1Israel, return to the LORD your God; for you have fallen because of your sin.
1以色列 啊，你要歸向耶和華－你的上帝； 你是因自己的罪孽跌倒了。
2Take words with you, and return to the LORD. Tell him, “Forgive all our sins, and accept that which is good; so we offer bulls as we vowed of our lips.
2當歸向耶和華， 用言語禱告他說： 求你除淨罪孽，悅納善行； 這樣，我們就把嘴唇 的 祭 代替 牛犢獻上。
3Assyria can’t save us. We won’t ride on horses; neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, ‘Our gods!’ for in you the fatherless finds mercy.”
3我們不向 亞述 求救， 不騎 埃及 的馬， 也不再對我們手所造的說： 你是 我們的上帝。 因為孤兒在你－ 耶和華 那裏得蒙憐憫。
4“I will heal their waywardness. I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from them.
4我必醫治他們背道的病， 甘心愛他們； 因為我的怒氣向他們轉消。
5I will be like the dew to Israel. He will blossom like the lily, and send down his roots like Lebanon.
5我必向 以色列 如甘露； 他必如百合花開放， 如 黎巴嫩 的樹木 扎根。
6His branches will spread, and his beauty will be like the olive tree, and his fragrance like Lebanon.
6他的枝條必延長； 他的榮華如橄欖樹； 他的香氣如 黎巴嫩 的香柏樹 。
7Men will dwell in his shade. They will revive like the grain, and blossom like the vine. Their fragrance will be like the wine of Lebanon.
7曾住在他蔭下的必歸回， 發旺如五穀，開花如葡萄樹。 他的香氣如 黎巴嫩 的酒。
8Ephraim, what have I to do any more with idols? I answer, and will take care of him. I am like a green cypress tree; from me your fruit is found.”
8以法蓮 必說 ： 我與偶像還有甚麼關涉呢？ 我－ 耶和華 回答他，也必顧念他。 我如青翠的松樹； 你的果子從我而得。
9Who is wise, that he may understand these things? Who is prudent, that he may know them? For the ways of the LORD are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.
9誰是智慧人？可以明白這些事； 誰是通達人？可以知道這一切。 因為，耶和華的道是正直的； 義人必在其中行走， 罪人卻在其上跌倒。
