1Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
1Εἰς τὸ τέλος· ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυΐδ, ᾠδή· Ἱερεμίου καὶ Ἰεζεκιήλ ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ τῆς παροικίας, ὅτε ἔμελλον ἐκπορεύεσθαι.
2Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
2ΣΟΙ ΠΡΕΠΕΙ ὕμνος, ὁ Θεός, ἐν Σιών, καὶ σοὶ ἀποδοθήσεται εὐχὴ ἐν Ἱερουσαλήμ.
3Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
3εἰσάκουσον προσευχῆς μου· πρὸς σὲ πᾶσα σὰρξ ἥξει.
4That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
4λόγοι ἀνόμων ὑπερεδυνάμωσαν ἡμᾶς, καὶ ταῖς ἀσεβείαις ἡμῶν σὺ ἱλάσῃ.
5They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
5μακάριος ὃν ἐξελέξω καὶ προσελάβου· κατασκηνώσει ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς σου. πλησθησόμεθα ἐν τοῖς ἀγαθοῖς τοῦ οἴκου σου· ἅγιος ὁ ναός σου,
6They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them , and the heart, is deep.
6θαυμαστὸς ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ. ἐπάκουσον ἡμῶν, ὁ Θεός, ὁ σωτὴρ ἡμῶν, ἡ ἐλπὶς πάντων τῶν περάτων τῆς γῆς καὶ τῶν ἐν θαλάσσῃ μακράν,
7But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
7ἑτοιμάζων ὄρη ἐν τῇ ἰσχύϊ αὐτοῦ, περιεζωσμένος ἐν δυναστείᾳ,
8So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
8ὁ συνταράσσων τὸ κῦτος τῆς θαλάσσης, ἤχους κυμάτων αὐτῆς. ταραχθήσονται τὰ ἔθνη,
9And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.
9καὶ φοβηθήσονται οἱ κατοικοῦντες τὰ πέρατα ἀπὸ τῶν σημείων σου· ἐξόδους πρωΐας καὶ ἑσπέρας τέρψεις.
10The righteous shall be glad in the LORD , and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
10ἐπεσκέψω τὴν γῆν καὶ ἐμέθυσας αὐτήν, ἐπλήθυνας τοῦ πλουτίσαι αὐτήν· ὁ ποταμὸς τοῦ Θεοῦ ἐπληρώθη ὑδάτων· ἡτοίμασας τὴν τροφὴν αὐτῶν, ὅτι οὕτως ἡ ἑτοιμασία.

11τοὺς αὔλακας αὐτῆς μέθυσον, πλήθυνον τὰ γεννήματα αὐτῆς, ἐν ταῖς σταγόσιν αὐτῆς εὐφρανθήσεται ἀνατέλλουσα.

12εὐλογήσεις τὸν στέφανον τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ τῆς χρηστότητός σου, καὶ τὰ πεδία σου πλησθήσονται πιότητος·

13πιανθήσεται τὰ ὄρη τῆς ἐρήμου, καὶ ἀγαλλίασιν οἱ βουνοὶ περιζώσονται.

14ἐνεδύσαντο οἱ κριοὶ τῶν προβάτων, καὶ αἱ κοιλάδες πληθυνοῦσι σῖτον· κεκράξονται, καὶ γὰρ ὑμνήσουσι.
