1Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy, for in You my soul takes refuge. In the shadow of Your wings I will take shelter until the danger has passed.
2Kai han hmuennawk boih sahkung Sithaw, Kasang koek Sithaw khaeah ka hang han.
2I cry out to God Most High, to God who fulfills His purpose for me.
3Anih mah van hoiah patoeh ueloe, kai caak han koeh kami mah kasaethuihaih thung hoiah na pahlong tih. Sithaw mah a palungnathaih hoi a loktang lok to patoeh tih. Selah .
3He reaches down from heaven and saves me; He rebukes those who trample me. Selah God sends forth His loving devotion and His truth.
4Ka hinghaih loe kaipui salakah oh; kai loe hmawsaeng kaminawk salakah kang song, nihcae ih haa loe tayae hoi palaa baktiah oh, palainawk loe kanoe parai sumsen baktiah oh.
4My soul is among the lions; I lie down with ravenous beasts— with men whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are sharp swords.
5Aw Sithaw, nang loe, vannawk ranui khoek to lensawk nasoe; na lensawkhaih loe long boenghaih khoek to om nasoe.
5Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; may Your glory cover all the earth.
6Nihcae loe ka caehhaih loklam ah palok to payang o, ka hinghaih thazok sut boeh; nihcae loe ka hmaa ah tangqom takaeh o moe, angmacae ih tangqom thungah a krak o. Selah .
6They spread a net for my feet; my soul was despondent. They dug a pit before me, but they themselves have fallen into it! Selah
7Aw Sithaw, ka palungthin loe cak, ka palungthin loe cak rap; laa to ka sak han, pakoehhaih laa to ka sak han.
7My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast. I will sing and make music.
8Ka hinghaih, angthawk ah! Katoeng hoi tamoinawk, angthawk oh! Kai doeh kang thawk palang han.
8Awake, my glory! Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.
9Aw Angraeng, kaminawk salakah, nang kang pakoeh han; prae kaminawk salakah doeh nang khaeah laa ka sak han.
9I will praise You, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing Your praises among the peoples.
10Tipongah tih nahaeloe nam lunghaih loe vannawk khoek to len moe, na loktang lok loe tamainawk khoek to phak boeh.
10For Your loving devotion reaches to the heavens, and Your faithfulness to the clouds.
