1所罗门 王在法老的女儿之外，又宠爱许多外邦女子，就是 摩押 女子、 亚扪 女子、 以东 女子、 西顿 女子、 赫 人女子。
1And king Solomon loved many strange women besides the daughter of Pharao, and women of Moab, and of Ammon, and of Edom, and of Sidon, and of the Hethites:
2论到这些国的人，耶和华曾晓谕 以色列 人说：「你们不可与她们往来相通，因为她们必诱惑你们的心去随从她们的神。」 所罗门 却恋爱这些女子。
2Of the nations concerning which the Lord said to the children of Israel: You shall not go in unto them, neither shall any of them come in to yours: for they will most certainly turn away your heart to follow their gods. And to these was Solomon joined with a most ardent love.
3所罗门 有妃七百，都是公主；还有嫔三百。这些妃嫔诱惑他的心。
3And he had seven hundred wives as queens, and three hundred concubines: and the women turned away his heart.
4所罗门 年老的时候，他的妃嫔诱惑他的心去随从别神，不效法他父亲 大卫 诚诚实实地顺服耶和华—他的 神。
4And when he was now old, his heart was turned away by women to follow strange gods: and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as was the heart of David his father.
5因为 所罗门 随从 西顿 人的女神 亚斯她录 和 亚扪 人可憎的神 米勒公 。
5But Solomon worshipped Astarthe the goddess of the Sidonians, and Moloch the idol of the ammonites.
6所罗门 行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，不效法他父亲 大卫 专心顺从耶和华。
6And Solomon did that which was net pleasing before the Lord, and did not fully follow the Lord, as David his father.
7所罗门 为 摩押 可憎的神 基抹 和 亚扪 人可憎的神 摩洛 ，在 耶路撒冷 对面的山上建筑邱 坛 。
7Then Solomon built a temple for Chamos the idol of Moab, on the hill that is over against Jerusalem, and for Moloch the idol of the children of Ammon.
8他为那些向自己的神烧香献祭的外邦女子，就是他娶来的妃嫔也是这样行。
8And he did in this manner for all his wives that were strangers, who burnt incense, and offered sacrifice to their gods.
9耶和华向 所罗门 发怒，因为他的心偏离向他两次显现的耶和华— 以色列 的 神。
9And the Lord was angry with Solomon, because his mind was turned away from the Lord the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice,
10耶和华曾吩咐他不可随从别神，他却没有遵守耶和华所吩咐的。
10And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not follow strange gods: but he kept not the things which the Lord commanded him.
11所以耶和华对他说：「你既行了这事，不遵守我所吩咐你守的约和律例，我必将你的国夺回，赐给你的臣子。
11The Lord therefore said to Solomon: Because thou hast done this, and hast not kept my covenant, and my precepts, which I have commanded thee, I will divide and rend thy kingdom, and will give it to thy servant.
12然而，因你父亲 大卫 的缘故，我不在你活着的日子行这事，必从你儿子的手中将国夺回。
12Nevertheless in thy days I will not do it, for David thy father’s sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.
13只是我不将全国夺回，要因我仆人 大卫 和我所选择的 耶路撒冷 ，还留一支派给你的儿子。」
13Neither will I take away the whole kingdom, but I will give one tribe to thy son for the sake of David my servant, and Jerusalem which I have chosen.
14耶和华使 以东 人 哈达 兴起，作 所罗门 的敌人；他是 以东 王的后裔。
14And the Lord raised up an adversary to Solomon, Adad the Edomite of the king’s seed, in Edom.
15先前 大卫 攻击 以东 ，元帅 约押 上去葬埋阵亡的人，将 以东 的男丁都杀了。
15For when David was in Edom, and Joab the general of the army was gone up to bury them that were slain, and had killed every male in Edom,
16约押 和 以色列 众人在 以东 住了六个月，直到将 以东 的男丁尽都剪除。
16(For Joab remained there six months with all Israel, till he had slain every male in Edom,)
17那时 哈达 还是幼童；他和他父亲的臣仆，几个 以东 人逃往 埃及 。
17Then Adad fled, he and certain Edomites, of his father’s servants with him, to go into Egypt: and Adad was then a little boy.
18他们从 米甸 起行，到了 巴兰 ；从 巴兰 带着几个人来到 埃及 见 埃及 王法老；法老为他派定粮食，又给他房屋田地。
18And they arose out of Madian, and came into Pharan, and they took men with them from Pharan, and went into Egypt to Pharao the king of Egypt: who gave him a house, and appointed him victuals, and assigned him land.
19哈达 在法老面前大蒙恩惠，以致法老将王后 答比匿 的妹子赐他为妻。
19And Adad found great favour before Pharao, insomuch that he gave him to wife, the own sister of his wife Taphnes the queen.
20答比匿 的妹子给 哈达 生了一个儿子，名叫 基努拔 。 答比匿 使 基努拔 在法老的宫里断奶， 基努拔 就与法老的众子一同住在法老的宫里。
20And the sister of Taphnes bore him his son Genubath, and Taphnes brought him up in the house of Pharao: and Genubath dwelt with Pharao among his children.
21哈达 在 埃及 听见 大卫 与他列祖同睡，元帅 约押 也死了，就对法老说：「求王容我回本国去。」
21And when Adad heard in Egypt that David slept with his fathers, and that Joab the general of the army was dead, he said to Pharao: Let me depart, that I may go to my own country.
22法老对他说：「你在我这里有什么缺乏，你竟要回你本国去呢？」他回答说：「我没有缺乏什么，只是求王容我回去。」
22And Pharao said to him: Why, what is wanting to thee with me, that thou seekest to go to thy own country? But he answered: Nothing: yet I beseech thee to let me go.
23神又使 以利亚大 的儿子 利逊 兴起，作 所罗门 的敌人。他先前逃避主人 琐巴 王 哈大底谢 。
23God also raised up against him an adversary, Razon the son of Eliada, who had fled from his master Adarezer the king of Soba:
24大卫 击杀 琐巴 人的时候， 利逊 招聚了一群人，自己作他们的头目，往 大马士革 居住，在那里作王。
24And he gathered men against him, and he became a captain of robbers, when David slew them of Soba: and they went to Damascus, and dwelt there, and they made him king in Damascus.
25所罗门 活着的时候， 哈达 为患之外， 利逊 也作 以色列 的敌人。他恨恶 以色列 人，且作了 亚兰 人的王。
25And he was an adversary to Israel, all the days of Solomon: and this is the evil of Adad, and his hatred against Israel, and he reigned in Syria.
26所罗门 的臣仆、 尼八 的儿子 耶罗波安 也举手攻击王。他是 以法莲 支派的 洗利达 人，他母亲是寡妇，名叫 洗鲁阿 。
26Jeroboam also the son of Nabat an Ephrathite of Sareda, a servant of Solomon, whose mother was named Sarua, a widow woman, lifted up his hand against the king.
27他举手攻击王的缘故，乃由先前 所罗门 建造 米罗 ，修补他父亲 大卫城 的破口。
27And this is the cause of his rebellion against him, for Solomon built Mello, and filled up the breach of the city of David his father.
28耶罗波安 是大有才能的人。 所罗门 见这少年人殷勤，就派他监管 约瑟 家的一切工程。
28And Jeroboam was a valiant and mighty man: and Solomon seeing him a young man ingenious and industrious, made him chief over the tributes of all the house of Joseph.
29一日， 耶罗波安 出了 耶路撒冷 ， 示罗 人先知 亚希雅 在路上遇见他； 亚希雅 身上穿着一件新衣。他们二人在田野，以外并无别人。
29So it came to paste at that time, that Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, and the prophet Ahias the Silonite, clad with a new garment, found him in the way: and they two were alone in the held.
30亚希雅 将自己穿的那件新衣撕成十二片，
30And Ahias taking his new garment, wherewith he was clad, divided it into twelve parts:
31对 耶罗波安 说：「你可以拿十片。耶和华— 以色列 的 神如此说：『我必将国从 所罗门 手里夺回，将十个支派赐给你。（
31And he said to Jeroboam: Take to thee ten pieces: for thus saith the Lord the God of Israel: Behold I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give thee ten tribes.
32我因仆人 大卫 和我在 以色列 众支派中所选择的 耶路撒冷 城的缘故，仍给 所罗门 留一个支派。）
32But one tribe shall remain to him for the sake of my servant David, and Jerusalem the city, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:
33因为他离弃我，敬拜 西顿 人的女神 亚斯她录 、 摩押 的神 基抹 ，和 亚扪 人的神 米勒公 ，没有遵从我的道，行我眼中看为正的事， 守 我的律例典章，像他父亲 大卫 一样。
33Because he hath forsaken me, and hath adored Astarthe the goddess of the Sidonians, and Chamos the god of Moab, and Moloch the god of the children of Ammon: and hath not walked in my ways, to do justice before me, and to keep my precepts, and judgments as did David his father.
34但我不从他手里将全国夺回；使他终身为君，是因我所拣选的仆人 大卫 谨守我的诫命律例。
34Yet I will not take away all the kingdom out of his hand, but I will make him prince all the days of his life, for David my servant’s sake, whom I chose, who kept my commandments and my precepts.
35我必从他儿子的手里将国夺回，以十个支派赐给你，
35But I will take away the kingdom out of his son’s hand and will give thee ten tribes:
36还留一个支派给他的儿子，使我仆人 大卫 在我所选择立我名的 耶路撒冷 城里，在我面前长有灯光。
36And to his son I will give one tribe, that there may remain a lamp for my servant David before me always in Jerusalem the city which I have chosen, that my name might be there.
37我必拣选你，使你照心里一切所愿的，作王治理 以色列 。
37And I will take thee, and thou shalt reign over all that thy soul desireth, and thou shalt be king over Israel.
38你若听从我一切所吩咐你的，遵行我的道，行我眼中看为正的事，谨守我的律例诫命，像我仆人 大卫 所行的，我就与你同在，为你立坚固的家，像我为 大卫 所立的一样，将 以色列 人赐给你。
38If then thou wilt hearken to all that I shall command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do what is right before me, keeping my commandments and my precepts, as David my servant did: I will be with thee, and will build thee up a faithful house, as I built a house for David, and I will deliver Israel to thee:
39我必因 所罗门 所行的使 大卫 后裔受患难，但不至于永远。』」
39And I will for this afflict the seed of David, but yet not for ever.
40所罗门 因此想要杀 耶罗波安 。 耶罗波安 却起身逃往 埃及 ；到了 埃及 王 示撒 那里，就住在 埃及 ，直到 所罗门 死了。
40Solomon therefore sought to kill Jeroboam: but he arose, and fled into Egypt to Sesac the king of Egypt, and was in Egypt till the death of Solomon.
41所罗门 其余的事，凡他所行的和他的智慧都写在 所罗门 记上。
41And the rest of the words of Solomon, and all that he did, and his wisdom: behold they are all written in the book of the words of the days of Solomon.
42所罗门 在 耶路撒冷 作 以色列 众人的王共四十年。
42And the days that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel, were forty years.
43所罗门 与他列祖同睡，葬在他父亲 大卫 的城里。他儿子 罗波安 接续他作王。
43And Solomon slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David his father, and Roboam his son reigned in his stead.
