1那时， 利未 人的众族长来到祭司 以利亚撒 和 嫩 的儿子 约书亚 ，并 以色列 各支派的族长面前，
1Now the family heads of the Levites approached Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the other tribes of Israel
2在 迦南 地的 示罗 对他们说：「从前耶和华借着 摩西 吩咐给我们城邑居住，并城邑的郊野可以牧养我们的牲畜。」
2at Shiloh in the land of Canaan and said to them, “The LORD commanded through Moses that we be given cities in which to live, together with pasturelands for our livestock.”
3于是 以色列 人照耶和华所吩咐的，从自己的地业中，将以下所记的城邑和城邑的郊野给了 利未 人。
3So by the command of the LORD, the Israelites gave the Levites these cities and their pasturelands out of their own inheritance:
4为 哥辖 族拈阄： 利未 人的祭司、 亚伦 的子孙，从 犹大 支派、 西缅 支派、 便雅悯 支派的地业中，按阄得了十三座城。
4The first lot came out for the Kohathite clans. The Levites who were descendants of Aaron the priest received thirteen cities by lot from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin.
5哥辖 其余的子孙，从 以法莲 支派、 但 支派、 玛拿西 半支派的地业中，按阄得了十座城。
5The remaining descendants of Kohath received ten cities by lot from the tribes of Ephraim, Dan, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.
6革顺 的子孙，从 以萨迦 支派、 亚设 支派、 拿弗他利 支派、住 巴珊 的 玛拿西 半支派的地业中，按阄得了十三座城。
6The descendants of Gershon received thirteen cities by lot from the tribes of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.
7米拉利 的子孙，按着宗族，从 吕便 支派、 迦得 支派、 西布伦 支派的地业中， 按阄 得了十二座城。
7And the descendants of Merari received twelve cities from the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.
8以色列 人照着耶和华借 摩西 所吩咐的，将这些城邑和城邑的郊野，按阄分给 利未 人。
8So the Israelites allotted to the Levites these cities, together with their pasturelands, as the LORD had commanded through Moses.
9从 犹大 支派、 西缅 支派的地业中，将以下所记的城给了 利未 支派 哥辖 宗族 亚伦 的子孙；因为给他们拈出头一阄，
9From the tribes of Judah and Simeon, they designated these cities by name
no verse 10 in this text
10to the descendants of Aaron from the Kohathite clans of the Levites, because the first lot fell to them:
11将 犹大 山地的 基列·亚巴 和四围的郊野给了他们。 亚巴 是 亚衲 族的始祖。（ 基列·亚巴 就是 希伯 ）。
11They gave them Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), with its surrounding pasturelands, in the hill country of Judah. (Arba was the father of Anak.)

12But they had given the fields and villages around the city to Caleb son of Jephunneh as his possession.

13So to the descendants of Aaron the priest they gave these cities, together with their pasturelands: Hebron, a city of refuge for the manslayer, Libnah,

15Holon, Debir,

16Ain, Juttah, and Beth-shemesh—nine cities from these two tribes, together with their pasturelands.

17And from the tribe of Benjamin they gave them Gibeon, Geba,

19In all, thirteen cities, together with their pasturelands, were given to the priests, the descendants of Aaron.

20The remaining Kohathite clans of the Levites were allotted these cities: From the tribe of Ephraim

21they were given Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim (a city of refuge for the manslayer), Gezer,

22Kibzaim, and Beth-horon—four cities, together with their pasturelands.

25And from the half-tribe of Manasseh they were given Taanach and Gath-rimmon—two cities, together with their pasturelands.

26In all, ten cities, together with their pasturelands, were given to the rest of the Kohathite clans.

27This is what the Levite clans of the Gershonites were given: From the half-tribe of Manasseh they were given Golan in Bashan, a city of refuge for the manslayer, and Beeshterah—two cities, together with their pasturelands.
28又从 以萨迦 支派的地业中给了他们 基善 和属城的郊野， 大比拉 和属城的郊野，
28From the tribe of Issachar they were given Kishion, Daberath,
29耶末 和属城的郊野， 隐·干宁 和属城的郊野，共四座城；
29Jarmuth, and En-gannim—four cities, together with their pasturelands.

30From the tribe of Asher they were given Mishal, Abdon,
31黑甲 和属城的郊野， 利合 和属城的郊野，共四座城；
31Helkath, and Rehob—four cities, together with their pasturelands.

32And from the tribe of Naphtali they were given Kedesh in Galilee (a city of refuge for the manslayer), Hammoth-dor, and Kartan—three cities, together with their pasturelands.
33革顺 人按着宗族 所得的 城，共十三座，还有属城的郊野。
33In all, thirteen cities, together with their pasturelands, were given to the Gershonite clans.
34其余 利未 支派 米拉利 子孙，从 西布伦 支派的地业中所得的，就是 约念 和属城的郊野， 加珥他 和属城的郊野，
34This is what the Merarite clan (the rest of the Levites) were given: From the tribe of Zebulun they were given Jokneam, Kartah,
35丁拿 和属城的郊野， 拿哈拉 和属城的郊野，共四座城；
35Dimnah, and Nahalal—four cities, together with their pasturelands.
36又从 吕便 支派的地业中给了他们 比悉 和属城的郊野， 雅杂 和属城的郊野，
36From the tribe of Reuben they were given Bezer, Jahaz,
37基底莫 和属城的郊野， 米法押 和属城的郊野，共四座城；
37Kedemoth, and Mephaath—four cities, together with their pasturelands.
38又从 迦得 支派的地业中，将 基列 的 拉末 ，就是误杀人的逃城和属城的郊野，给了他们；又给他们 玛哈念 和属城的郊野，
38And from the tribe of Gad they were given Ramoth in Gilead, a city of refuge for the manslayer, Mahanaim,
39希实本 和属城的郊野， 雅谢 和属城的郊野，共四座城。
39Heshbon, and Jazer—four cities in all, together with their pasturelands.
40其余 利未 支派的人，就是 米拉利 的子孙，按着宗族拈阄所得的，共十二座城。
40In all, twelve cities were allotted to the clans of Merari, the remaining Levite clans.
41利未 人在 以色列 人的地业中所得的城，共四十八座，并有属城的郊野。
41For the Levites, then, there were forty-eight cities in all, together with their pasturelands, within the territory of the Israelites.
42这些城四围都有属城的郊野，城城都是如此。
42Each of these cities had its own surrounding pasturelands; this was true for all the cities.
43这样，耶和华将从前向他们列祖起誓所应许的全地赐给 以色列 人，他们就得了为业，住在其中。
43Thus the LORD gave Israel all the land He had sworn to give their fathers, and they took possession of it and settled in it.
44耶和华照着向他们列祖起誓所应许的一切话，使他们四境平安；他们一切仇敌中，没有一人在他们面前站立得住。耶和华把一切仇敌都交在他们手中。
44And the LORD gave them rest on every side, just as He had sworn to their fathers. None of their enemies could stand against them, for the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45耶和华应许赐福给 以色列 家的话一句也没有落空，都应验了。
45Not one of all the LORD’s good promises to the house of Israel had failed; everything was fulfilled.
