1In God alone my soul finds rest; my salvation comes from Him.

1Ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυΐδ ἐν τῷ εἶναι αὐτὸν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τῆς Ἰουδαίας.

2He alone is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress; I will never be shaken.

2Ο ΘΕΟΣ ὁ Θεός μου, πρὸς σὲ ὀρθρίζω· ἐδίψησέ σε ἡ ψυχή μου, ποσαπλῶς σοι ἡ σάρξ μου ἐν γῇ ἐρήμῳ καὶ ἀβάτῳ καὶ ἀνύδρῳ.

3How long will you threaten a man? Will all of you throw him down like a leaning wall or a tottering fence?

3οὕτως ἐν τῷ ἁγίῳ ὤφθην σοι τοῦ ἰδεῖν τὴν δύναμίν σου καὶ τὴν δόξαν σου.

4They fully intend to cast him down from his lofty perch; they delight in lies; with their mouths they bless, but inwardly they curse. Selah

4ὅτι κρεῖσσον τὸ ἔλεός σου ὑπὲρ ζωάς· τὰ χείλη μου ἐπαινέσουσί σε.

5Rest in God alone, O my soul, for my hope comes from Him.

5οὕτως εὐλογήσω σε ἐν τῇ ζωῇ μου καὶ ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί σου ἀρῶ τὰς χεῖράς μου.

6He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress; I will not be shaken.

6ὡς ἐκ στέατος καὶ πιότητος ἐμπλησθείη ἡ ψυχή μου, καὶ χείλη ἀγαλλιάσεως αἰνέσει τὸ στόμα μου.

7My salvation and my honor rest on God, my strong rock; my refuge is in God.

7εἰ ἐμνημόνευόν σου ἐπὶ τῆς στρωμνῆς μου, ἐν τοῖς ὄρθροις ἐμελέτων εἰς σέ·

8Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge. Selah

8ὅτι ἐγενήθης βοηθός μου, καὶ ἐν τῇ σκέπῃ τῶν πτερύγων σου ἀγαλλιάσομαι.

9Lowborn men are but a vapor, the exalted but a lie. Weighed on the scale, they go up; together they are but a vapor.

9ἐκολλήθη ἡ ψυχή μου ὀπίσω σου, ἐμοῦ δὲ ἀντελάβετο ἡ δεξιά σου.

10Place no trust in extortion, or false hope in stolen goods. If your riches increase, do not set your heart upon them.

10αὐτοὶ δὲ εἰς μάτην ἐζήτησαν τὴν ψυχήν μου, εἰσελεύσονται εἰς τὰ κατώτατα τῆς γῆς·

11God has spoken once; I have heard this twice: that power belongs to God,

11παραδοθήσονται εἰς χεῖρας ρομφαίας, μερίδες ἀλωπέκων ἔσονται.

12and loving devotion to You, O Lord. For You will repay each man according to his deeds.

12ὁ δὲ βασιλεὺς εὐφρανθήσεται ἐπὶ τῷ Θεῷ, ἐπαινεθήσεται πᾶς ὁ ὀμνύων ἐν αὐτῷ, ὅτι ἐνεφράγη στόμα λαλούντων ἄδικα.
