1Hear this, O ye priests, and attend, ye house of Israel, and give ear, O house of the king, for unto you pertaineth the judgment; for ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
1Чујте, свештеници, и пази, доме Израиљев, и слушај, доме царев, јер је вама суд, јер сте замка у Миспи и мрежа разапета на Тавору.
2And they that fall away are gone deep in making slaughter; and I am rejected of them all.
2Из потаје клаше оне који залазе; али ћу их ја покарати све.
3I, even I, know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from Me; for now, O Ephraim, thou hast committed harlotry, Israel is defiled.
3Ја познајем Јефрема и Израиљ није сакривен од мене; јер се сада курваш, Јефреме, Израиљ се оскврни.
4Their doings will not suffer them to return unto their God; for the spirit of harlotry is within them, and they know not the LORD.
4Не управљају дела својих да се врате к Богу свом; јер је дух курварски у њима и не знају Господа.
5But the pride of Israel shall testify to his face; and Israel and Ephraim shall stumble in their iniquity, Judah also shall stumble with them.
5И поноситост Израиљева сведочи му у очи; зато ће Израиљ и Јефрем пасти за безакоње своје, пашће и Јуда с њима.
6With their flocks and with their herds they shall go to seek the LORD, but they shall not find Him; He hath withdrawn Himself from them.
6Ићи ће с овцама својим и с говедима својим да траже Господа, али Га неће наћи; уклонио се је од њих.
7They have dealt treacherously against the LORD, for they have begotten strange children; now shall the new moon devour them with their portions.
7Изневерише Господа, јер изродише туђе синове; зато ће их прождрети месец дана с достојањем њиховим.
8Blow ye the horn in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah; sound an alarm at Beth-aven: 'Behind thee, O Benjamin!'
8Трубите у рог у Гаваји, у трубу у Рами; вичите у Вет-авену: за тобом, Венијамине!
9Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke; among the tribes of Israel do I make known that which shall surely be.
9Јефрем ће опустети у дан кара; објавих међу племенима Израиљевим шта ће зацело бити.
10The princes of Judah are like them that remove the landmark; I will pour out My wrath upon them like water.
10Кнезови су Јудини као они који премештају међу; излићу на њих као воду јарост своју.
11Oppressed is Ephraim, crushed in his right; because he willingly walked after filth.
11Јефрему се чини насиље, сатрвен је судом, јер од своје воље отиде за заповешћу.
12Therefore am I unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.
12Зато ћу ја бити Јефрему као мољац и као црв дому Јудином.
13And when Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah his wound, Ephraim went to Assyria, and sent to King Contentious; but he is not able to heal you, neither shall he cure you of your wound.
13И Јефрем виде болест своју и Јуда своју рану, и отиде Јефрем к Асирцу, и Јуда посла к цару који би га бранио; али вас он не може исцелити нити ће вас опростити ране ваше.
14For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah; I, even I, will tear and go away, I will take away, and there shall be none to deliver.
14Јер ћу ја бити као лав Јефрему, као лавић дому Јудином; ја, ја ћу зграбити, и отићи ћу, однећу и нико неће избавити.
15I will go and return to My place, till they acknowledge their guilt, and seek My face; in their trouble they will seek Me earnestly:
15Отићи ћу и вратићу се на своје место докле не признају своју кривицу и потраже лице моје; кад буду у невољи тражиће ме.
