1Blow ye the horn in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain; let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is at hand;
1Трубите трубою на Сионе и бейте тревогу на святой горе Моей; да трепещут все жители земли, ибо наступает день Господень, ибо он близок -
2A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, as blackness spread upon the mountains; a great people and a mighty, there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after them, even to the years of many generations.
2день тьмы и мрака, день облачный и туманный: как утренняя заря, распространяется по горам народ многочисленный и сильный, какого не бывало от века и после того не будет в роды родов.
3A fire devoureth before them, and behind them a flame blazeth; the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing escapeth them.
3Перед ним пожирает огонь, а за ним палит пламя; перед ним земля как сад Едемский, а позади него будет опустошенная степь, и никому не будет спасения от него.
4The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so do they run.
4Вид его как вид коней, и скачут они как всадники;
5Like the noise of chariots, on the tops of the mountains do they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a mighty people set in battle array.
5скачут по вершинам гор как бы со стуком колесниц, как бы с треском огненного пламени, пожирающего солому, как сильный народ, выстроенный к битве.
6At their presence the peoples are in anguish; all faces have gathered blackness.
6При виде его затрепещут народы, у всех лица побледнеют.
7They run like mighty men, they climb the wall like men of war; and they move on every one in his ways, and they entangle not their paths.
7Как борцы, бегут они и, как храбрые воины, влезают на стену, и каждый идет своею дорогою и не сбивается с путей своих.
8Neither doth one thrust another, they march every one in his highway; and they break through the weapons, and suffer no harm.
8Не давят друг друга, каждый идет своею стезею, и падают на копья, но остаются невредимы.
9They leap upon the city, they run upon the wall, they climb up into the houses; they enter in at the windows like a thief.
9Бегают по городу, поднимаются на стены, влезают на дома, входят в окна, как вор.
10Before them the earth quaketh, the heavens tremble; the sun and the moon are become black, and the stars withdraw their shining.
10Перед ними потрясется земля, поколеблется небо; солнце и луна помрачатся, и звезды потеряют свой свет.
11And the LORD uttereth His voice before His army; for His camp is very great, for he is mighty that executeth His word; for great is the day of the LORD and very terrible; and who can abide it?
11И Господь даст глас Свой пред воинством Своим, ибо весьма многочисленно полчище Его и могуществен исполнитель слова Его; ибо велик день Господень и весьма страшен, и кто выдержит его?
12Yet even now, saith the LORD, turn ye unto Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with lamentation;
12Но и ныне еще говорит Господь: обратитесь ко Мне всем сердцем своим в посте, плаче и рыдании.
13And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God; for He is gracious and compassionate, long-suffering, and abundant in mercy, and repenteth Him of the evil.
13Раздирайте сердца ваши, а не одежды ваши и обратитесь к Господу Богу вашему; ибо Он благ и милосерд, долготерпелив и многомилостив и сожалеет о бедствии.
14Who knoweth whether He will not turn and repent, and leave a blessing behind Him, even a meal-offering and a drink-offering unto the LORD your God?
14Кто знает, не сжалится ли Он и не оставит ли благословения, хлебного приношения и возлияния Господу Богу вашему?
15Blow the horn in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly;
15Вострубите трубою на Сионе, назначьте пост и объявите торжественное собрание.
16Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts; let the bridegroom go forth from his chamber, and the bride out of her pavilion.
16Соберите народ, созовите собрание, пригласите старцев, соберите отроков и грудных младенцев; пусть выйдет жених из чертога своего и невеста из своей горницы.
17Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say: 'Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not Thy heritage to reproach, that the nations should make them a byword: wherefore should they say among the peoples: Where is their God?'
17Между притвором и жертвенником да плачут священники, служители Господни, и говорят: “пощади, Господи, народ Твой, не предай наследия Твоего на поругание, чтобы не издевались над ним народы; для чего будут говорить между народами: где Бог их?”
18Then was the LORD jealous for His land, and had pity on His people.
18И тогда возревнует Господь о земле Своей, и пощадит народ Свой.
19And the LORD answered and said unto His people: 'Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith; and I will no more make you a reproach among the nations;
19И ответит Господь, и скажет народу Своему: вот, Я пошлю вам хлеб и вино и елей, и будете насыщаться ими, и более не отдам вас на поругание народам.
20But I will remove far off from you the northern one, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the eastern sea, and his hinder part toward the western sea; that his foulness may come up, and his ill savour may come up, because he hath done great things.'
20И пришедшего от севера удалю от вас, и изгоню в землю безводную и пустую, переднее полчище его - в море восточное, а заднее - в море западное, и пойдет от него зловоние, и поднимется от него смрад, так как он много наделал зла.
21Fear not, O land, be glad and rejoice; for the LORD hath done great things.
21Не бойся, земля: радуйся и веселись, ибо Господь велик, чтобы совершить это.
22Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field; for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth its fruit, the fig-tree and the vine do yield their strength.
22Не бойтесь, животные, ибо пастбища пустыни произрастят траву, дерево принесет плод свой, смоковница и виноградная лоза окажут свою силу.
23Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God; for He giveth you the former rain in just measure, and He causeth to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter rain, at the first.
23И вы, чада Сиона, радуйтесь и веселитесь о Господе Боге вашем; ибо Он даст вам дождь в меру и будет ниспосылать вам дождь, дождь ранний и поздний, как прежде.
24And the floors shall be full of corn, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
24И наполнятся гумна хлебом, и переполнятся подточилия виноградным соком и елеем.
25And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the canker-worm, and the caterpiller, and the palmer-worm, My great army which I sent among you.
25И воздам вам за те годы, которые пожирали саранча, черви, жуки и гусеница, великое войско Мое, которое послал Я на вас.
26And ye shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and shall praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be ashamed.
26И до сытости будете есть и насыщаться и славить имя Господа Бога вашего, Который дивное соделал с вами, и не посрамится народ Мой вовеки.
27And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and there is none else; and My people shall never be ashamed.
27И узнаете, что Я посреди Израиля, и Я - Господь Бог ваш, и нет другого, и Мой народ не посрамится вовеки.
28(3-1) And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions;
28И будет после того, излию от Духа Моего на всякую плоть, и будут пророчествовать сыны ваши и дочери ваши; старцам вашим будут сниться сны, и юноши ваши будут видеть видения.
29(3-2) And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out My spirit.
29И также на рабов и на рабынь в те дни излию от Духа Моего.
30(3-3) And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
30И покажу знамения на небе и на земле: кровь и огонь и столпы дыма.
31(3-4) The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
31Солнце превратится во тьму и луна - в кровь, прежде нежели наступит день Господень, великий и страшный.
32(3-5) And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered; for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those that escape, as the LORD hath said, and among the remnant those whom the LORD shall call.
32И будет: всякий, кто призовет имя Господне, спасется; ибо на горе Сионе и в Иерусалиме будет спасение, как сказал Господь, и у остальных, которых призовет Господь.
