1Vindicate me, God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Oh, deliver me from deceitful and wicked men.
1Aw Pathen kai n'tang sak lamtah hlangcim pawh namtu neh tuituknah te oelh lah. Hlangthai palat neh dumlai hlang kut lamloh kai n'hlawt lah.
2For you are the God of my strength. Why have you rejected me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
2Pathen namah ngawntah ka lunghim pai ni. Ba ham lae kai nan hlahpham? Thunkha kah haemtaek dongah ba ham lae kopang neh ka van eh?
3Oh, send out your light and your truth. Let them lead me. Let them bring me to your holy hill, to your tents.
3Na khosae neh na oltak te han tueih lah. Amih loh na tlang cim neh na tolhmuen la kai m'mawt saeh lamtah n'thak saeh.
4Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my exceeding joy. I will praise you on the harp, God, my God.
4Tedae Pathen kah hmueihtuk taengah khaw, Pathen taengah kohoenah neh omngaihnah la ka pha vaengah rhotoeng neh Pathen nang te kan uem bitni ka Pathen aw.
5Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him: my Savior, my helper, and my God.
5Aw ka hinglu badongah na ngam sut tih ka khuiah huenghueng na ko? Pathen te ngaiuep lah. Ka hmai kah khangnah neh ka Pathen amah te ka uem dae lah mako?
