1KE ku mai nei ke Akua iwnena o ke anaina alii; Oia ka i hooponopono iwaena o na akua.
1God presides in the divine assembly; He renders judgment among the gods:
2Pehea la ka loihi o ko oukou apono ana i ka hewa, A hoolana hoi i ka maka o ka poe lawehala? Sila.
2“How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah
3E hoopono oukou i ka mea nawaliwali, a me na keiki makua ole; E hoopololei hoi mamuli o ka poe pilikia, a me ka mea ilihune.
3Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; uphold the rights of the afflicted and oppressed.
4E hoopakele oukou i ka mea nawaliwali, a me ka mea nele; E kaili mai hoi ia lakou, mai ka lima mai o ka poe hewa.
4Rescue the weak and needy; save them from the hand of the wicked.
5Aole e ike lakou, aole hoi e hooponopono iho; Holoholo lakou ma ka pouli; Naueue hoi na kumu a pau o ka honua.
5They do not know or understand; they wander in the darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.
6Olelo aku la au, He poe akua oukou, He poe keiki no hoi oukou na ka Mea kiekie loa.
6I have said, ‘You are gods; you are all sons of the Most High.’
7Aka, e make no oukou e like me na kanaka, A e hina hoi e like me kekahi o na'lii.
7But like mortals you will die, and like rulers you will fall.”
8E ku mai oe, e ke Akua, e hooponopono i ko ka honua; No ka mea, e loaa ana no ia oe, iwaena o ko na aina a pau.
8Arise, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are Your inheritance.
