1ผมเห็นลูกแกะเปิดตราหนึ่งในเจ็ดดวง และได้ยินสิ่งมีชีวิตหนึ่งในสี่ตัวกล่าวด้วยเสียงดุจฟ้าร้องว่า “มาดูสิ!”
1I saw that the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as with a voice of thunder, “Come and see!”
2แล้วม้าสีขาวตัวหนึ่งก็ปรากฏ ผู้ที่นั่งบนม้าถือคันธนู เขาได้รับมงกุฎหนึ่งวง และออกไปในฐานะผู้ชนะ เพื่อชนะต่อไป
2Then a white horse appeared, and he who sat on it had a bow. A crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.
3เมื่อลูกแกะเปิดตราดวงที่สอง ผมได้ยินสิ่งมีชีวิตตัวที่สองกล่าวว่า “มา!”
3When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come!”
4ม้าอีกตัวหนึ่งออกมา เป็นม้าสีแดง ผู้ที่นั่งบนม้าได้รับอำนาจให้เอาสันติสุขไปจากแผ่นดินโลก เพื่อให้คนฆ่ากันเอง และเขาได้รับดาบใหญ่หนึ่งเล่ม
4Another came out, a red horse. To him who sat on it was given power to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another. There was given to him a great sword.
5เมื่อลูกแกะเปิดตราดวงที่สาม ผมได้ยินสิ่งมีชีวิตตัวที่สามกล่าวว่า “มาดูสิ!” แล้วก็เห็นม้าสีดำ ผู้ที่นั่งบนม้าถือตาชั่งอยู่ในมือ
5When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, “Come and see!” And behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a balance in his hand.
6ผมได้ยินเสียงหนึ่งดังมาจากท่ามกลางสิ่งมีชีวิตทั้งสี่ว่า “ข้าวสาลีหนึ่งคอยนิกซ์ ต่อหนึ่งเดนาริอุส และข้าวบาร์เลย์สามคอยนิกซ์ต่อหนึ่งเดนาริอุส! อย่าทำน้ำมันและเหล้าองุ่นเสียหาย!”
6I heard a voice in the middle of the four living creatures saying, “A choenix of wheat for a denarius, and three choenix of barley for a denarius! Don’t damage the oil and the wine!”
7เมื่อลูกแกะเปิดตราดวงที่สี่ ผมได้ยินสิ่งมีชีวิตตัวที่สี่กล่าวว่า “มาดูสิ!”
7When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see!”
8แล้วก็เห็นม้าสีซีด ผู้ที่นั่งบนม้ามีชื่อว่า ความตาย แดนคนตายตามเขามา เขาได้รับอำนาจเหนือหนึ่งในสี่ของแผ่นดินโลก ให้ฆ่าด้วยดาบ ด้วยความอดอยาก ด้วยความตาย และด้วยสัตว์ป่าของแผ่นดินโลก
8And behold, a pale horse, and the name of he who sat on it was Death. Hades followed with him. Authority over one fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword, with famine, with death, and by the wild animals of the earth was given to him.
9เมื่อลูกแกะเปิดตราดวงที่ห้า ผมเห็นดวงวิญญาณของคนที่ถูกฆ่าอยู่ใต้แท่นบูชา เพราะพระคำของพระเจ้า และเพราะคำพยานของลูกแกะที่พวกเขายึดถือ
9When he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of those who had been killed for the Word of God, and for the testimony of the Lamb which they had.
10พวกเขาร้องด้วยเสียงดังว่า “เจ้านายผู้บริสุทธิ์และเที่ยงแท้ อีกนานเท่าไรพระองค์จึงจะพิพากษาคนที่อาศัยอยู่บนแผ่นดินโลก และแก้แค้นให้เลือดของพวกเรา?”
10They cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, Master, the holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
11แต่ละคนได้รับเสื้อคลุมยาวสีขาว และมีผู้บอกให้พวกเขาพักต่อไปอีกสักระยะหนึ่ง จนกว่าเพื่อนผู้รับใช้และพี่น้องของพวกเขา ซึ่งจะถูกฆ่าเช่นเดียวกับพวกเขา จะดำเนินทางของตนจนจบเช่นกัน
11A long white robe was given to each of them. They were told that they should rest yet for a while, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who would also be killed even as they were, should complete their course.
12ผมเห็นตอนที่ลูกแกะเปิดตราดวงที่หก แล้วเกิดแผ่นดินไหวครั้งใหญ่ ดวงอาทิตย์กลายเป็นสีดำเหมือนผ้ากระสอบที่ทำจากขนสัตว์ และดวงจันทร์ทั้งดวงกลายเป็นเหมือนเลือด
12I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake. The sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became as blood.
13ดาวบนท้องฟ้าตกลงสู่แผ่นดินโลก เหมือนผลมะเดื่อดิบที่ร่วงจากต้นมะเดื่อเมื่อถูกลมแรงเขย่า
13The stars of the sky fell to the earth, like a fig tree dropping its unripe figs when it is shaken by a great wind.
14ท้องฟ้าหายไปเหมือนม้วนหนังสือที่ถูกม้วนเก็บ ภูเขาและเกาะทุกแห่งเคลื่อนออกจากที่เดิม
14The sky was removed like a scroll when it is rolled up. Every mountain and island was moved out of its place.
15บรรดากษัตริย์แห่งแผ่นดินโลก เจ้าชาย ผู้บัญชาการ คนมั่งมี ผู้มีกำลัง ตลอดจนทาสทุกคนและคนเสรีทุกคน ต่างซ่อนตัวอยู่ในถ้ำและตามโขดหินบนภูเขา
15The kings of the earth, the princes, the commanding officers, the rich, the strong, and every slave and free person, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains.
16พวกเขาพูดกับภูเขาและโขดหินว่า “จงตกลงมาทับพวกเรา และซ่อนพวกเราให้พ้นจากใบหน้าของผู้ที่นั่งบนบัลลังก์ และจากความเดือดดาลของลูกแกะ
16They told the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,
17เพราะวันยิ่งใหญ่แห่งความเดือดดาลของพระองค์มาถึงแล้ว และใครจะยืนอยู่ได้?”
17for the great day of his wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”
