1To naah Shud acaeng Bildad mah,
1Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,
2Sithaw loe ukhaih, khingyahaih hoiah koi; anih ohhaih hmuensang ah loe monghaih to ohsak.
2“Dominion and fear are with him. He makes peace in his high places.
3Mi mah maw anih ih misatuh kaminawk to kroek thai tih? Anih aanghaih mah toeh ai ih mi maw kaom?
3Can his armies be counted? On whom does his light not arise?
4To tiah om nahaeloe kami loe kawbangmaw Sithaw hmaa ah toeng thai ueloe, kawbangmaw nongpata mah tapen ih kami loe ciim thai tih?
4How then can man be just with God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be clean?
5Khenah, khrah doeh aang ai; cakaehnawk mataeng doeh anih hmaa ah ciim o ai nahaeloe,
5Behold, even the moon has no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight;
6alungh ah kaom kami, sadong ah kaom, kami capa cae loe, kawkruk maw tidoeh athum ai ah om tih? tiah a naa.
6How much less man, who is a worm, and the son of man, who is a worm!”
