1Na Elihu el sifilpa fahk:
1And Eliu continued his discourse, and said:
2“Lohng kas luk uh, komtal su oru mu komtal lalmwetmwet, Ac ikasla insremtal in lohngyu, komtal su pangon mu komtal etu ma nukewa.
2Hear ye, wise men, my words, and ye learned, hearken to me:
3Komtal etu mongo yu uh ke komtal ac ema uh, Tusruktu komtal tiana akilen kas lalmwetmet ke komtal lohng uh.
3For the ear trieth words, and the mouth discerneth meats by the taste.
4Lela kut in tukeni sulela lah pia ma pwaye uh; Ac lela kut in sifacna nunku lah pia ma wo uh.
4Let us choose to us judgment, and let us see among ourselves what is the best.
5Mweyen Job el sifacna fahk mu wangin ma koluk lal, Ac el fahk pac mu God El tiana orek nununku suwohs nu sel.
5For Job hath said: I am just, and God hath overthrown my judgment.
6El siyuk ac fahk, ‘Ac fuka ngan kikiap mu oasr ma koluk luk.? Nga arulana musalla ke kinet keik, tusruktu wanginna ma koluk luk.’
6For in judging me there is a lie: my arrow is violent without any sin.
7“Nu oasr mwet komtal liye oana mwet se Job uh? El oru aksruksruk lal uh ma na fisrasr, oana ke el nim kof uh.
7What man is there like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?
8El lungse asruoki nu sin mwet orekma koluk, Ac wi mwet koluk fufahsryesr.
8Who goeth in company with them that work iniquity, and walketh with wicked men?
9El fahk kut finne srike in fahsr tukun ma lungse lun God, Wanginna ma ac wo nu sesr kac.
9For he hath said: Man shall not please God, although he run with him.
10“Porongeyu, komtal su nunku mu oasr etauk la! Ya God Kulana El ku in oru ma sesuwos?
10Therefore, ye men of understanding, hear me: far from god be wickedness, and iniquity from the Almighty.
11El akinsewowoye mwet uh fal nu ke orekma lalos, Ac folokin nu selos fal nu ke ouiyen moul lalos.
11For he will render to a man his work, and according to the ways of every one he will reward them.
12God Kulana El tiana oru ma koluk; Wangin pacl El oru ma sesuwos nu sin mwet uh.
12For in very deed God will not condemn without cause, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.
13Mea, God El eis ku lal sin sie na? Ya oasr pac sie su sang ku nu sel in liyaung faclu?
13What other hath he appointed over the earth? or whom hath he set over the world which he made?
14God El fin sulela sel Elan eisla ngunal ac mongol liki mwet uh,
14If he turn his heart to him, he shall draw his spirit and breath unto himself.
15Na mwet nukewa ma moul uh ac misa Ac sifilpa folokla nu ke kutkut.
15All flesh shall perish together, and man shall return into ashes.
16“Inge, komtal fin lalmwetmet, komtal lohng ma nga ac fahk uh.
16If then thou hast understanding, hear what is said, and hearken to the voice of my words.
17Ya komtal fahk mu oasr mwatan God su suwoswoslana? Ya komtal nunku mu El su kulana El lain nununku suwohs?
17Can he be healed that loveth not judgment? and how dost thou so far condemn him that is just?
18God El ku in fahkak mwatan tokosra ac mwet leum uh Ke pacl elos oru ma koluk, ac fin wangin sripalos.
18Who saith to the king: Thou art an apostate: who calleth rulers ungodly?
19El tia wi mwet leum uh lac, Ku oru in wo nu sin mwet kasrup liki mwet sukasrup, Mweyen El pa orala mwet nukewa.
19Who accepteth not the persons of princes: nor hath regarded the tyrant, when he contended against the poor man: for all are the work of his hands.
20Sie mwet el ku in misa in kitin pacl na ke fong. God El sringilya mwet uh na elos misa; El uniya mwet ku uh oana ma wangin.
20They shall suddenly die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and they shall pass, and take away the violent without hand.
21El taran ma mwet uh oru in pacl nukewa.
21For his eyes are upon the ways of men, and he considereth all their steps.
22Wanginna acn ma lohsr matoltol Ku in okanla mwet koluk uh liki God.
22There is no darkness, and there is no shadow of death, where they may be hid who work iniquity.
23God El tia enenu in pakiya pacl Lun sie mwet in som tuh Elan nununku.
23For it is no longer in the power of man to enter into judgment with God.
24El tia enenu in oasr sukok se orek Tuh Elan sisla mwet kol uh ac aolulosla.
24He shall break in pieces many and innumerable, and shall make others to stand in their stead.
25Mweyen El etu ma elos oru uh. El ac siselosla ac itungulosi ke fong uh.
25For he knoweth their works: and therefore he shall bring night on them, and they shall be destroyed.
26El akkeokye mwet koluk uh yen mwet nukewa ac ku in liye,
26He hath struck them, as being wicked, in open sight.
27Mweyen elos tila fahsr tokol, Ac elos pilesrala ma sap lal nukewa.
27Who as it were on purpose have revolted from him, and would not understand all his ways:
28Ke sripalos mwet sukasrup elos wowoyak ac pang nu sin God, Tuh Elan kasrelos, ac God El lohng pusren pang lalos.
28So that they caused the cry of the needy to come to him, and he heard the voice of the poor.
29“God El fin sulela Elan tiana oru kutu ma, Wangin mwet ac ku in fahk mu oasr ma sutuu sel. El fin okanla mutal, wangin ma mwet uh ac ku in oru.
29For when he granteth peace, who is there that can condemn? When he hideth his countenance, who is there that can behold him, whether it regard nations, or all men?
30Wangin ma mutanfahl uh ac ku in oru In ikolya mwet ma tia etu God uh in tia leum faclos.
30Who maketh a man that is a hypocrite to reign for the sins of the people?
31“Job, ku kom fahkak tari ma koluk lom an nu sin God, Ac wulela kom in tia sifil orekma koluk?
31Seeing then I have spoken of God, I will not hinder thee in thy turn.
32Kom nu siyuk God Elan akkalemye nu sum ma kom sufalla kac uh, Ac insese mu kom ac tia sifilpa orekma koluk?
32If I have erred, teach thou me: if I have spoken iniquity, I will add no more.
33Ke kom lain ma God El oru uh, Ya kom liye mu El ac ku in oru ma kom lungse uh? Sulela uh ac ma na lom, tia ma luk; Fahkma nu sesr ingena ma kom nunku an.
33Doth God require it of thee, because it hath displeased thee? for thou begannest to speak, and not I: but if thou know any thing better, speak.
34“Kutena mwet ma kalem in nunak uh, ac ku in insese nu sik; Ac kutena mwet lalmwetmet ma lohng kas luk uh, ac ku in fahk lah
34Let men of understanding speak to me, and let a wise man hearken to me.
35Job el kaskas ke lalfon lal, Ac lah wangin kalmen ma el fahk uh.
35But Job hath spoken foolishly, and his words sound not discipline.
36Nunku akwoya ke ma nukewa ma Job el fahk uh; Komtal ac akilen lah el kaskas oana sie mwet koluk.
36My father, let Job be tried even to the end: cease not from the man of iniquity.
37El sang seakos in laesla ma koluk lal uh; El aksruksruki God ye mutasr nukewa.”
37Because he addeth blasphemy upon his sins, let him be tied fast in the mean time amongst us: and then let him provoke God to judgment with his speeches.
