1This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar.
1犹大 王 西底家 第十年，就是 尼布甲尼撒 十八年，耶和华的话临到 耶利米 。
2Now at that time the king of Babylon’s army was besieging Jerusalem. Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the guard, which was in the king of Judah’s house.
2那时 巴比伦 王的军队围困 耶路撒冷 ，先知 耶利米 囚在护卫兵的院内，在 犹大 王的宫中；
3For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, “Why do you prophesy, and say, ‘The LORD says, “Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will take it;
3因为 犹大 王 西底家 已将他囚禁，说：「你为什么预言说，耶和华如此说：『我必将这城交在 巴比伦 王的手中，他必攻取这城。
4and Zedekiah king of Judah won’t escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but will surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and will speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes will see his eyes;
4犹大 王 西底家 必不能逃脱 迦勒底 人的手，定要交在 巴比伦 王的手中，要口对口彼此说话，眼对眼彼此相看。
5and he will bring Zedekiah to Babylon, and he will be there until I visit him,” says the LORD, “though you fight with the Chaldeans, you will not prosper”’?”
5巴比伦 王必将 西底家 带到 巴比伦 ； 西底家 必住在那里，直到我眷顾他的时候。你们虽与 迦勒底 人争战，却不顺利。这是耶和华说的。』」
6Jeremiah said, “The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
6耶利米 说：「耶和华的话临到我说：
7‘Behold, Hanamel the son of Shallum your uncle will come to you, saying, “Buy my field that is in Anathoth; for the right of redemption is yours to buy it.”’”
7『你叔叔 沙龙 的儿子 哈拿篾 必来见你，说：我在 亚拿突 的那块地，求你买来；因你买这地是合乎赎回之理。』」
8“So Hanamel my uncle’s son came to me in the court of the guard according to the LORD’s word, and said to me, ‘Please buy my field that is in Anathoth, which is in the land of Benjamin; for the right of inheritance is yours, and the redemption is yours. Buy it for yourself.’ “Then I knew that this was the LORD’s word.
8我叔叔的儿子 哈拿篾 果然照耶和华的话来到护卫兵的院内，对我说：「我在 便雅悯 境内、 亚拿突 的那块地，求你买来；因你买来是合乎承受之理，是你当赎的。你为自己买来吧！」我— 耶利米 就知道这是耶和华的话。
9I bought the field that was in Anathoth of Hanamel my uncle’s son, and weighed him the money, even seventeen shekels of silver.
9我便向我叔叔的儿子 哈拿篾 买了 亚拿突 的那块地，平了十七舍客勒银子给他。
10I signed the deed, sealed it, called witnesses, and weighed the money in the balances to him.
10我在契上画押，将契封缄，又请见证人来，并用天平将银子平给他。
11So I took the deed of the purchase, both that which was sealed, containing the terms and conditions, and that which was open;
11我便将 照 例 按 规 所立的 买契，就是封缄的那一张和敞着的那一张，
12and I delivered the deed of the purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, in the presence of Hanamel my uncle’s son, and in the presence of the witnesses who signed the deed of the purchase, before all the Jews who sat in the court of the guard.
12当着我叔叔的儿子 哈拿篾 和画押作见证的人，并坐在护卫兵院内的一切 犹大 人眼前，交给 玛西雅 的孙子 尼利亚 的儿子 巴录 。
13“I commanded Baruch before them, saying,
13当着他们众人眼前，我嘱咐 巴录 说：
14the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘Take these deeds, this deed of the purchase which is sealed, and this deed which is open, and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may last many days.’
14「万军之耶和华— 以色列 的 神如此说：要将这封缄的和敞着的两张契放在瓦器里，可以存留多日。
15For the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel says: ‘Houses and fields and vineyards will yet again be bought in this land.’
15因为万军之耶和华— 以色列 的 神如此说：将来在这地必有人再买房屋、田地，和葡萄园。」
16Now after I had delivered the deed of the purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed to the LORD, saying,
16我将买契交给 尼利亚 的儿子 巴录 以后，便祷告耶和华说：
17“Ah Lord GOD! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you.
17「主耶和华啊，你曾用大能和伸出来的膀臂创造天地，在你没有难成的事。
18You show loving kindness to thousands, and repay the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them. The great, the mighty God, the LORD of Armies is your name:
18你施慈爱与千万人，又将父亲的罪孽报应在他后世子孙的怀中，是至大全能的 神，万军之耶和华是你的名。
19great in counsel, and mighty in work; whose eyes are open to all the ways of the children of men, to give everyone according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings;
19谋事有大略，行事有大能，注目观看世人一切的举动，为要照各人所行的和他做事的结果报应他。
20who performed signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even to this day, both in Israel and among other men; and made yourself a name, as it is today;
20在 埃及 地显神迹奇事，直到今日在 以色列 和 别 人中间也是如此，使自己得了名声，正如今日一样。
21and brought your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, with wonders, with a strong hand, with an outstretched arm, and with great terror;

22and gave them this land, which you swore to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey.

23They came in and possessed it, but they didn’t obey your voice and didn’t walk in your law. They have done nothing of all that you commanded them to do. Therefore you have caused all this evil to come upon them.
23他们进入这地得了为业，却不听从你的话，也不遵行你的律法；你一切所吩咐他们行的，他们一无所行，因此你使这一切的灾祸临到他们。
24“Behold, siege ramps have been built against the city to take it. The city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans who fight against it, because of the sword, of the famine, and of the pestilence. What you have spoken has happened. Behold, you see it.
24看哪，敌人已经来到，筑垒要攻取这城；城也因刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫交在攻城的 迦勒底 人手中。你所说的话都成就了，你也看见了。
25You have said to me, Lord GOD, ‘Buy the field for money, and call witnesses;’ whereas the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.”
25主耶和华啊，你对我说：要用银子为自己买那块地，又请见证人。其实这城已交在 迦勒底 人的手中了。」
26Then the LORD’s word came to Jeremiah, saying,
26耶和华的话临到 耶利米 说：
27“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?
27「我是耶和华，是凡有血气者的 神，岂有我难成的事吗？
28Therefore the LORD says: Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will take it.
28耶和华如此说：我必将这城交付 迦勒底 人的手和 巴比伦 王 尼布甲尼撒 的手，他必攻取这城。
29The Chaldeans, who fight against this city, will come and set this city on fire, and burn it with the houses on whose roofs they have offered incense to Baal, and poured out drink offerings to other gods, to provoke me to anger.
29攻城的 迦勒底 人必来放火焚烧这城和其中的房屋。在这房屋上，人曾向 巴力 烧香，向别神浇奠，惹我发怒。
30“For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have done only that which was evil in my sight from their youth; for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, says the LORD.
30以色列 人和 犹大 人自从幼年以来，专行我眼中看为恶的事； 以色列 人尽以手所做的惹我发怒。这是耶和华说的。
31For this city has been to me a provocation of my anger and of my wrath from the day that they built it even to this day, so that I should remove it from before my face,
31这城自从建造的那日直到今日，常惹我的怒气和忿怒，使我将这城从我面前除掉；
32because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger—they, their kings, their princes, their priests, their prophets, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
32是因 以色列 人和 犹大 人一切的邪恶，就是他们和他们的君王、首领、祭司、先知，并 犹大 的众人，以及 耶路撒冷 的居民所行的，惹我发怒。
33They have turned their backs to me, and not their faces. Although I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not listened to receive instruction.
33他们以背向我，不以面向我；我虽从早起来教训他们，他们却不听从，不受教训，
34But they set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it.
34竟把可憎之物设立在称为我名下的殿中，污秽了这殿。
35They built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through fire to Molech, which I didn’t command them. It didn’t even come into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.”
35他们在 欣嫩子谷 建筑 巴力 的邱坛，好使自己的儿女经火归 摩洛 ；他们行这可憎的事，使 犹大 陷在罪里，这并不是我所吩咐的，也不是我心所起的意。」
36Now therefore the LORD, the God of Israel, says concerning this city, about which you say, “It is given into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence:”
36现在论到这城，就是你们所说、已经因刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫交在 巴比伦 王手中的，耶和华— 以色列 的 神如此说：
37“Behold, I will gather them out of all the countries where I have driven them in my anger, and in my wrath, and in great indignation; and I will bring them again to this place. I will cause them to dwell safely.
37「我在怒气、忿怒，和大恼恨中，将 以色列 人赶到各国。日后我必从那里将他们招聚出来，领他们回到此地，使他们安然居住。
38Then they will be my people, and I will be their God.
38他们要作我的子民，我要作他们的 神。
39I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their good and the good of their children after them.
39我要使他们彼此同心同道，好叫他们永远敬畏我，使他们和他们后世的子孙得福乐，
40I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good. I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.
40又要与他们立永远的约，必随着他们施恩，并不离开他们，且使他们有敬畏我的心，不离开我。
41Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.”
41我必欢喜施恩与他们，要尽心尽意、诚诚实实将他们栽于此地。
42For the LORD says: “Just as I have brought all this great evil on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them.
42「因为耶和华如此说：我怎样使这一切大祸临到这百姓，我也要照样使我所应许他们的一切福乐都临到他们。
43Fields will be bought in this land, about which you say, ‘It is desolate, without man or animal. It is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.’
43你们说，这地是荒凉、无人民、无牲畜，是交付 迦勒底 人手之地。日后在这境内，必有人置买田地。
44Men will buy fields for money, sign the deeds, seal them, and call witnesses, in the land of Benjamin, and in the places around Jerusalem, in the cities of Judah, in the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the lowland, and in the cities of the South; for I will cause their captivity to be reversed,” says the LORD.
44在 便雅悯 地、 耶路撒冷 四围的各处、 犹大 的城邑、山地的城邑、高原的城邑，并南地的城邑，人必用银子买田地，在契上画押，将契封缄，请出见证人，因为我必使被掳的人归回。这是耶和华说的。」
