20He answered, “It is one of the Twelve—the one who is dipping his hand into the bowl with Me.

28Tusruktu tukun God El sifil akmoulyeyuyak, nga fah som meet liki kowos nu Galilee.”
28But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”
29Ac Peter el fahk nu sel, “Nga fah tiana som liki kom, elos inge nukewa finne fahsr liki kom!”
29Peter declared, “Even if all fall away, I never will.”
30Na Jesus el fahk nu sel Peter, “Pwayena nga fahk nu sum, meet liki won uh kahk ke pacl akluo ofong, kom ac fah lafwekinyu pacl tolu.”
30“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “this very night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.”

34Then He said to them, “My soul is consumed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch.”
35Ac el fahsr kutu nu meet ac faksufi ac pre tuh fin ku, ao in keok se inge in alukella.
35Going a little farther, He fell to the ground and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour would pass from Him.

36“Abba, Father,” He said, “all things are possible for You. Take this cup from Me. Yet not what I will, but what You will.”
37Na el folokla ac liye lah mwet tumal lutlut tolu ah motul, ac el fahk nu sel Peter, “Simon, ya kom motul? Ya kom kofla in soano finne ao sefanna?”
37Then Jesus returned and found them sleeping. “Simon, are you asleep?” He asked. “Were you not able to keep watch for one hour?
38Ac el fahk nu seltal, “Komtal soano ac pre tuh komtal in tia srifeyukla. Pwayena, ngun lungse a ikwa munas.”
38Watch and pray so that you will not enter into temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”
39Ac el sifil folokla pre, ac fahk pacna kas el fahk meet ah.
39Again He went away and prayed, saying the same thing.
40Na el sifil foloko nu yurin mwet tumal lutlut ac liyalos lah elos srakna motul, tuh eltal tia ku in kutong mwetkel laltal. Ac eltal tia etu ma eltal ac topuk nu sel.

41When Jesus returned the third time, He said, “Are you still sleeping and resting? That is enough! The hour has come. Look, the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
42Tukakek, kut som. Liye, pa inge mwet se ma ac tukakinyuyak ah!”
42Rise, let us go. See, My betrayer is approaching!”

49Every day I was with you, teaching in the temple courts, and you did not arrest Me. But this has happened that the Scriptures would be fulfilled.”
50Na mwet tumal lutlut nukewa fahsr lukel ac kaingelik.
50Then everyone deserted Him and fled.

56For many bore false witness against Jesus, but their testimony was inconsistent.
57Na kutu selos tuyak ac orek loh kikiap ke Jesus ac fahk:

58“Kut lohng ke el fahk mu, ‘Nga fah kunausla Tempul se inge su orekla ke poun mwet, ac tukun len tolu nga fah musaela sie su tia orek ke poun met.’”
58“We heard Him say, ‘I will destroy this man-made temple, and in three days I will build another that is made without hands.’”

59But even their testimony was inconsistent.
60Na Mwet Tol Fulat el tuyak ye mutalos ac siyuk sin Jesus, “Ya wanginna ma kom ac topuk ke ma elos uh srukak in lain kom inge?”
60So the high priest stood up before them and questioned Jesus, “Have You no answer? What are these men testifying against You?”
61Tuh Jesus el misla ac tia kas. Na Mwet Tol Fulat el sifilpa siyuk sel, “Ya kom pa Messiah, Wen nutin El su Mutallana?”
61But Jesus remained silent and made no reply. Again the high priest questioned Him, “Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed One?”
62Ac Jesus el fahk, “Aok, nga. Ac kowos ac fah liye ke nga, Wen nutin Mwet, fah muta lac po layot sin El su Kulana, ac tuku fin pukunyeng inkusrao!”

63Mwet Tol Fulat el salik nuknuk lal ac fahk, “Kut tia sifil enenu kutu pac mwet loh!
63At this, the high priest tore his clothes and declared, “Why do we need any more witnesses?

64You have heard the blasphemy. What is your verdict?” And they all condemned Him as deserving of death.

65Then some of them began to spit on Him. They blindfolded Him, struck Him with their fists, and said to Him, “Prophesy!” And the officers received Him with slaps in His face.
66Peter el srakna muta in kalkal uh ke sie mutan kulansap lun Mwet Tol Fulat el fahsryak.
66While Peter was in the courtyard below, one of the servant girls of the high priest came down

69Ac mutan kulansap sac liyal ac sifilpa fahk nu selos su tu we, “El an el sie selos.”
69There the servant girl saw him and again said to those standing nearby, “This man is one of them.”

70But he denied it again. After a little while, those standing nearby said once more to Peter, “Surely you are one of them, for you too are a Galilean.”
71Na Peter el fahk nu selos, “Nga fulahk lah nga kas na pwaye! God Elan kalyeiyu nga fin kikiap! Nga tia etu mwet se kowos kaskas kac an!”
71But he began to curse and swear, “I do not know this man of whom you speak!”
