Revelation 18

Berean Standard Bible
Kadede Kap (Pohnpeian New Testament and Psalms)
1After this I saw another angel descending from heaven with great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his glory.
1MURIN mepukat i kilaner amen tounlan kodido jan lan, me manaman kaualap, o jappa marain kila a linan.
2And he cried out in a mighty voice: “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a lair for demons and a haunt for every unclean spirit, every unclean bird, and every detestable beast.
2A kotin molipeki kapitie laud majani: A ronk pajan, o ronk pajan, Papilon lapalap, ap id wiala deun tewil akan, o deun nen jaut karoj, o deun manpir jamin, o katantat.
3All the nations have drunk the wine of the passion of her immorality. The kings of the earth were immoral with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown wealthy from the extravagance of her luxury.”
3Pwe wei karoj nim jan wain makar en a nenek, o nanmarki en jappa neneker re a, o jaunet en jappa kapwapwakier a kapwa kajampwal akan.
4Then I heard another voice from heaven say: “Come out of her, My people, so that you will not share in her sins or contract any of her plagues.
4O i roner eu nil jan lan majani: Ko wei jan i nai aramaj akan, pwe komail der ainekida dip ar kan, pwe komail der pukoki kompar akan.
5For her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.
5Pwe dip a kan lel oner lan, o Kot kotin tamanda a jued akan.
6Give back to her as she has done to others; pay her back double for what she has done; mix her a double portion in her own cup.
6Depuk on i, duen pein i wiadar! O depuk on i pan ria pak, duen a mau on a wiawia kan; dal o, me a audedar, i dal ota komail aude on i pan riapak!
7As much as she has glorified herself and lived in luxury, give her the same measure of torment and grief. In her heart she says, ‘I sit as queen; I am not a widow and will never see grief.’
7Duen a kin kalinanda pein i, o kamuei matier, iei due ki on I kalokepa o kajonlolpa, pwe a moneloleki: Nai nanmarki li amen, o i jo pan li odi, o i jota pan kilan mejued kot.
8Therefore her plagues will come in one day— death and grief and famine— and she will be consumed by fire, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.”
8I me kompa kan pan lel on i ni ran ota: Mela, o maiei, o lek, o a pan ron kila kijiniai, pwe Kaun Kot me manaman, me kadeikada i;
9Then the kings of the earth who committed sexual immorality and lived in luxury with her will weep and wail at the sight of the smoke rising from the fire that consumes her.
9O nanmarki en jappa kan, me nenek re a, o muei mat jan i, re pan maieiki, o weriwereki i ni ar kilan adiniai en a ronala.
10In fear of her torment, they will stand at a distance and cry out: “Woe, woe to the great city, the mighty city of Babylon! For in a single hour your judgment has come.”
10O re pan u waja doo waponki a kamekam indada: Apwal, apwal Papilon, kanim lapalap, Papilon kanim kelail! Ni aur ta ieu kadeik paom pwaida.
11And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, because there is no one left to buy their cargo—
11O jaunet en jappa kan maiei o janejanki i, pwe jota amen me neti ar kapwa kan.
12cargo of gold, silver, precious stones, and pearls; of fine linen, purple, silk, and scarlet; of all kinds of citron wood and every article of ivory, precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble;
13of cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, and frankincense; of wine, olive oil, fine flour, and wheat; of cattle, sheep, horses, and chariots; of slaves and souls of men.
13O jimet, o potik, o men ijij, o me pomau, o pomau en ijij, o wain, o le, o plaua kajampwal, o wan wit, o man akan, o man jip, o oj akan, o dake pan oj, o ladu kan, o nen en aramaj akan,
14And they will say: “The fruit of your soul’s desire has departed from you; all your luxury and splendor have vanished, never to be seen again.”
14O wan tuka kan, me kaped om kin iauki, roje jan uk er, o dipijou linan o kajelel roje jan uk er, a jolar pan diarokada kokolata.
15The merchants who sold these things and grew their wealth from her will stand at a distance, in fear of her torment. They will weep and mourn,
15Jaunet en mepukat, me kapwapwadar re a, me pan u waja doo, wapon kida a kamekam janejan o mamaiei.
16saying: “Woe, woe to the great city, clothed in fine linen and purple and scarlet, adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls!
16Indinda: Apwal, apwal kanim lapalap, me kapwadeki likau ankotitik, o tol, o waitata, o kapwadeki kold, o takai kajampwal, o manaman!
17For in a single hour such fabulous wealth has been destroyed!” Every shipmaster, passenger, and sailor, and all who make their living from the sea, will stand at a distance
17Pwe ni auer ta ieu kapwa toto pukat olar. O jaupal en jop, o ir, me toun jop, o jeler akan, o jaunet en nan madau, ir uda waja doo.
18and cry out at the sight of the smoke rising from the fire that consumes her. “What city was ever like this great city?” they will exclaim.
18O weriwereda, ni ar kilaner adiniai en a ijij, indinda: Ia kanim, me rajon kanim lapalap wet!
19Then they will throw dust on their heads as they weep and mourn and cry out: “Woe, woe to the great city, where all who had ships on the sea were enriched by her wealth! For in a single hour she has been destroyed.”
19Irail tukatuk en mon wereda, janejan, mamaiei, indinda: Apwal apwal kanim lapalap! Tou a, me ar jop akan mi nan madau, kapwapwalar, pwe a neti re a mulatokia. Ni auer ta ieu a mokonaidier.
20Rejoice over her, O heaven, O saints and apostles and prophets, because God has pronounced for you His judgment against her.
20Kaneketeki i lan, o jaraui kan, o wanporon kan, o jaukop akan, pwe Kot me kotin iki on I komail.
21Then a mighty angel picked up a stone the size of a great millstone and cast it into the sea, saying: “With such violence the great city of Babylon will be cast down, never to be seen again.
21Tounlan rojon amen pokada takai due takai lap men irij plaua, ap kajedi on madau, majani: Iduen Papilon kanim lap pan karonk pajan, ap pan jolar mia.
22And the sound of harpists and musicians, of flute players and trumpeters, will never ring out in you again. Nor will any craftsmen of any trade be found in you again, nor the sound of a millstone be heard in you again.
22Nil en me wia arp akan o kakaul akan, o me peuk kajan plote, o me peuk koronete, pan jolar me pan ron re a, o jolar jaupal, me pan diarok lol om, o nirjok en takai irij plaua jolar me pan ron lol om.
23The light of a lamp will never shine in you again, and the voices of a bride and bridegroom will never call out in you again. For your merchants were the great ones of the earth, because all the nations were deceived by your sorcery.”
23O marain en lamp pan jolar jenjer lol om, o nil en ol kamod o li kamod jolar me pan ron lol om, pwe noum jaunet akan, jaumaj en jappa, kainok karoj pakotaue kilar om widin kan.
24And there was found in her the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who had been slain on the earth.
