1Tire a roupa de seu luto e de sua aflição, ó Jerusalém, e vista para sempre a beleza da glória que vem de Deus.
1Put off, O Jerusalem, the garment of thy mourning, and affliction: and put on the beauty, and honour of that everlasting glory which thou hast from God.
2Vista o manto da justiça que vem de Deus e coloque sobre a cabeça o diadema da glória do Eterno.
2God will clothe thee with the double garment of justice, and will set a crown on thy head of everlasting honour.
3Pois Deus mostrará seu esplendor em todos os lugares debaixo do céu.
3For God will shew his brightness in thee, to every one under heaven.
4Seu nome será chamado por Deus para sempre: “Paz da Justiça, Glória da Piedade”.
4For thy name shall be named to thee by God for ever: the peace of justice, and honour of piety.
5Levante-se, ó Jerusalém, e fique de pé no alto. Olhe ao redor para o leste e veja seus filhos reunidos desde o pôr do sol até seu nascente, pela palavra do Santo, alegrando-se porque Deus se lembrou deles.
5Arise, O Jerusalem, and stand on high: and look about towards the east, and behold thy children gathered together from the rising to the setting sun, by the word of the Holy One rejoicing in the remembrance of God.
6Pois eles partiram de você a pé, levados por seus inimigos, mas Deus os traz de volta a você carregados no alto com glória, como sobre um trono real.
6For they went out from thee on foot, led by the enemies: but the Lord will bring them to thee exalted with honour as children of the kingdom.
7Pois Deus determinou que toda montanha elevada e as colinas eternas sejam rebaixadas, e que os vales sejam preenchidos para tornar o terreno plano, a fim de que Israel caminhe em segurança na glória de Deus.
7For God hath appointed to bring down every high mountain, and the everlasting rocks, and to fill up the valleys to make them even with the ground: that Israel may walk diligently to the honour of God.
8Além disso, os bosques e toda árvore aromática darão sombra a Israel por ordem de Deus.
8Moreover the woods, and every sweet-smelling tree have overshadowed Israel by the commandment of God.
9Pois Deus conduzirá Israel com alegria, à luz de sua glória, com a misericórdia e a justiça que vêm dele.
9For God will bring Israel with joy in the light of his majesty, with mercy, and justice, that cometh from him.
