1The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews who lived in the land of Egypt, who lived at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and at Memphis, and in the country of Pathros, saying,
1有临到 耶利米 的话，论及一切住在 埃及 地的 犹大 人，就是住在 密夺 、 答比匿 、 挪弗 、 巴忒罗 境内的 犹大 人，说：
2“The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘You have seen all the evil that I have brought on Jerusalem, and on all the cities of Judah. Behold, today they are a desolation, and no man dwells in them,
2「万军之耶和华— 以色列 的 神如此说：我所降与 耶路撒冷 和 犹大 各城的一切灾祸你们都看见了。那些城邑今日荒凉，无人居住；
3because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, to serve other gods that they didn’t know, neither they, nor you, nor your fathers.
3这是因居民所行的恶，去烧香事奉别神，就是他们和你们，并你们列祖所不认识的神，惹我发怒。
4However I sent to you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, “Oh, don’t do this abominable thing that I hate.”
4我从早起来差遣我的仆人众先知去说，你们切不要行我所厌恶这可憎之事。
5But they didn’t listen and didn’t incline their ear. They didn’t turn from their wickedness, to stop burning incense to other gods.
5他们却不听从，不侧耳而听，不转离恶事，仍向别神烧香。
6Therefore my wrath and my anger was poured out, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as it is today.’
6因此，我的怒气和忿怒都倒出来，在 犹大 城邑中和 耶路撒冷 的街市上， 如火 着起，以致都荒废凄凉，正如今日一样。
7“Therefore now the LORD, the God of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘Why do you commit great evil against your own souls, to cut off from yourselves man and woman, infant and nursing child out of the middle of Judah, to leave yourselves no one remaining,
7现在耶和华—万军之 神、 以色列 的 神如此说：你们为何作这大恶自害己命，使你们的男人、妇女、婴孩，和吃奶的都从 犹大 中剪除、不留一人呢？
8in that you provoke me to anger with the works of your hands, burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt where you have gone to live, that you may be cut off, and that you may be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?
8就是因你们手所做的，在所去寄居的 埃及 地向别神烧香惹我发怒，使你们被剪除，在天下万国中令人咒诅羞辱。
9Have you forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, the wickedness of the kings of Judah, the wickedness of their wives, your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives which they committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
9你们列祖的恶行， 犹大 列王和他们后妃的恶行，你们自己和你们妻子的恶行，就是在 犹大 地、 耶路撒冷 街上所行的，你们都忘了吗？
10They are not humbled even to this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.’
10到如今还没有懊悔，没有惧怕，没有遵行我在你们和你们列祖面前所设立的法度律例。
11“Therefore the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: ‘Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, even to cut off all Judah.
11「所以万军之耶和华— 以色列 的 神如此说：我必向你们变脸降灾，以致剪除 犹大 众人。
12I will take the remnant of Judah that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to live there, and they will all be consumed. They will fall in the land of Egypt. They will be consumed by the sword and by the famine. They will die, from the least even to the greatest, by the sword and by the famine. They will be an object of horror, an astonishment, a curse, and a reproach.
12那定意进入 埃及 地、在那里寄居的，就是所剩下的 犹大 人，我必使他们尽都灭绝，必在 埃及 地仆倒，必因刀剑饥荒灭绝；从最小的到至大的都必遭刀剑饥荒而死，以致令人辱骂、惊骇、咒诅、羞辱。
13For I will punish those who dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence;
13我怎样用刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫刑罚 耶路撒冷 ，也必照样刑罚那些住在 埃及 地的 犹大 人；
14so that none of the remnant of Judah, who have gone into the land of Egypt to live there, will escape or be left to return into the land of Judah, to which they have a desire to return to dwell there; for no one will return except those who will escape.’”
14甚至那进入 埃及 地寄居的，就是所剩下的 犹大 人，都不得逃脱，也不得存留归回 犹大 地。他们心中甚想归回居住之地；除了逃脱的以外，一个都不能归回。」
15Then all the men who knew that their wives burned incense to other gods, and all the women who stood by, a great assembly, even all the people who lived in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,
15那些住在 埃及 地 巴忒罗 知道自己妻子向别神烧香的，与旁边站立的众妇女，聚集成群，回答 耶利米 说：
16“As for the word that you have spoken to us in the LORD’s name, we will not listen to you.
16「论到你奉耶和华的名向我们所说的话，我们必不听从。
17But we will certainly perform every word that has gone out of our mouth, to burn incense to the queen of the sky and to pour out drink offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings and our princes, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; for then we had plenty of food, and were well, and saw no evil.
17我们定要成就我们口中所出的一切话，向天后烧香、浇奠祭，按着我们与我们列祖、君王、首领在 犹大 的城邑中和 耶路撒冷 的街市上素常所行的一样；因为那时我们吃饱饭、享福乐，并不见灾祸。
18But since we stopped burning incense to the queen of the sky, and pouring out drink offerings to her, we have lacked all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.”
18自从我们停止向天后烧香、浇奠祭，我们倒缺乏一切，又因刀剑饥荒灭绝。」
19The women said, “When we burned incense to the queen of the sky and poured out drink offerings to her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings to her, without our husbands?”
19妇女说：「我们向天后烧香、浇奠祭，做天后像的饼供奉她，向她浇奠祭，是外乎我们的丈夫吗？」
20Then Jeremiah said to all the people—to the men and to the women, even to all the people who had given him an answer, saying,
20耶利米 对一切那样回答他的男人妇女说：
21“The incense that you burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, you and your fathers, your kings and your princes, and the people of the land, didn’t the LORD remember them, and didn’t it come into his mind?
21「你们与你们列祖、君王、首领，并国内的百姓，在 犹大 城邑中和 耶路撒冷 街市上所烧的香，耶和华岂不记念，心中岂不思想吗？
22Thus the LORD could no longer bear it, because of the evil of your doings and because of the abominations which you have committed. Therefore your land has become a desolation, an astonishment, and a curse, without inhabitant, as it is today.
22耶和华因你们所作的恶、所行可憎的事，不能再容忍，所以你们的地荒凉，令人惊骇咒诅，无人居住，正如今日一样。
23Because you have burned incense and because you have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the LORD’s voice, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil has happened to you, as it is today.”
23你们烧香，得罪耶和华，没有听从他的话，没有遵行他的律法、条例、法度，所以你们遭遇这灾祸，正如今日一样。」
24Moreover Jeremiah said to all the people, including all the women, “Hear the LORD’s word, all Judah who are in the land of Egypt!
24耶利米 又对众民和众妇女说：「你们在 埃及 地的一切 犹大 人当听耶和华的话。
25The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says, ‘You and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and with your hands have fulfilled it, saying, “We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of the sky, and to pour out drink offerings to her.” “‘Establish then your vows, and perform your vows.’
25万军之耶和华— 以色列 的 神如此说：你们和你们的妻都口中说、手里做，说：『我们定要偿还所许的愿，向天后烧香、浇奠祭。』现在你们只管坚定所许的愿而偿还吧！
26“Therefore hear the LORD’s word, all Judah who dwell in the land of Egypt: ‘Behold, I have sworn by my great name,’ says the LORD, ‘that my name will no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, “As the Lord GOD lives.”
26所以你们住在 埃及 地的一切 犹大 人当听耶和华的话。耶和华说：我指着我的大名起誓，在 埃及 全地，我的名不再被 犹大 一个人的口称呼说：『我指着主—永生的耶和华起誓。』
27Behold, I watch over them for evil, and not for good; and all the men of Judah who are in the land of Egypt will be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until they are all gone.
27我向他们留意降祸不降福；在 埃及 地的一切 犹大 人必因刀剑、饥荒所灭，直到灭尽。
28Those who escape the sword will return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah few in number. All the remnant of Judah, who have gone into the land of Egypt to live there, will know whose word will stand, mine or theirs.
28脱离刀剑、从 埃及 地归回 犹大 地的人数很少；那进入 埃及 地要在那里寄居的，就是所剩下的 犹大 人，必知道是谁的话立得住，是我的话呢？是他们的话呢？
29“‘This will be the sign to you,’ says the LORD, ‘that I will punish you in this place, that you may know that my words will surely stand against you for evil.’
29耶和华说：我在这地方刑罚你们，必有预兆，使你们知道我降祸与你们的话必要立得住。
30The LORD says, ‘Behold, I will give Pharaoh Hophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies and into the hand of those who seek his life, just as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, who was his enemy and sought his life.’”
30耶和华如此说：我必将 埃及 王法老 合弗拉 交在他仇敌和寻索其命的人手中，像我将 犹大 王 西底家 交在他仇敌和寻索其命的 巴比伦 王 尼布甲尼撒 手中一样。」
