1Ko eni ia ʻae ngaahi lakanga ʻoe ngaahi foha ʻo ʻElone. Ko e ngaahi foha ʻo ʻElone eni: ko Natapi, mo ʻApiu, mo ʻEliesa, pea mo ʻItama.
1Now these were the divisions of the sons of Aaron: The sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abiu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.

2But Nadab and Abiu died before their father, and had no children: so Eleazar, and Ithamar did the office of the priesthood.

3And David distributed them, that is, Sadoc of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their courses and ministry.
4Pea naʻe tokolahi hake ʻae kau tangataʻeiki naʻe ʻilo ʻi he ngaahi foha ʻo ʻEliesa ʻiate kinautolu ʻoe ngaahi foha ʻo ʻItama; pea naʻe pehē ni ʻa hono vahevaheʻi ʻakinautolu. ʻI he ngaahi foha ʻo ʻEliesa naʻe ai ʻae kau tangata ʻe toko hongofulu ma toko ono naʻe ʻeiki hake ʻi he fale ʻo ʻenau ngaahi tamai, pea ko e toko valu ʻi he ngaahi foha ʻo ʻItama ʻo fakatatau mo e fale ʻo ʻenau ngaahi tamai.
4And there were found many more of the sons of Eleazar among the principal men, than of the sons of Ithamar. And he divided them so, that there were of the sons of Eleazar, sixteen chief men by their families: and of the sons of Ithamar eight by their families and houses.

6And Semeias the son of Nathanael the scribe a Levite, wrote them down before the king and the princes, and Sadoc the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the princes also of the priestly and Levitical families: one house, which was over the rest, of Eleazar: and another house, which had the rest under it, of Ithamar.

11The ninth to Jesua, the tenth to Sechenia,

12The eleventh to Eliasib, the twelfth to Jacim,
13Ko hono hongofulu ma tolu kia Hupa, ko hono hongofulu ma fā kia Sesipeapi,
13The thirteenth to Hoppha, the fourteenth to Isbaab,
14Ko hono hongofulu ma nima kia Pilika, ko hono hongofulu ma ono kia Imeli,
14The fifteenth to Belga, the sixteenth to Emmer,
15Ko hono hongofulu ma fitu kia Heseli, ko hono hongofulu ma valu kia ʻAfisesi,
15The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,
16Ko hongofulu ma hiva kia Pitia, ko hono uofulu kia Sihisikeli,
16The nineteenth to Pheteia, the twentieth to Hezechiel,
17Ko hono uofulu ma taha kia Sakini, ko hono uofulu ma ua kia Kamuli,
17The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul,
18Ko hono uofulu ma tolu kia Tilaia, pea ko hono uofulu ma fā kia Measia.
18The three and twentieth to Dalaiau, the four and twentieth to Maaziau.
19Ko hono vahevahe ia ʻokinautolu ʻi heʻenau ngāue ke haʻu ki fale ʻo Sihova, ʻo fakatatau ki honau anga, ʻi he muimui kia ʻElone ko ʻenau tamai, ʻo hangē ko ia naʻe fekauʻi ʻe Sihova ko e ʻOtua ʻo ʻIsileli kiate ia.
19These are their courses according to their ministries, to come into the house of the Lord, and according to their manner under the hand of Aaron their father: as the Lord the God of Israel had commanded.
20¶ Pea ko hono toe ʻoe ngaahi foha ʻo Livai eni: ʻI he ngaahi foha ʻo ʻAmilami: ko Supaeli: ʻi he ngaahi foha, ʻo Supaeli; ko Setia.
20Now of the rest of the sons of Levi, there was of the sons of Amram, Subael: and of the sons of Subael, Jehedeia.
21Pea ʻia Lihapea: ko e ngaahi foha ʻa Lihapea; ko hono ʻuluaki ʻa Isia.
21Also of the sons of Rohobia the chief Jesias.
22Pea ʻoe kakai Isia; ko Silomoti ʻoe ngaahi foha ʻo Silomoti; ko Sehati.
22And the son of Isaar Salemoth, and the son of Salemoth Jahath:
23Pea ʻoe ngaahi foha ʻo Hepeloni : ʻa Selia ko e ʻuluaki, mo ʻAmalia ko hono toko ua, mo Seesieli ko hono toko tolu, mo Sikamiami ko hono toko fā.
23And his son Jeriau the first, Amarias the second, Jahaziel the third, Jecmaan the fourth.
24Pea ʻoe ngaahi foha ʻo ʻUsili; ko Maika; pea ʻi he ngaahi foha ʻo Maika ʻa Samili.
24The son of Oziel, Micha: the son of Micha, Samir.
25Ko e tokoua ʻo Maika ʻa Isia: pea ʻoe ngaahi foha ʻo Isia; ko Sakalia.
25The brother of Micha, Jesia: and the son of Jesia, Zacharias.
26Ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Melali, ko Mali mo Musi: ko e ngaahi foha ʻo Saesia; ko Pino.
26The sons of Merari: Moholi and Musi: the son of Oziau: Benno.
27¶ Ko e ngaahi foha eni ʻo Malali ʻia Saesia; ko Pino, mo Sohami, mo Sakuli, pea mo Ipili.
27The son also of Merari: Oziau, and Seam, and Zacchur, and Hebri.
28Naʻe tupu ʻia Mali ʻa Eliasa, pea naʻe ʻikai hano foha ʻoʻona.
28And the son of Moholi: Eleazar, who had no sons.
29Pea koeʻuhi ko Kisi: ko e foha ʻo Kisi ʻa Silamili.
29And the son of Cis, Jeramael.
30Pea ko e ngaahi foha foki ʻo Musi; ko Mali, mo Iteli, pea mo Selimoti. Ko e ngaahi foha eni ʻoe kau Livai ʻo fakatatau mo e fale ʻo ʻenau ngaahi tamai.
30The sons of Musi: Moholi, Eder, and Jerimoth. These are the sons of Levi according to the houses of their families.
31Naʻe fefaiʻaki ʻae talotalo ʻekinautolu mo honau kāinga ko e ngaahi foha ʻo ʻElone, ʻi he ʻao ʻo Tevita ko e tuʻi, mo Satoki, mo ʻAhimeleki, mo e kau tuʻukimuʻa ʻi he kau mātuʻa ʻoe kau taulaʻeiki mo e kau Livai, ʻio, naʻe fai felakaaki ʻe he kau mātuʻa mo honau ngaahi kāinga talavou.
31And they also cast lots over against their brethren the sons of Aaron before David the king, and Sadoc, and Ahimelech, and the princes of the priestly and Levitical families, both the elder and the younger. The lot divided all equally.
