Psalms 18

World English Bible
Baibal Olcim (Matupi Chin)
1I love you, LORD, my strength.
1Te dongah, “Kai kah ka thadueng, BOEIPA nang te kan haidam,” a ti.
2The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.
2BOEIPA tah ka thaelpang, ka rhalvong neh kai aka hlawt, ka Pathen, ka lungpang la om. Amah dongah ka ying tih ka photling, daemnah molsom, neh ka imsang la om.
3I call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; and I am saved from my enemies.
3Thang then ham aka koih BOEIPA te ka khue vaengah ka thunkha rhoek kut lamkah ka daem.
4The cords of death surrounded me. The floods of ungodliness made me afraid.
4Dueknah rhuihet loh kai n'yen tih aka muen soklong loh kai n'let sak.
5The cords of Sheol were around me. The snares of death came on me.
5Saelkhui kah rhuihet loh kai m'ven tih dueknah hlaeh loh kai m'mah.
6In my distress I called on the LORD, and cried to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple. My cry before him came into his ears.
6Ka kho a bing vaengah BOEIPA te ka khue tih ka Pathen taengah ka pang. A bawkim lamloh ka ol a yaak tih ka pang ol loh amah hmai neh a hna khuila a pha.
7Then the earth shook and trembled. The foundations also of the mountains quaked and were shaken, because he was angry.
7Te vaengah diklai tuen tih hinghuen. Amah taengah a sai dongah tlang yung rhoek khaw tlai uh tih tuen uh.
8Smoke went out of his nostrils. Consuming fire came out of his mouth. Coals were kindled by it.
8A hnarhong lamkah hmaikhu thoeng tih a ka lamkah hmai loh a laeh vaengah hmai-alh khaw tak.
9He bowed the heavens also, and came down. Thick darkness was under his feet.
9Te phoeiah vaan te a koiloep tih a suntlak vaengah yinnah tah a kho hmui la pawk.
10He rode on a cherub, and flew. Yes, he soared on the wings of the wind.
10Cherub dongah ngol bal tih a ding vaengah khohli phae soah ding hang.
11He made darkness his hiding place, his pavilion around him, darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
11Khohmuep te a kaepvai kah a hlipyingnah la, khomong khomai kah tamyin tui te a dungtlungim la a khueh.
12At the brightness before him his thick clouds passed, hailstones and coals of fire.
12Amah hmai kah a aa te a khomai khui lamkah rhael neh hmai alh la coe.
13The LORD also thundered in the sky. The Most High uttered his voice: hailstones and coals of fire.
13Te phoeiah BOEIPA tah vaan lamkah loh ha kawk tih Khohni loh a ol a huel vaengah rhael neh hmai alh la thoeng.
14He sent out his arrows, and scattered them. He routed them with great lightning bolts.
14A thaltang a kah tih amih te a taek a yaak. Rhaek neh a daeh tih amih te a khawkkhek.
15Then the channels of waters appeared. The foundations of the world were laid bare at your rebuke, LORD, at the blast of the breath of your nostrils.
15Na thintoek kah na hiil yilh neh BOEIPA nang kah tluungnah dongah sokca kah tui phoe tih lunglai khaw a yung hoep.
16He sent from on high. He took me. He drew me out of many waters.
