Baibal Olcim (Matupi Chin)
JPS Tanakh (Jewish Publication Society, 1917)
1Anunae aka rhoelrhak khaw na rhoelrhak yoe mahpawh, hnukpoh khaw a taengah hnukpoh yoe mahpawh. Na rhoelrhak bawt ah namah n'rhoelrhak ni, na hnukpoh bawt ah namah te n'hnukpoh thil uh van ni.
1Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! When thou hast ceased to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou art weary with dealing treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.
2BOEIPA kaimih he n'rhen lah, namah ni kan lamtawn uh. Mincang ah a bantha la, citcai tue vaengah kaimih ham khangnah la ha om lah.
2O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for Thee; be Thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
3Hlangping ol ah pilnam rhoek loh yong uh tih, na thoh vaengah namtom khaw haeh uh.
3At the noise of the tumult the peoples are fled; at the lifting up of Thyself the nations are scattered.
4Na kutbuem te cangah kah phol bangla kol ni. Kaisih cungpet bangla cu ni.
4And your spoil is gathered as the caterpillar gathereth; as locusts leap do they leap upon it.
5BOEIPA tah hmuensang la kho a sak dongah pomdoep rhoe pai saeh. Zion tah tiktamnah, duengnah neh a baetawt sak.
5The LORD is exalted, for He dwelleth on high; He hath filled Zion with justice and righteousness.
6Namah tue vaengkah khangnah khohrhang, cueihnah he uepomnah la om vetih BOEIPA hinyahnah neh mingnah te a thakvoh la om ni.
6And the stability of thy times shall be a hoard of salvation — wisdom and knowledge, and the fear of the LORD which is His treasure.
7Thinom te kawtpoeng ah a doek uh tih rhoepnah puencawn rhoek khaw bungbung rhap uh coeng ke.
7Behold, their valiant ones cry without; the ambassadors of peace weep bitterly.
8Longpuei rhoek khaw pong uh tih caehlong kah aka pongpa khaw kangkuen. Paipi te a phae tih khopuei rhoek te a sawtsit tih hlanghing la toeksap pawh.
8The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth; he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth not man.
9Khohmuen a tahah te a nguekcoi thil. Lebanon khaw tal tih tloih coeng. Sharon te a kolken bangla om coeng tih Bashan neh Karmel khaw congpet coeng.
9The land mourneth and languisheth; Lebanon is ashamed, it withereth; Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel are clean bare.
10BOEIPA loh, “Ka thoo pawn ni, ka pomsang uh pawn ni, ka pacuet uh pawn ni,” a ti.
10Now will I arise, saith the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift Myself up.
11Diphung la na vawn uh tih divawt na cun uh. Na hil dongkah hmai loh namah n'hlawp coeng.
11Ye conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble; your breath is a fire that shall devour you.
12Pilnam te tihkoi lungbok bangla om uh vetih, hling a vung bangla hmai neh a hlup uh ni.
12And the peoples shall be as the burnings of lime; as thorns cut down, that are burned in the fire.
13Ka saii te khohla loh ya pai lamtah ka thayung thamal he a yoei loh ming uh pai.
13Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge My might.
14Hlangtholh rhoek tah Zion ah rhi uh tih lailak rhoek loh thuennah a buem uh. Mamih khuiah hmai kah a hlawp la aka bakuep te unim? Kumhal hmaingen la mamih khuiah aka bakuep te unim?
14The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling hath seized the ungodly: 'Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?'
15Duengnah dongah aka pongpa tih vanat la aka thui, tlungalnah te mueluemnah ham aka tuei, kapbaih aka duen taeng lamloh a kut aka khong, thii long aka yaak ngaih taeng lamloh a hna aka buem, boethae aka hmu lamkah a mik aka him,
15He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from looking upon evil;
16anih tah hmuensang ah kho a sak vetih, rhalmahim thaelpang a imsang la om ni. A buh loh a khut vetih a tui loh a tangnah ni.
16He shall dwell on high; his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks; his bread shall be given, his waters shall be sure.
17Manghai kah a sakthen te na mik loh a hmuh khohla bangsang kho te khaw a hmuh ni.
17Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty; they shall behold a land stretching afar.
18Cadaek te ta? hno aka thuek te melae? rhaltoengim aka toek te melae? tila na lungbuei loh mueirhih te a thuep ni.
18Thy heart shall muse on the terror: 'Where is he that counted, where is he that weighed? Where is he that counted the towers?'
19Pilnam aka saan te na hmu voel mahpawh. Pilnam kah ol khuet neh tamdaeng ol n'yakmingnah pawt te khaw ya voel mahpawh.
19Thou shalt not see the fierce people; a people of a deep speech that thou canst not perceive, of a stammering tongue that thou canst not understand.
20Mamih kah tingtunnah khorha Zion ke so lah. Na mik loh mongkawt tolkhoeng Jerusalem te a hmuh bitni. Dap te puen pawt vetih a hlingcong khaw a yoeyah la phong mahpawh. A rhuihet te pakhat pataeng pat mahpawh.
20Look upon Zion, the city of our solemn gatherings; thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a peaceful habitation, a tent that shall not be removed, the stakes whereof shall never be plucked up, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.
21Aka khuet BOEIPA tah mamih ham a kut aka dangka sak sokko tuiva hmuen la om pahoi coeng. A soah lawngkaih kah sangpho khaw cet pawt vetih timbaw aka khuet khaw kat mahpawh.
21But there the LORD will be with us in majesty, in a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.
22BOEIPA loh mamih kah lai aka tloek tih, BOEIPA tah mamih aka taem la om. Mamih kah manghai BOEIPA, amah long ni mamih n'khang eh.
22For the LORD is our Judge, the LORD is our Lawgiver, the LORD is our King; He will save us.

23Thy tacklings are loosed; they do not hold the stand of their mast, they do not spread the sail; then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.
24Imben loh, “Ka tlo,” ti mahpawh. A khuikah pilnam khosa khaw thaesainah a phueih pah coeng.
24And the inhabitant shall not say: 'I am sick'; the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.
