Bible Mutal (Kosraean)
Douay-Rheims Bible, American Edition (1899)
1Ke ma inge, mwet lili ac lulu, ke sripen pakoten lulap lun God nu sesr, nga kwafe suwos: kowos in eiskowosyang sifacna nu sin God oana sie mwe kisa moul ac mutal ac mwe akinsewowoyel. Pa inge ouiyen alu pwaye ma fal kowos in oru.
1I BESEECH you therefore, brethren, by the mercy of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing unto God, your reasonable service.
2Kowos in tia etai luman moul lun mwet faclu, a kowos in ekla ke sripen God El arulana aksasuye nunak lowos. Na kowos fah ku in etu ma lungse lun God — ma su wo, ac mwe akinsewowoyel, ac suwoswoslana.
2And be not conformed to this world; but be reformed in the newness of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, and the acceptable, and the perfect will of God.
3Ke sripen mwe kite kulang lun God nu sik, nga fahk nu suwos nukewa: kowos in tia sifacna nunku mu kowos fulat liki mwet ngia, a kowos in pusisel in nunak lowos, ac tuni ouiyen moul lowos fal nu ke lupan lulalfongi ma God El asot nu suwos.
3For I say, by the grace that is given me, to all that are among you, not to be more wise than it behoveth to be wise, but to be wise unto sobriety, and according as God hath divided to every one the measure of faith.
4Oasr lah puspis in sie mano, ac kais sie lah inge tia oana sie orekma lalos.
4For as in one body we have many members, but all the members have not the same office:
5In ouiya se pacna inge, kut finne mwet puspis, kut mano sefanna ke kut ma sefannala yurin Christ, ac kut nukewa akupasri, oana kais sie lah ma tia oana sie ke sie mano.
5So we being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6God El ase kais sie mwe kite nu sesr su tia oana sie, na kut in orekmakin mwe kite inge fal nu ke kulang ma God El ase nu sesr. Kut fin ku in fahkak kas lun God, kut enenu in oru fal nu ke lulalfongi ma oasr yorosr.
6And having different gifts, according to the grace that is given us, either prophecy, to be used according to the rule of faith;
7Kut fin ku in kulansapu mwet, kut enenu in kulansap; kut fin ku in luti, kut enenu in luti;
7Or ministry, in ministering; or he that teacheth, in doctrine;
8kut fin ku in akkeye insien mwet, kut enenu in akkeyalos. Fin oasr yurin sie mwet ma el ku in sang kasru mwet ngia, lela elan sang in yohk. Kutena mwet su kol, elan oru ke kuiyal. Kutena mwet su oru mwe kulang lal, lela elan oru ke inse engan.
8He that exhorteth, in exhorting; he that giveth, with simplicity; he that ruleth, with carefulness; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
9Kowos in lungse ke inse pwaye. Kwase ma koluk, ac sruokya ku ma wo.
9Let love be without dissimulation. Hating that which is evil, cleaving to that which is good.
10Kowos in arulana lungse sie sin sie oana mwet lili ac lulu in Christ, ac kowos in engan in akfulatye sie sin sie.
10Loving one another with the charity of brotherhood, with honour preventing one another.
11Kowos in alken in orekma ac tia alsrangesr, ac insianaung in kulansupu Leum.
11In carefulness not slothful. In spirit fervent. Serving the Lord.
12Engan in finsrak, mongfisrasr in keok, ac sikalani in pre.
12Rejoicing in hope. Patient in tribulation. Instant in prayer.
13Sang ma lowos in kasru mwet wiowos in lulalfong su oasr enenu la, ac paing mwet sac nu in lohm suwos.
13Communicating to the necessities of the saints. Pursuing hospitality.
14Siyuk sin God Elan akinsewowoyalos su oru koluk nu suwos — aok, siyuk Elan akinsewowoyalos ac tia selngawelos.
14Bless them that persecute you: bless, and curse not.
15Engan yorolos su engan; tung yorolos su tung.
15Rejoice with them that rejoice; weep with them that weep.
16Kowos in nunku ke mwet nukewa oana sie. Kowos in tia inse fulat, a kowos in engan in oru orekma pusisel. Kowos in tia sifacna nunku mu kowos lalmwetmet.
16Being of one mind one towards another. Not minding high things, but consenting to the humble. Be not wise in your own conceits.
17Fin oasr kutena mwet oru ma koluk nu suwos, kowos in tia folokin nu sel ke ma koluk. Srike in oru ma su wo ye mutun mwet nukewa.
17To no man rendering evil for evil. Providing good things, not only in the sight of God, but also in the sight of all men.
18Kowos in oru kuiyowos nufon tuh kowos in moul misla yurin mwet nukewa.
18If it be possible, as much as is in you, have peace with all men.
19Mwet kawuk luk, kowos in tia foloksak, a lela God Elan multikin. Tuh Ma Simusla uh fahk, “Leum God El fahk, Ma luk in foloksak; nga fah folokin molin ma koluk.”
19Revenge not yourselves, my dearly beloved; but give place unto wrath, for it is written: Revenge is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord.
20A kowos in oru oana Ma Simusla uh fahk: “Mwet lokoalok lom fin masrinsral, sang ma nal; el fin malu, sang kof nimal; tuh ke kom oru ouinge kom arulana akmwekinyalla.”
20But if thy enemy be hungry, give him to eat; if he thirst, give him to drink. For, doing this, thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head.
21Nik kom lela ma koluk in kutangkomla, a kom in kutangla ma koluk ke ma wo.
21Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil by good.
