1As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, “Teacher, look at the magnificent stones and buildings!”
1耶穌從殿裏出來的時候，有一個門徒對他說：「夫子，請看，這是何等的石頭！何等的殿宇！」
2“Do you see all these great buildings?” Jesus replied. “Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”
2耶穌對他說：「你看見這大殿宇嗎？將來在這裏沒有一塊石頭留在石頭上，不被拆毀了。」
3While Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked Him privately,
3耶穌在 橄欖山 上對 聖 殿而坐。 彼得 、 雅各 、 約翰 ，和 安得烈 暗暗地問他說：
4“Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to be fulfilled?”

5Jesus began by telling them, “See to it that no one deceives you.
5耶穌說：「你們要謹慎，免得有人迷惑你們。
6Many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am He,’ and will deceive many.
6將來有好些人冒我的名來，說：『我是 基督 』，並且要迷惑許多人。
7When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come.
7你們聽見打仗和打仗的風聲，不要驚慌。 這些事 是必須有的，只是末期還沒有到。
8Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, as well as famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.
8民要攻打民，國要攻打國；多處必有地震、饑荒。這都是災難的起頭。
9So be on your guard. You will be delivered over to the councils and beaten in the synagogues. On My account you will stand before governors and kings as witnesses to them.
9但你們要謹慎；因為人要把你們交給公會， 並且你們在會堂裏要受鞭打，又為我的緣故站在諸侯與君王面前，對他們作見證。
10And the gospel must first be proclaimed to all the nations.
10然而，福音必須先傳給萬民。
11But when they arrest you and hand you over, do not worry beforehand what to say. Instead, speak whatever you are given at that time, for it will not be you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
11人把你們拉去交官的時候，不要預先思慮說甚麼；到那時候，賜給你們甚麼話，你們就說甚麼；因為說話的不是你們，乃是聖靈。
12Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rise against their parents and have them put to death.
12弟兄要把弟兄，父親要把兒子，送到死地；兒女要起來與父母為敵，害死他們；
13You will be hated by everyone because of My name, but the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.
13並且你們要為我的名被眾人恨惡。惟有忍耐到底的，必然得救。」
14So when you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
14「你們看見那行毀壞可憎的，站在不當站的地方（讀 這經 的人須要會意）。那時，在 猶太 的，應當逃到山上；
15Let no one on the housetop go back inside to retrieve anything from his house.
15在房上的，不要下來，也不要進去拿家裏的東西；
16And let no one in the field return for his cloak.
16在田裏的，也不要回去取衣裳。
17How miserable those days will be for pregnant and nursing mothers!
17當那些日子，懷孕的和奶孩子的有禍了！
18Pray that this will not occur in the winter.
18你們應當祈求，叫這些事不在冬天臨到。
19For those will be days of tribulation unmatched from the beginning of God’s creation until now, and never to be seen again.
19因為在那些日子必有災難，自從上帝創造萬物直到如今，並沒有這樣的災難，後來也必沒有。
20If the Lord had not cut short those days, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom He has chosen, He has cut them short.
20若不是主減少那日子，凡有血氣的，總沒有一個得救的；只是為主的選民，他將那日子減少了。
21At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is!’ do not believe it.
21那時若有人對你們說：『看哪，基督在這裏』，或說：『基督在那裏』，你們不要信！
22For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders that would deceive even the elect, if that were possible.
22因為假基督、假先知將要起來，顯神蹟奇事，倘若能行，就把選民迷惑了。
23So be on your guard; I have told you everything in advance.
23你們要謹慎。看哪，凡事我都預先告訴你們了。」
24But in those days, after that tribulation: ‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light;
24「在那些日子，那災難以後， 日頭要變黑了， 月亮也不放光，
25the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’
25眾星要從天上墜落， 天勢都要震動。
26At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
26那時，他們要看見人子有大能力、大榮耀，駕雲降臨。
27And He will send out the angels to gather His elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.
27他要差遣天使，把他的選民，從四方，從地極直到天邊，都招聚了來。」
28Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its branches become tender and sprout leaves, you know that summer is near.
28「你們可以從無花果樹學個比方：當樹枝發嫩長葉的時候，你們就知道夏天近了。
29So also, when you see these things happening, know that He is near, right at the door.
29這樣，你們幾時看見這些事成就，也該知道人子近了，正在門口了。
30Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened.
30我實在告訴你們，這世代還沒有過去，這些事都要成就。
31Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.
31天地要廢去，我的話卻不能廢去。」
32No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
32「但那日子，那時辰，沒有人知道，連天上的使者也不知道，子也不知道，惟有父知道。
33Be on your guard and stay alert! For you do not know when the appointed time will come.
33你們要謹慎，警醒祈禱，因為你們不曉得那日期幾時來到。
34It is like a man going on a journey who left his house, put each servant in charge of his own task, and instructed the doorkeeper to keep watch.
34這事正如一個人離開本家，寄居外邦，把權柄交給僕人，分派各人當做的工，又吩咐看門的警醒。
35Therefore keep watch, because you do not know when the master of the house will return—whether in the evening, at midnight, when the rooster crows, or in the morning.
35所以，你們要警醒；因為你們不知道家主甚麼時候來，或晚上，或半夜，或雞叫，或早晨；
36Otherwise, he may arrive without notice and find you sleeping.
36恐怕他忽然來到，看見你們睡着了。
37And what I say to you, I say to everyone: Keep watch!”
37我對你們所說的話，也是對眾人說：要警醒！」
