1Вот сыны страны из пленников переселения, которых Навуходоносор, царь Вавилонский, отвел в Вавилон, возвратившиеся в Иерусалим и Иудею, каждый в свой город,-
1Now these are the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and that returned unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;

2who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel:
3сыновей Пароша две тысячи сто семьдесят два;
3The children of Parosh, two thousand a hundred seventy and two.
4сыновей Сафатии триста семьдесят два;
4The children of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy and two.
5сыновей Араха семьсот семьдесят пять;
5The children of Arah, seven hundred seventy and five.
6сыновей Пахаф-Моава, из сыновей Иисуса и Иоава, две тысячи восемьсот двенадцать;
6The children of Pahath-moab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve.
7сыновей Елама тысяча двести пятьдесят четыре;
7The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.
8сыновей Заттуя девятьсот сорок пять;
8The children of Zattu, nine hundred forty and five.
9сыновей Закхая семьсот шестьдесят;
9The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and threescore.
10сыновей Вания шестьсот сорок два;

58всего - нефинеев и сыновей рабов Соломоновых триста девяносто два.
58All the Nethinim, and the children of Solomon's servants, were three hundred ninety and two.
59И вот вышедшие из Тел-Мелаха, Тел-Харши, Херуб-Аддан-Иммера, которые не могли показать о поколении своем и о племени своем от Израиля ли они:
59And these were they that went up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer; but they could not tell their fathers' houses, and their seed, whether they were of Israel:
60сыновья Делайи, сыновья Товии, сыновья Некоды, шестьсот пятьдесят два.
60the children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred fifty and two.
61И из сыновей священнических: сыновья Хабайи, сыновья Гаккоца, сыновья Верзеллия, который взял жену из дочерей Верзеллия Галаадитянина и стал называться именем их.
61And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Hakkoz, the children of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name.
62Они искали своей записи родословной, и не нашлось ее, а потому исключены из священства.
62These sought their register, that is, the genealogy, but it was not found; therefore were they deemed polluted and put from the priesthood.
63И Тиршафа сказал им, чтоб они не ели великой святыни, доколе не восстанет священник с уримом и туммимом.
63And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.
64Все общество вместе состояло из сорока двух тысяч трехсот шестидесяти человек,
64The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,
65кроме рабов их и рабынь их, которых было семь тысяч триста тридцать семь; и при них певцов и певиц двести.
65beside their men-servants and their maid-servants, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven; and they had two hundred singing men and singing women.
66Коней у них семьсот тридцать шесть, лошаков у них двести сорок пять;
66Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;
67верблюдов у них четыреста тридцать пять, ослов шесть тысяч семьсот двадцать.
67their camels, four hundred thirty and five; their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
68Из глав поколений некоторые, придя к дому Господню, что в Иерусалиме, доброхотно жертвовали на дом Божий, чтобы восстановить его на основании его.
68And some of the heads of fathers' houses, when they came to the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem, offered willingly for the house of God to set it up in its place;
69По достатку своему, они дали в сокровищницу на производство работ шестьдесят одну тысячу драхм золота и пять тысяч мин серебра и сто священнических одежд.
69they gave after their ability into the treasury of the work threescore and one thousand darics of gold, and five thousand pounds of silver, and one hundred priests' tunics.
70И стали жить священники и левиты, и народ и певцы, и привратники и нефинеи в городах своих, и весь Израиль в городах своих.
70So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinim, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
