的儿子 比加 十七年， 犹大 王 约坦 的儿子 亚哈斯 登基。
1In the seventeenth year of Phacee the son of Romelia reigned Achaz the son of Joatham king of Juda.
2他登基的时候年二十岁，在 耶路撒冷 作王十六年；不像他祖 大卫 行耶和华—他 神眼中看为正的事，
2Achaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: he did not that which was pleasing in the sight of the Lord his God, as David his father.
3却效法 以色列 诸王所行的，又照着耶和华从 以色列 人面前赶出的外邦人所行可憎的事，使他的儿子经火，
3But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel: moreover he consecrated also his son, making him pass through the fire according to the idols of the nations: which the Lord destroyed before the children of Israel.
4并在邱坛上、山冈上、各青翠树下献祭烧香。
4He sacrificed also and burnt incense in the high places and on the hills, and under every green tree.
5亚兰 王 利汛 和 以色列 王 利玛利 的儿子 比加 上来攻打 耶路撒冷 ，围困 亚哈斯 ，却不能胜他。
5Then Basin king of Syria, and Phacee son of Romelia king of Israel came up to Jerusalem to fight: and they besieged Achaz, but were not able to overcome him.
6当时 亚兰 王 利汛 收回 以拉他 归与 亚兰 ，将 犹大 人从 以拉他 赶出去。 亚兰 人就来到 以拉他 ，住在那里，直到今日。
6At that time Rasin king of Syria restored Aila to Syria, and drove the men of Juda out of Aila: and the Edomites came into Aila, and dwelt there unto this day.
7亚哈斯 差遣使者去见 亚述 王 提革拉·毗列色 ，说：「我是你的仆人、你的儿子。现在 亚兰 王和 以色列 王攻击我，求你来救我脱离他们的手。」
7And Achaz sent messengers to Theglathphalasar king of the Assyrians, saying: I am thy servant, and thy son: come up, and save me out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, who are risen up together against me.
8亚哈斯 将耶和华殿里和王宫府库里所有的金银都送给 亚述 王为礼物。
8And when he had gathered together the silver and gold that could be found in the house of the Lord, and in the king’s treasures, he sent it for a present to the king of the Assyrians.
9亚述 王应允了他，就上去攻打 大马士革 ，将城攻取，杀了 利汛 ，把 居民 掳到 吉珥 。
9And he agreed to his desire: for the king of the Assyrians went up against Damascus, and laid it waste: and he carried away the inhabitants thereof to Cyrene, but Basin he slew.
10亚哈斯 王上 大马士革 去迎接 亚述 王 提革拉·毗列色 ，在 大马士革 看见一座坛，就照坛的规模样式作法 画了图样 ，送到祭司 乌利亚 那里。
10And king Achaz went to Damascus to meet Theglathphalasar king of the Assyrians, and when he had seen the altar of Damascus, king Achaz sent to Urias the priest a pattern of it, and its likeness according to all the work thereof.
11祭司 乌利亚 照着 亚哈斯 王从 大马士革 送来的图样，在 亚哈斯 王没有从 大马士革 回来之先，建筑一座坛。
11And Urias the priest built an altar according to all that king Achaz had commanded from Damascus, so did Urias the priest, until king Achaz came from Damascus.
12王从 大马士革 回来看见坛，就近前来，在坛上献祭；
12And when the king was come from Damascus, he saw the altar and worshipped it: and went up and offered holocausts, and his own sacrifice.
13烧燔祭、素祭、浇奠祭，将平安祭牲的血洒在坛上，
13And offered libations and poured the blood of the peace offerings, which he had offered upon the altar.
14又将耶和华面前的铜坛从耶和华殿和 新 坛的中间搬到 新 坛的北边。
14But the altar of brass that was before the Lord, he removed from the face of the temple, and from the place of the altar, and from the place of the temple of the Lord: and he set it at the side of the altar toward the north.
15亚哈斯 王吩咐祭司 乌利亚 说：「早晨的燔祭、晚上的素祭，王的燔祭、素祭，国内众民的燔祭、素祭、奠祭都要烧在大坛上。燔祭牲和 平安 祭牲的血也要洒在这坛上，只是铜坛我要用以求问 耶和华 。」
15And king Achaz commanded Urias the priest saying: Upon the great altar offer the morning holocaust, and the evening sacrifice, and the king’s holocaust, and his sacrifice, and the holocaust of the whole people of the land, and their sacrifices, and their libations: and all the blood of the holocaust, and all the blood of the victim thou shalt pour out upon it: but the altar of brass shall be ready at my pleasure.
16祭司 乌利亚 就照着 亚哈斯 王所吩咐的行了。
16So Urias the priest did according to all that king Achaz had commanded him.
17亚哈斯 王打掉盆座 四面镶着 的心子，把盆从座上挪下来，又将铜海从驮海的铜牛上搬下来，放在铺石地；
17And king Achaz took away the graven bases, and the laver that was upon them: and he took down the sea from the brazen oxen that held it up, and put it upon a pavement of stone.
18又因 亚述 王的缘故，将耶和华殿为安息日所盖的廊子和王从外入殿的廊子挪移，围绕耶和华的殿。
18The Musach also for the sabbath, which he had built in the temple: and the king’s entry from without he turned into the temple of the Lord, because of the king of the Assyrians.
19亚哈斯 其余所行的事都写在 犹大 列王记上。
19Now the rest of the acts of Achaz, which he did, are they not written in the book of the words of the days of the kings of Juda?
20亚哈斯 与他列祖同睡，葬在 大卫城 他列祖的坟地里。他儿子 希西家 接续他作王。
20And Achaz slept with his fathers, and was buried with them in the city of David, and Ezechias his son reigned in his stead.
