8The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

9The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabta, Raamah, and Sabteca. The sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.

10Cush was the father of Nimrod, who began to be a mighty one on the earth.
10καὶ Χοὺς ἐγέννησε τὸν Νεβρώδ· οὗτος ἤρξατο εἶναι γίγας κυνηγὸς ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.
11Mizraim was the father of the Ludites, the Anamites, the Lehabites, the Naphtuhites,

12the Pathrusites, the Casluhites (from whom the Philistines came), and the Caphtorites.

13And Canaan was the father of Sidon his firstborn, and of the Hittites,

14the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites,

16the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites.

17The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram. The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether, and Meshech.
17υἱοὶ Σήμ· Αἰλὰμ καὶ Ἀσσοὺδ καὶ Ἀρφαξάδ.
18Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah was the father of Eber.
18[Καὶ Ἀρφαξὰδ ἐγέννησε τὸν Καϊνᾶν, καὶ Καϊνᾶν ἐγέννησε τὸν Σαλά, καὶ Σαλὰ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἐβέρ,
19Two sons were born to Eber: One was named Peleg, because in his days the earth was divided, and his brother was named Joktan.
19καὶ τῷ Ἐβὲρ ἐγεννήθησαν δύο υἱοί· ὄνομα τῷ ἑνὶ Φαλέκ, ὅτι ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις αὐτοῦ διεμερίσθη ἡ γῆ, καὶ ὄνομα τῷ ἀδελφῷ αὐτοῦ Ἰεκτάν.
20And Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
20καὶ Ἰεκτὰν ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἐλμωδὰδ καὶ τὸν Σαλὲφ καὶ τὸν Ἀραμὼθ
21Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
21καὶ τὸν Κεδουρὰν καὶ τὸν Αἰγὴν καὶ τὸν Δεκλὰμ
22Obal, Abimael, Sheba,
22καὶ τὸν Γεμιὰν καὶ τὸν Ἀβιμέκλ καὶ τὸν Σαβὰν
23Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were sons of Joktan.
23καὶ τὸν Οὐφεὶρ καὶ τὸν Εὐὶ καὶ τὸν Ὠράμ· πάντες οὗτοι υἱοὶ Ἰεκτάν.
24So from Shem came Arphaxad, Shelah,
24υἱοὶ Σήμ· Αἰλὰμ καὶ Ἀσοὺρ καὶ Ἀρφαξάδ.] Σαλά,
25Eber, Peleg, Reu,
25Ἔβερ, Φαλέγ, Ραγαῦ,
26Serug, Nahor, Terah,

27and Abram (that is, Abraham).

28The sons of Abraham were Isaac and Ishmael.
28υἱοὶ δὲ Ἁβραάμ· Ἰσαὰκ καὶ Ἰσμαήλ.
29These are their genealogies: Nebaioth the firstborn of Ishmael, then Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
29αὗται δὲ αἱ γενέσεις πρωτοτόκου Ἰσμαήλ· Ναβαιὼθ καὶ Κηδάρ, Ναβδεήλ, Μαβσάμ,
30Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema,
30Μασμά, Ἰδουμά, Μασσή, Χονδάν, Θαιμάν,
31Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These were the sons of Ishmael.
31Ἰεττούρ, Ναφὲς καὶ Κεδμά. οὗτοί εἰσιν υἱοὶ Ἰσμαήλ.
32The sons born to Keturah, Abraham’s concubine: Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. The sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.
32καὶ υἱοὶ Χεττούρας παλλακῆς Ἁβραάμ· καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Ζεμβράμ, Ἰεξάν, Μαδιάμ, Μαδάμ, Σοβάκ, Σωέ. καὶ υἱοὶ Ἰεξάν· Δαιδὰν καὶ Σαβά.
33The sons of Midian: Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All of these were Keturah’s sons.
33καὶ υἱοὶ Μαδιάμ· Γαιφὰρ καὶ Ὀφὲρ καὶ Ἐνὼχ καὶ Ἀβιδὰ καὶ Ἐλλαδά. πάντες οὗτοι υἱοὶ Χεττούρας.
34Abraham was the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.
34καὶ ἐγέννησεν Ἁβραὰμ τὸν Ἰσαάκ. καὶ υἱοὶ Ἰσαάκ· Ἰακὼβ καὶ Ἡσαῦ.
35The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.
35υἱοὶ Ἡσαῦ· Ἐλιφὰζ καὶ Ραγουὴλ καὶ Ἰεοὺλ καὶ Ἰεγλὸμ καὶ Κορέ.
36The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, and Kenaz; and by Timna, Amalek.
36υἱοὶ Ἐλιφάζ· Θαιμὰν καὶ Ὠμάρ, Σωφὰρ καὶ Γοωθὰμ καὶ Κενὲζ καὶ τῆς Θαμνὰ Ἀμαλήκ.
37The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
37καὶ υἱοὶ Ραγουήλ· Ναχές, Ζαρέ, Σομὲ καὶ Μοζέ.
38The sons of Seir: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan.
38υἱοὶ Σηΐρ· Λωτάν, Σωβάλ, Σεβεγών, Ἀνά, Δησών, Ὡσὰρ καὶ Λισάν.
39The sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam. Timna was Lotan’s sister.
39καὶ υἱοὶ Λωτάν· Χορρὶ καὶ Αἰμάν, ἀδελφὴ δὲ Λωτὰν Θαμνά.
40The sons of Shobal: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam. The sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah.
40υἱοὶ Σωβάλ· Γωλάμ, Μαναχάθ, Γαιβήλ, Σὼβ καὶ Ὠνάν. υἱοὶ δὲ Σεβεγών· Ἀϊὰ καὶ Ἀνά.
41The son of Anah: Dishon. The sons of Dishon: Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.
41υἱοὶ Ἀνά· Δαισών. υἱοὶ δὲ Δαισών· Ἐμερὼν καὶ Ἐσεβὰν καὶ Ἰεθρὰν καὶ Χαρράν.
42The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan. The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
42καὶ υἱοὶ Ὡσάρ· Βαλαὰμ καὶ Ζουκὰμ καὶ Ἰωκάν. υἱοὶ Δαισάν· Ὢς καὶ Ἀράν.
43These are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the Israelites: Bela son of Beor. His city was named Dinhabah.
43καὶ οὗτοι οἱ βασιλεῖς αὐτῶν· Βαλὰκ υἱὸς Βεώρ, καὶ ὄνομα τῇ πόλει αὐτοῦ Δενναβά.
44When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah reigned in his place.
44καὶ ἀπέθανε Βαλάκ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ᾿ αὐτοῦ Ἰωβὰβ υἱὸς Ζαρὰ ἐκ Βοσόρρας.
45When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.
45καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ἰωβάβ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ᾿ αὐτοῦ Ἀσὸμ ἐκ γῆς Θαιμανών.
46When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the country of Moab, reigned in his place. And the name of his city was Avith.
46καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ἀσόμ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ᾿ αὐτοῦ Ἀδὰδ υἱὸς Βαρὰδ ὁ πατάξας Μαδιὰμ ἐν τῷ πεδίῳ Μωάβ, καὶ ὄνομα τῇ πόλει αὐτοῦ Γεθθαίμ.
47When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah reigned in his place.
47καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ἀδάδ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ᾿ αὐτοῦ Σεβλὰ ἐκ Μασεκκᾶς.
48When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the Euphrates reigned in his place.
48καὶ ἀπέθανε Σεβλά, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ' αὐτοῦ Σαοὺλ ἐκ Ροωβὼθ τῆς παρὰ ποταμόν.
49When Shaul died, Baal-hanan son of Achbor reigned in his place.
49καὶ ἀπέθανε Σαούλ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ᾿ αὐτοῦ Βαλαεννὼρ υἱὸς Ἀχοβώρ.
50When Baal-hanan died, Hadad reigned in his place. His city was named Pau, and his wife’s name was Mehetabel daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
50καὶ ἀπέθανε Βαλαεννώρ, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ᾿ αὐτοῦ Ἀδὰδ υἱὸς Βαράδ, καὶ ὄνομα τῇ πόλει αὐτοῦ Φογώρ.
51Then Hadad died. Now the chiefs of Edom were Timna, Alvah, Jetheth,
51ἡγεμόνες Ἐδώμ· ἡγεμὼν Θαμνά, ἡγεμὼν Γωλαδά, ἡγεμὼν Ἰεθέρ,
52Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon,
52ἡγεμὼν Ἐλιβαμάς, ἡγεμὼν Ἠλάς, ἡγεμὼν Φινών,
53Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar,
53ἡγεμὼν Κενέζ, ἡγεμὼν Θαιμάν, ἡγεμὼν Μαβσάρ, ἡγεμὼν Μαγεδιήλ, ἡγεμὼν Ζαφωΐν. οὗτοι ἡγεμόνες Ἐδώμ.
54Magdiel, and Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom.
