1The burden of Moab. Because in the night Ar of Moab is laid waste, it is silent: because the wall of Moab is destroyed in the night, it is silent.
1Gánh nặng về Mô-áp. Đang ban đêm, A-Mô-áp bị tàn phá và diệt mất; phải, trong ban đêm, Kiệt Mô-áp bị tàn phá và diệt mất!
2The house is gone up, and Dibon to the high places to mourn over Nabo, and over Medaba, Moab hath howled: ton all their heads shall be baldness, and every beard shall be shaven.
2Kìa, chúng lên nơi miếu các thần, đến Đi-hôn, trên các nơi cao mà khóc. Dân Mô-áp than vãn vì Nê-bô và Mê-đê-ba; mọi đầu đều sói, mọi râu đều cắt.
3In their streets they are girded with sackcloth: on the tops of their houses, and in their streets all shall howl and come down weeping.
3Thảy đều thắt bao gai trong các đường phố; thảy đều khóc lóc, sa nhiều nước mắt, trên nóc nhà và nơi sân chợ.
4Hesebon shall cry, and Eleale, their voice is heard even to Jasa. For this shall the well appointed men of Moab howl, his soul shall howl to itself.
4Hết-bôn và Ê-lê-a-lê kêu la, tiếng nghe thấu đến Gia-hát. Vậy nên linh chiến của Mô-áp đều than khóc, trong tâm thần run rẩy.
5My heart shall cry to Moab, the bars thereof shall flee unto Segor a heifer of three years old: for by the ascent of Luith they shall go up weeping: and in the way of Oronaim they shall lift up a cry of destruction.
5Lòng ta ngậm ngùi vì Mô-áp; kẻ sang nó trốn chạy đến Xoa, và đến Ê-lát-Sê-li-sia. Vì họ vừa trèo lên đèo Lu-hít vừa khóc; vì bại hoại mà kêu van trên con đường Hô-rô-na-im.
6For the waters of Nemrim shall be desolate, for the grass is withered away, the spring is faded, all the greenness is perished.
6Các dòng nước ở Nim-rim cạn tắt; cỏ khô, cỏ non chẳng có, không còn một vật xanh nào.
7According to the greatness of their work, is their visitation also: they shall lead them to the torrent of the willows.
7Vậy nên, những của cải đã được, và những đồ báu đã chứa, họ đều mang sang khe liễu.
8For the cry is gone round about the border of Moab: the howling thereof unto Gallim, and unto the well of Elim the cry thereof.
8Tiếng kêu khóc thảm thương nghe khắp chung quanh bờ cõi Mô-áp; tiếng van la thấu đến Ê-la-im, và đến Bê-e-Ê-lim.
9For the waters of Dibon are filled with blood: for I will bring more upon Dibon: the lion upon them that shall flee of Moab, and upon the remnant of the land.
9Sông ngòi ở Đi-môn đầy những máu; vì ta sẽ còn thêm tai vạ cho Đi-môn, sai sư tử đuổi kịp những người Mô-áp thoát nạn, và những kẻ còn sót lại trong xứ.
