1We must pay closer attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.
1Pa inge sripa se sis kut in sruokya na ku ma pwaye su kut lohng tari kac, tuh kut fah tia tuhlac.
2For if the message spoken by angels was binding, and every transgression and disobedience received its just punishment,
2Kas su tuh itukyang nu sin mwet matu lasr sin lipufan uh kas na pwaye, ac kutena mwet su tia fahsr kac ku tia akos uh, ac fah eis kaiyuk ma fal nu sel.
3how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? This salvation was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,
3Na kut ac kaing fuka kut fin tia lohang nu ke molela na yohk se inge? Leum El tuh sifacna fahkak meet ke inkanek in molela se inge, ac elos su tuh lohng kac elos akpwayei nu sesr lah ma inge pwaye.
4and was affirmed by God through signs, wonders, various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to His will.
4In pacl sac pacna, God El sang mwe akpwaye lal sifacna in weang ma loh lalos, ke El tuh oru kain in mwenmen ac ma usrnguk puspis, ac ke El kitalik mwe kite ke Ngun Mutal, fal nu ke lungse lal.
5For it is not to angels that He has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking.
6But somewhere it is testified in these words: “What is man that You are mindful of him, or the son of man that You care for him?
6A oasr verse in Ma Simusla fahk mu: “O God, mea mwet, tuh kom in nunku kacl; Ac mea se mwet uh, tuh kom in saokkin?
7You made him a little lower than the angels; You crowned him with glory and honor
7Kom tuh oru elos in pusisel liki lipufan uh ke kitin pacl; Kom sonelosi ke wolana ac sunak,
8and placed everything under his feet.” When God subjected all things to him, He left nothing outside of his control. Yet at present we do not see everything subject to him.
8Ac oru tuh elos in leumi ma nukewa.” Oasr fahkya mu God El tuh oru mwet uh in “leumi ma nukewa”; ac kalmac pa wangin ma tia wi. Tusruktu kut tiana akilen mu mwet uh leumi ma nukewa in pacl inge.
9But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because He suffered death, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.
9A kut liye Jesus, su tuh orekla in pusisel liki lipufan uh ke kitin pacl, tuh ke lungkulang lun God, elan misa ke mwet nukewa.
10In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting for God, for whom and through whom all things exist, to make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering.
10Nuna fal tuh God, su orala ac karingin ma nukewa, Elan oru tuh Jesus el fah arulana fulat ke sripen keok lal, in tuh pwanma wen puspis in ipeis ke wolana lal.
11For both the One who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers.
11El aknasnasyela mwet uh liki ma koluk lalos, ouinge Jesus, ac elos nukewa su aknasnasyeyukla, elos ma nutin Papa sefanna. Ke sripa se inge, Jesus El tia mwekin in pangnolos mwet wial.
12He says: “I will proclaim Your name to My brothers; I will sing Your praises in the assembly.”
12El fahk nu sin God, “Nga ac fahk nu sin mwet wiuk ke ma kom orala; Nga fah kaksakin kom in pacl in tukeni lalos.”
13And again: “I will put My trust in Him.” And once again: “Here am I, and the children God has given Me.”
13El oayapa fahk, “Nga fah filiya lulalfongi luk in God.” Ac El oayapa fahk, “Nga pa inge, yurin tulik su God El ase nu sik.”
14Now since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity, so that by His death He might destroy him who holds the power of death, that is, the devil,
15and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.
15ac in ouiya se inge el aksukosokyelosla su mwet kohs in moul lalos nufon ke sripen elos sangeng ke misa.
16For surely it is not the angels He helps, but the descendants of Abraham.
A “El kasru filin tulik natul Abraham,” oana simla in Ma Simusla.
17For this reason He had to be made like His brothers in every way, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, in order to make atonement for the sins of the people.
17Kalmen ma inge pa el enenu in ekla in oana tulik wial uh in ouiya nukewa, tuh elan ku in Mwet Tol Fulat oaru ac pakoten lalos ke kulansap lal nu sin God, tuh mwet uh in ku in eis nunak munas ke ma koluk lalos.
18Because He Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted.
