1ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ϭⲣⲟ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲑⲱⲧ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧϣⲁⲛ⳿ⲑⲙⲁϧⲧ ⲡⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩϣⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ.
1Therefore if you have any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any affection and compassion,
2ⲙⲁϩ ⲡⲁⲣⲁϣⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⳿ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲣⲱ ⲧⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣ ⳿ⲙⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ.
2then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being united in spirit and purpose.
3⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩ⳿ϣϭⲛⲏⲛ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲁⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥϣⲟⲩⲓⲧ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏ ⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲭⲱ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏ ⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲟⲧⲉⲃ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ.
3Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves.
4⳿ⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϯ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲑⲏ ϥ ⲁⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲁ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ.
4Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
5ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲫⲏ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅.
5Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus:
6ⲫⲏⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲟⲣⲫⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϩⲱⲗⲉⲙ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲁϥⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲑⲣⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϩⲩⲥⲱⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲫϯ.
6Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁϥϣⲟⲩⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁϥϭⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲟⲣⲫⲏ ⳿ⲙⲃⲱⲕ ⳿ⲉⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉⲁⲩϫⲉⲙϥ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲥⲭⲏⲙⲁ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ.
7but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness.
8ⲁϥⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟϥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⳿ⲉⲁϥⲉⲣⲣⲉϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ϣⲁ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩ.̇
8And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross.
9ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲁ ⲫϯ ⲉⲣϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ ϭⲁⲥϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲣ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲁⲛ ⲫⲏⲉⲧϭⲟⲥⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ.
9Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names,
10ϩⲓⲛⲁ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲫⲣⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛⲒⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲕⲉⲗⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲕⲱⲗϫ ⲛⲁ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲁ ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲁ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲥⲁⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ.
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲗⲁⲥ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ Ⲡ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉⲩⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⳿ⲫⲓⲱⲧ.
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12ϩⲱⲥⲧⲉ ⲛⲁⲙⲉⲛⲣⲁϯ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣ ⲣⲉϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁϫⲓⲛ⳿ⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ ⲙⲁⲗⲗⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛϯ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲟϯ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲥⲑⲉⲣⲧⲉⲣ ⲁⲣⲓϩⲱⲃ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ.
12Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now even more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
13ⲫϯ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ ϯⲙⲁϯ.
13For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.
14ⲁⲣⲓϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲁⲧϭⲛⲉ ⳿ⲭⲣⲉⲙⲣⲉⲙ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲙⲟⲕⲙⲉⲕ.
14Do everything without complaining or arguing,
15ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁⲧⲁⲣⲓⲕⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲁⲕⲉⲣⲉⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲁⲃ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲑⲙⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲅⲉⲛⲉ⳿ⲁ ⲉⲥⲕⲱⲗϫ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲥⲫⲱⲛϩ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛϩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϧⲏ ⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲟⲥⲙⲟⲥ.
15so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine as lights in the world
16ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡⲱⲛϧ ⲉⲩϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⲛⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲠⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ϭⲟϫⲓ ⲁⲛ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϣⲟⲩⲓⲧ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲁⲓϣⲉⲡϧⲓⲥⲓ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉⲧϣⲟⲩⲓⲧ.
16as you hold forth the word of life, in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.
17ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲉⲣ ⳿ⲡⲕⲉⲟⲩⲟⲧⲛⲉⲧ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓϣⲟⲩϣⲱⲟⲩϣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲫⲱϣⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ϯⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϯⲉⲣ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣ ⳿ⲛⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ.
17But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.
18ϧⲉⲛ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲣⲁϣⲓ ϩⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲣⲓ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣ ⳿ⲛⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ.
18So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.
19ϯⲉⲣϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⲇⲉ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲡ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲓⲙⲟⲑⲉⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲭⲱⲗⲉⲙ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲁϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲙⲧⲟⲛ ⲁⲓϣⲁⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲓⲛⲓ.
19Now I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered when I learn how you are doing.
20⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲏⲓ ⲉϥϣⲏϣ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧⲁⲯⲩⲭⲏ ⲉϥⲛⲁϥⲓ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲣⲱⲟⲩϣ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲧⲟⲩⲃⲟ.
20I have nobody else like him who will genuinely care for your needs.
21ⲁⲩⲕⲱϯ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲟⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁⲛ.
21For all the others look after their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.
22ⲧⲉϥⲇⲟⲕⲓⲙⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲓⲱⲧ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲃⲱⲕ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲉⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲓⲟⲛ.
22But you know Timothy’s proven worth, that as a child with his father he has served with me to advance the gospel.
23ⲫⲁⲓ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲛ ϯⲉⲣϩⲉⲗⲡⲓⲥ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲟⲣⲡϥ ⲁⲓϣⲁⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲥⲁⲧⲟⲧ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲛⲉⲧϣⲟⲡ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲓ.
23So I hope to send him as soon as I see what happens with me.
24ⲡⲁϩⲏⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲑⲏⲧ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲡ⳪ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϯⲛⲁ⳿ⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲭⲱⲗⲉⲙ.
24And I trust in the Lord that I myself will come soon.
25ⲟⲩⲁⲛⲁⲅⲕⲉⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲓⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲉⲡⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲟⲇⲓⲧⲟⲥ ⲡⲓⲥⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣ ⳿ⲛⲣⲉϥⲉⲣϩⲱⲃ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲁ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲧⲟⲓ ⲉϥⲟⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲣⲉϥⲫⲱϣⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲧⲁ⳿ⲭⲣⲓⲁ.
25But I thought it necessary to send back to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker, and fellow soldier, who is also your messenger and minister to my needs.
26ⲉⲡⲓⲇⲏ ⲛⲁϥⲙⲉⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁϥⲙⲟⲕϩ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ϫⲉ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ϫⲉ ⲁϥϣⲱⲛⲓ.
26For he has been longing for all of you and is distressed because you heard he was ill.
27ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁϥϣⲱⲛⲓ ϣⲁⲧⲉϥϧⲱⲛⲧ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲫϯ ⲛⲁϥ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛⲏⲓ ϩⲱ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙϭ ⲓ ⳿ⲙⲕⲁϩ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲕⲁϩ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲟⲛ.
27He was sick indeed, nearly unto death. But God had mercy on him, and not only on him but also on me, to spare me sorrow upon sorrow.
28ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲓⲏⲥ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲁⲓⲟⲩⲟⲣⲡϥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϣⲁⲛⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲡⲁⲗⲓⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲉϣⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲕⲁϩ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ.
28Therefore I am all the more eager to send him, so that when you see him again you may rejoice, and I may be less anxious.
29ϣⲟⲡϥ ⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϧⲉⲛ Ⲡ⳪ ϧⲉⲛ ⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲙⲁⲣⲟⲩϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉⲩⲧⲁⲓⲧⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ.
29Welcome him in the Lord with great joy, and honor men like him,
30ϫⲉ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡⲓϩⲱⲃ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲁϥϧⲱⲛⲧ ϣⲁ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲫⲙⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲁϥⲉⲣⲡⲁⲣⲁⲃⲟⲗⲉⲩⲉⲥⲑⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥⲯⲩⲭⲏ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥⲙⲁϩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛϭⲣⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲫⲱϣⲉⲛ ⲉⲧϭⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲓ
30because he nearly died for the work of Christ, risking his life to make up for your deficit of service to me.
