Testamenta Marra (Dieri New Testament)
Douay-Rheims Bible, American Edition (1899)
1Ja Nulu mili nunkani marapratjana ja mandru matja karkana, Nulu tanangu ngurula jinkina wonti kutji murumuruja, tanana dunkalkananto ja tepi ngankananto muntja pratjana ja waltowalto pratjana.
1And having called his twelve disciples together, he gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of diseases, and all manner of infirmities.
2Mili marapratjana ja mandruja tala tanapini nganai: „Ngopera Simon, nina tanali dikai «Petrus» ja Andreas, ngatata nunkani; Jakobus, Zebedäuni ngatamura, ja Johannes, ngatata nunkani;
2And the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother,
3Philippus ja Bartholomäus; Thomas ja Matthäus mardatandrakampanietja; Jakobus Alphäuni ngatamura, ja Leppäus, nina tanali dikai «Thaddäus»;
3James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, Philip and Bartholomew, Thomas and Matthew the publican, and James the son of Alpheus, and Thaddeus,
4Simon, Kana ngurandru ja Judas Iskarioth, nulu nina wondawondana wonti.“
4Simon the Cananean, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
5Tananapini marapratjana ja mandru Jesujeli jinpana wonti, ja Nulu tanangu jirijiribana wonti ja jatana wonti: „Kana koja paltuni jura wata wapananto, ja Samarita ngurani jura wata wirinanto;
5These twelve Jesus sent: commanding them, saying: Go ye not into the way of the Gentiles, and into the city of the Samaritans enter ye not.
6A‐ai, windri tjipia wapanau, tana Israel pungandru tintaterinala.
6But go ye rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7Wapanau ja kaukaubanimai, ja jatanimai: «Pariwilpaia milila karakara nganai.»
7And going, preach, saying: The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
8Muntja tepi ngankanimai, kana gambanto kulikiri ngankanimai, kana nari jiritjibanimai, kutji dunkalkanimai; bakujeli jura matja manina, bakujeli jinkianimai.
8Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out devils: freely have you received, freely give.
9Jura wata mardatandra maralje, bakana wata mardatandra bulu, bakana wata mardatandra nguja pilki pailtjini juranani ngamalkananto;
9Do not possess gold, nor silver, nor money in your purses:
10Wata billi paltuja, bakana wata kati mandru, bakana wata tidnaputa, bakana wata wonapita; ngangau ngankanietjani talku nganai buka nunkani.
10Nor scrip for your journey, nor two coats, nor shoes, nor a staff; for the workman is worthy of his meat.
11Mina ngura pirnani kara, ngura wakani kara jura matja wirina, wolja jakalkanau, worana nunkangu talku nganai; naka ngamanimai, jura puntilalu.
11And into whatsoever city or town you shall enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and there abide till you go thence.
12Jura pungani wirinani, nunkangu jaura murlali jinkianimai.
12And when you come into the house, salute it, saying: Peace be to this house.
13Punga kara talku ngananani, murla jurani nunkangupini wokarananto, nau wata talku kara ngananani, murla jurani jurangu karitjina tikananto.
13And if that house be worthy, your peace shall come upon it; but if it be not worthy, your peace shall return to you.
14Ja warle jurana wata patanani, bakana jaura jurani wata ngaranani, nunkangupini pungandru kara ngurandru kara puntianimai, ja puturu jurani tidnandru kantikantianimai.
14And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words: going forth out of that house or city shake off the dust from your feet.
15Morlalu ngani jurangu jatai: «Sodoma ja Gomorra mitalali kalala morla waka manila nganai kalala ditjini nunkangupini ngurani.»
15Amen I say to you, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
16Mai, ngato jurana jinpai tjipi jeribaka pandipandi mandrani; kiri ngananau tjutju jeribaka ja jedini pani mulapara jeribaka.
16Behold I send you as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be ye therefore wise as serpents and simple as doves.
17Ngamalkaterianau kanandru; ngangau tanali jurana kapara worangu ngulkujeli jinkila nganai ja jaura pungani tananani jurana wiriele nandrala nganai.
17But beware of men. For they will deliver you up in councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues.
18Bakana najinajibanietjani ja mitaia kaparani tanali jurana wapalkala nganai ngakangundru, tanangu ja kana koni malka morlalu nganananto.
18And you shall be brought before governors, and before kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the Gentiles:
19Tanali jurana ngulkujeli jinkinani, wata manujeli ngundranau, worderu kara, mina kara jura jatananto; ngangau Nulia jurangu nunkangupini ditjini jinkila nganai, mina jura jatananto.
19But when they shall deliver you up, take no thought how or what to speak: for it shall be given you in that hour what to speak.
20Ngangau wata jura jatai, a‐ai, jurani Ngaperaia Jaola jatai jurangu.
20For it is not you that speak, but the Spirit of your Father that speaketh in you.
21Nejieli ngatata nunkani naria ngulkujeli jinkila nganai, ja ngaperali kupa nunkani; ja kupa terkakala nganai ngaperani ja ngandrini ja pudlana naria jinkila nganai.
21The brother also shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the son: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and shall put them to death.
22Ja kana warupoto jurangu kalakalarila nganai ngakani talandru. Worana wonki nganai ngadajelu, nulu tepi ngurali manila nganai.
22And you shall be hated by all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall persevere unto the end, he shall be saved.
23Tana jurangu tirikaripaterinani ngura kulnuni ngura nguruja mindrianau. Ngangau morlalu ngani jurangu jatai: «Jura Israelaia ngura pratjana wata mudala nganai Kanaia Ngatamura wokaranantulu.»
23And when they shall persecute you in this city, flee into another. Amen I say to you, you shall not finish all the cities of Israel, till the Son of man come.
24Mili wata morla pirna nganai ngujangujara jinkinietjani, bakana ngankanietja wata morla pirna kaparani nunkanani.
24The disciple is not above the master, nor the servant above his lord.
25Milini matja nganai, nau ngujangujara jinkinietjani nunkanani jeribaka pantjinani, ja ngankanietjani kaparani nunkanani jeribaka. Tanali punga ngamalkanietja Beelsebub matja dikana, worderu morla pungaia ngurula nunkani?
25It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the goodman of the house Beelzebub, how much more them of his household?
26Wata tanangundru japali ngananau! Ngangau panila kurirpi nganai, nau wata tinkari pantjila nganai; ja panila kurukuru nganai, nina tanali wata ngujamala nganai.
26Therefore fear them not. For nothing is covered that shall not be revealed: nor hid, that shall not be known.
27Mina ngani jurangu jatai ngalpurani, jenia kaukaubanimai praitjani; ja mina jura kurukuru ngarai talpali, jenia kaukaubanimai punga mangatandrani.
27That which I tell you in the dark, speak ye in the light: and that which you hear in the ear, preach ye upon the housetops.
28Wata japali ngananau tanangundru, tanali palku nari ngankai, ja ngandandariai mungara nari ngankala; morla japali ngananau nunkangundru, Nauja ngurunguru nganai, palku ja mungara turuja teribala.
28And fear ye not them that kill the body, and are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him that can destroy both soul and body in hell.
29Tanali wata tiwilitja mandru mardatandra wakawaka kulnundru jinkimaliai? Ja wata kulno tanangundru mitani purila nganai jurani Ngaperani panini.
29Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father.
30Bakana para pratjana jurani mangatandrani matja windamana.
30But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31Wata japali ngananau; jura morla pirna nganai tiwilitja marapuni.
31Fear not therefore: better are you than many sparrows.
32Warle ngana dikala nganai kanani, nina bakana ngato dikala nganai Ngaperani ngakanani pariwilpani.
32Every one therefore that shall confess me before men, I will also confess him before my Father who is in heaven.
33Warle ngana kutikutibala nganai kanani, nina bakana ngato kutikutibala nganai Ngaperani ngakanani pariwilpani.
33But he that shall deny me before men, I will also deny him before my Father who is in heaven.
34Wata ngundranau, ngani wokarana warai, murla kurala mitani; a‐ai, ngani wata wokarana warai murla kurala, windri kalti tiri.
34Do not think that I came to send peace upon earth: I came not to send peace, but the sword.
35Ngangau ngani wokarana warai, puntibala materi ja ngaperi nunkani, mankara ja ngandri nankani, kalari ja paiara nankani;
35For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36Ja pungaia ngurala kanaia talpala nganala nganai.
36And as a man’s enemies shall be they of his own household.
37Warle ngaperi kara, ngandri kara morla ngantjai ngakangu, nau ngakangu wata talku nganai; ja warle kaku kara, mankara kara morla ngantjai ngakangu, nau ngakangu wata talku nganai.
37He that loveth father or mother more than me, is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me, is not worthy of me.
38Ja warle kunarku nunkani wata maniai ja ngakangu karipateriai, nau ngakangu wata talku nganai.
38And he that taketh not up his cross, and followeth me, is not worthy of me.
39Warle tepi nunkani mankamankana warai, nulu nina tintala nganai, ja warle tepi nunkani tintana warai ngakangundru, nulu nina mankamankala nganai.
39He that findeth his life, shall lose it: and he that shall lose his life for me, shall find it.
40Warle jurana patai, nulu ngana patai; ja warle ngana patai, nulu ninaia patai, Nulia ngana jinpanala.
40He that receiveth you, receiveth me: and he that receiveth me, receiveth him that sent me.
41Warle Propheta kulno patai Prophetaia talani, nulu Prophetaia kalala manila nganai; ja warle kana talku patai kana talkuja talani, nulu kana talkuja kalala manila nganai.
41He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet, shall receive the reward of a prophet: and he that receiveth a just man in the name of a just man, shall receive the reward of a just man.
42Ja warle kulnuni tanangupini wakawakandru koko kulno ngapa malti jinkila nganai milia talani, morlalu ngani jurangu jatai: «Nulu kalala nunkani wata tintala nganai.»“
42And whosoever shall give to drink to one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, amen I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.
