1Angraeng mah Job khaeah,
1Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said:
2thacak Angraeng mah thuitaek ih kami loe lok angaek vop tih maw? Sithaw kasaethui kami mah pathim nasoe, tiah a naa.
2Shall he that reproveth contend with the Almighty? He that argueth with God, let him answer it.
3To naah Job mah, Angraeng khaeah,
3Then Job answered the LORD, and said:
4Khenah, kai loe tidoeh avang ai kami ah ka oh; kawbangmaw nang kang pathim thai tih? Ka ban hoiah pakha ka tamuep khoep han boeh.
4Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer Thee? I lay my hand upon my mouth.
5Lok vaito ka thuih, toe ka pathim mak ai: ue, vai hnetto ka thuih moeng boeh; toe ka thui let mak ai boeh.
5Once have I spoken, but I will not answer again; yea, twice, but I will proceed no further.
6To naah Angraeng mah takhi thung hoiah Job khaeah,
6Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:
7nongpa baktiah kaengkaeh to angzaeng ah; kang dueng ih lok hae na pathim ah.
7Gird up thy loins now like a man; I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto Me.
8Ka lokcaekhaih na phraek han maw? Na toeng thai hanah, kai zaehaih nang net han maw?
8Wilt thou even make void My judgment? Wilt thou condemn Me, that thou mayest be justified?
9Sithaw baktiah ban na tawnh maw? Anih baktiah khopazih tuen na tacawtsak thai maw?
9Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like Him?
10Na tacawtsak thaih nahaeloe, lensawkhaih hoi azathaih to angkhuk ah loe, lensawkhaih hoi kranghoihhaih hoiah amthoep ah.
10Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency, and array thyself with glory and beauty.
11Palung na phuihaih to pakhrawt ah; amoek kaminawk to khenh loe, pahnaem tathuk ah.
11Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath; and look upon every one that is proud, and abase him.
12Amoek kaminawk to khenh loe, ahnaemsak ah; kasae kaminawk to angmacae angdoethaih ahmuen ah atii ah.
12Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
13Nihcae to maiphu thungah nawnto aphum ah, nihcae ih mikhmai to khoving thungah khuk ah.
13Hide them in the dust together; bind their faces in the hidden place.
14To tiah na sak nahaeloe na bantang mah nangmah to pahlong thai tih, tiah ka thuih han, tiah a naa.
14Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.
15Nang hoi nawnto ka sak ih, Behemoth to khenah, anih loe maitaw baktiah qam to caak.
15Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
16Khenah, anih thacakhaih loe kaeng ah oh moe, a zok hin ah doeh thacakhaih to oh.
16Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the stays of his body.
17Anih ih tamai loe Sidar thing baktiah ahaek, a phaih thaquinawk loe nawnto angbok.
17He straineth his tail like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are knit together.
18Anih ih ahuhnawk loe sumboeng kamling baktiah oh moe, anih ih panakhuhnawk loe sum baktiah oh.
18His bones are as pipes of brass; his gristles are like bars of iron.
19Anih loe Sithaw mah sak ih hmuen thungah hmaloe koekah oh; toe anih sahkung mah anih to angmah ih sumsen hoiah hmang tih.
19He is the beginning of the ways of God; He only that made him can make His sword to approach unto him.
20Mae nuiah kapra moi loe anih ih rawkcaak ah oh, taw ih moinawk loe to ahmuen ah prat o boih.
20Surely the mountains bring him forth food, and all the beasts of the field play there.
21Anih loe kahoih tahlip thingkung tlim ah tabok moe, tangnong ohhaih ahmuen ah kamprawk akung tlim ah anghawk.
21He lieth under the lotus-trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
22To thingkung tahlip mah anih to khuk moe, vacong ah kamprawk akungnawk mah anih to takui o khoep.
22The lotus-trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
23Khenah, anih loe kalen tuipui to tiah doeh sah ai; Jordan vapui anih ih pakha khoek to pha aep to mah angoephaih to a tawnh.
23Behold, if a river overflow, he trembleth not; he is confident, though the Jordan rush forth to his mouth.
24Anih to naeh thai tih maw? Thaang pongah amansak ueloe, a hnah to daw pae thai tih maw?
24Shall any take him by his eyes, or pierce through his nose with a snare?
