1And the lot for the children of Joseph went out from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, going up from Jericho through the hill-country to the wilderness, even to Beth-el.
1ΚΑΙ ἐγένετο τὰ ὅρια υἱῶν Ἰωσὴφ ἀπὸ τοῦ Ἰορδάνου τοῦ κατὰ Ἱεριχὼ ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν καὶ ἀναβήσεται ἀπὸ Ἱεριχὼ εἰς τὴν ὀρεινήν, τὴν ἔρημον, εἰς Βαιθὴλ Λουζά,
2And it went out from Beth-el-luz, and passed along unto the border of the Archites to Ataroth.
2καὶ ἐξελεύσεται εἰς Βαιθὴλ καὶ παρελεύσεται ἐπὶ τὰ ὅρια τοῦ Ἀχαταρωθὶ
3And it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, unto the border of Beth-horon the nether, even unto Gezer; and the goings out thereof were at the sea.
3καὶ διελεύσεται ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν ἐπὶ τὰ ὅρια Ἀπταλὶμ ἕως τῶν ὁρίων Βαιθωρὼν τὴν κάτω, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν.
4And the children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.
4καὶ ἐκληρονόμησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰωσὴφ Ἐφραὶμ καὶ Μανασσῆ·
5And the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families was thus; even the border of their inheritance eastward was Atroth-addar, unto Beth-horon the upper.
5καὶ ἐγενήθη ὅρια υἱῶν Ἐφραὶμ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν· καὶ ἐγενήθη τὰ ὅρια τῆς κληρονομίας αὐτῶν ἀπ' ἀνατολῶν Ἀταρὼθ καὶ Ἐρὼκ ἕως Βαιθωρὼν τὴν ἄνω καὶ Γαζαρά,
6And the border went out westward, Mich-methath being on the north; and the border turned about eastward unto Taanath-shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah.
6καὶ διελεύσεται τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν εἰς Ἰκασμὼν ἀπὸ βορρᾶ Θερμά, περιελεύσεται ἐπ' ἀνατολὰς εἰς Θηνασὰ καὶ Σελλησὰ καὶ παρελεύσεται ἀπ' ἀνατολῶν εἰς Ἰανωκὰ
7And it went down from Janoah to Ataroth, and to Naarah, and reached unto Jericho, and went out at the Jordan.
7καὶ εἰς Μαχώ, καὶ Ἀταρὼθ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν καὶ ἐλεύσεται ἐπὶ Ἱεριχὼ καὶ διεκβαλεῖ ἐπὶ τὸν Ἰορδάνην.
8From Tappuah the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families;
8καὶ ἀπὸ Τάφου πορεύσεται τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ θάλασσαν ἐπὶ Χελκανά, καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτῶν ἐπὶ θάλασσαν· αὕτη ἡ κληρονομία φυλῆς Ἐφραὶμ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν.
9together with the cities which were separated for the children of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.
9καὶ αἱ πόλεις αἱ ἀφορισθεῖσαι τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἐφραὶμ ἀνὰ μέσον τῆς κληρονομίας υἱῶν Μανασσῆ, πᾶσαι αἱ πόλεις καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν.
10And they drove not out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwelt in the midst of Ephraim, unto this day, and became servants to do taskwork.
10καὶ οὐκ ἀπώλεσεν Ἐφραὶμ τὸν Χαναναῖον τὸν κατοικοῦντα ἐν Γαζέρ, καὶ κατῴκει ὁ Χαναναῖος ἐν τῷ Ἐφραὶμ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης, ἕως ἀνέβη Φαραὼ βασιλεὺς Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτὴν καὶ ἐνέπρησεν αὐτὴν ἐν πυρί, καὶ τοὺς Χαναναίους καὶ τοὺς Φερεζαίους καὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐν Γαζὲρ ἐξεκέντησαν, καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὴν Φαραὼ ἐν φερνῇ τῇ θυγατρὶ αὐτοῦ.
