1but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
1ယေရှု သည်လည်း သံလွင် တောင် သို့ ကြွ တော်မူ၏။
2Now very early in the morning, he came again into the temple, and all the people came to him. He sat down and taught them.
2နံနက် စောစောဗိမာန် တော်သို့ တစ်ဖန် ကြွ တော်မူ၍ လူ အပေါင်း တို့သည် အထံ တော်သို့ လာ ကြ၏။ ထိုအခါ ထိုင် တော်မူ၍ ဆုံးမ ဩဝါဒပေးစဉ်တွင်၊
3The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman taken in adultery. Having set her in the middle,
3မှားယွင်း ခြင်းအမှုကို ပြုလျက်နေသောမိန်းမ တစ်ယောက်ကိုတွေ့ လျှင်၊ ကျမ်းပြု ဆရာတို့နှင့် ဖာရိရှဲ တို့ သည်ခေါ် ခဲ့၍ အလယ် ၌ ထား ပြီးမှ၊
4they told him, “Teacher, we found this woman in adultery, in the very act.
4အရှင် ဘုရား၊ ဤ မိန်းမ သည်မှားယွင်း ခြင်းအမှုကို ပြု စဉ်တွင်ပင် တွေ့မိ ပါသည်။
5Now in our law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. What then do you say about her?”
5ထိုသို့သော မိန်းမကို ကျောက်ခဲ နှင့်ပစ်ရမည်ဟု မောရှေ သည်အကျွန်ုပ် တို့အား ပညတ် တရား၌ စီရင် ထုံးဖွဲ့ပါပြီ။ သို့ရာတွင် ကိုယ်တော် သည် အဘယ်သို့ မိန့် တော်မူမည်နည်းဟု လျှောက် ကြ၏။
6They said this testing him, that they might have something to accuse him of. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with his finger.
6ထိုသို့ လျှောက်ကြသော်၊ ကိုယ်တော် ၌ အပြစ်တင် ခွင့်ရ စေခြင်းငှာ ၊ စုံစမ်း နှောင့်ရှက်သောအားဖြင့်လျှောက် ကြ၏။ ယေရှု သည် အောက် သို့ငုံ့ လျက် လက်ညှိုး တော်နှင့် မြေ ၌ ရေးသား ၍နေတော်မူ၏။
7But when they continued asking him, he looked up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw the first stone at her.”
7ထိုသူတို့သည် အထပ်ထပ်မေးလျှောက် ကြသောအခါ ကိုယ်ကိုလှန် တော်မူ၍ ၊ သင် တို့တွင် အပြစ် ကင်းသောသူ သည် ရှေးဦးစွာ ကျောက်ခဲ နှင့်ပစ် စေ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူပြီးမှ၊
8Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground with his finger.
8တစ်ဖန် အောက်သို့ငုံ့ ၍ မြေ ၌ ရေးသား တော်မူပြန်၏၊
9They, when they heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning from the oldest, even to the last. Jesus was left alone with the woman where she was, in the middle.
9ထိုသူ တို့သည်ကြား ရလျှင် မိမိတို့စိတ်နှလုံးသည် မိမိတို့အပြစ်ကို ဖော်ပြသဖြင့်၊ အသက်ကြီး သောသူ မှစ၍ အငယ်ဆုံးသောသူတိုင်အောင်တစ် ယောက်နောက် တစ် ယောက်ထွက်သွား ကြ၏။ ယေရှုသည် တစ်ယောက်တည်း ကျန်ရစ် တော်မူ၍ ၊ မိန်းမ သည်အလယ် ၌ ရပ်နေ ၏။
10Jesus, standing up, saw her and said, “Woman, where are your accusers? Did no one condemn you?”
10ထိုအခါယေရှု သည် ကိုယ်ကိုလှန် တော်မူပြန်၍ ၊ ထိုမိန်းမမှတစ်ပါးအဘယ်သူကိုမျှ မမြင်လျှင်၊ အချင်း မိန်းမ ၊ သင့် ကို အပြစ်တင်သောသူတို့သည် အဘယ်မှာ ရှိ ကြသနည်း။ သင်၏အမှုကိုအဘယ်သူ မျှမစီရင် လော ဟုမေး တော်မူ၏။
11She said, “No one, Lord.” Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go your way. From now on, sin no more.”
11ထိုမိန်းမ ကလည်း အဘယ်သူ မျှမစီရင်ပါသခင် ဟု လျှောက် ၏။ ငါ သည်လည်းသင် ၏အမှုကို မ စီရင် ။ သွား လော့။ နောက်တစ်ဖန်ဒုစရိုက် ကို မ ပြုနှင့် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
12Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”
12တဖန်တုံ ယေရှု က၊ ငါ သည် ဤလောက ၏အလင်း ဖြစ် ၏။ ငါ့ နောက်သို့ လိုက် သောသူ သည်မှောင်မိုက် ၌ မ သွား မလာ။ အသက် ၏အလင်း ကိုရ လိမ့်မည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
13The Pharisees therefore said to him, “You testify about yourself. Your testimony is not valid.”
13ဖာရိရှဲ တို့ကလည်း၊ သင် သည် ကိုယ် အကြောင်း ကို သက်သေခံ ၏၊ သင် ၏သက်သေ မ တည် ဟု ဆို ကြ၏။
14Jesus answered them, “Even if I testify about myself, my testimony is true, for I know where I came from, and where I am going; but you don’t know where I came from, or where I am going.
14ယေရှု ကလည်း ၊ ငါ သည် ကိုယ် အကြောင်း ကို သက်သေခံ သော်လည်း ၊ ငါ့ သက်သေ တည် ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ငါသည်အဘယ် အရပ်က လာ သည်ကို၎င်း ၊ အဘယ် အရပ်သို့သွား သည်ကို၎င်း ငါသိ ၏။ သင် တို့မူကား မ သိ ကြ။
15You judge according to the flesh. I judge no one.
15သင် တို့သည် ဇာတိ ပကတိအတိုင်း စီရင် တတ်ကြ၏။ ငါ့ မူကား အဘယ်သူ ကိုမျှမ စီရင် ။
16Even if I do judge, my judgment is true, for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent me.
16ငါ သည်စီရင် သော်လည်း ငါ ၏စီရင် ခြင်းသည် တည် ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ငါသည် တစ်ယောက်တည်း နေ သည်မ ဟုတ်။ ငါ့ ကိုစေလွှတ် တော်မူသောခမည်းတော် သည် ငါ့ ဘက်၌နေတော်မူ၏။
17It’s also written in your law that the testimony of two people is valid.
17သက်သေခံ နှစ် ဦးတို့၏စကားသည် တည် ရ၏ဟု သင် တို့ပညတ္တိ ကျမ်းစာ၌ လာ ၏။
18I am one who testifies about myself, and the Father who sent me testifies about me.”
18ငါ သည် ကိုယ် အကြောင်း ကို သက်သေခံ သောသူ ဖြစ် ၏။ ငါ့ ကို စေလွှတ် တော်မူသောခမည်းတော် သည်လည်း ငါ့ အကြောင်း ကို သက်သေခံ တော်မူသည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
19They said therefore to him, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither me nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also.”
19ထိုသူတို့ကလည်း၊ သင် ၏ခမည်းတော် သည် အဘယ်မှာ ရှိ သနည်းဟု မေး ကြ၏။ ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ သင်တို့သည် ငါ့ ကိုမ သိကြ ။ ငါ့ ခမည်းတော် ကိုလည်း မ သိကြ။ ငါ့ ကိုသိ လျှင် ငါ့ ခမည်းတော် ကိုလည်း သိ ကြလိမ့်မည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
20Jesus spoke these words in the treasury, as he taught in the temple. Yet no one arrested him, because his hour had not yet come.
20ဗိမာန် တော်၌ ဆုံးမ ဩဝါဒပေးတော်မူစဉ် ဤ စကား တော်ကို ဘဏ္ဍာတိုက် မှာ မိန့်မြွတ် တော်မူ၏။ ကိုယ်တော် ၏အချိန် မ စေ့ မရောက်သေးသောကြောင့် အဘယ်သူ ကိုမျှကိုယ်တော် ကိုမဖမ်းဆီး ကြ။
21Jesus said therefore again to them, “I am going away, and you will seek me, and you will die in your sins. Where I go, you can’t come.”
21တစ်ဖန် ယေရှုက၊ ငါ သည်သွား ရမည်။ သင်တို့သည်ငါ့ ကိုရှာ ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ကိုယ် အပြစ် ၌ လည်း သေ ကြ လိမ့်မည်။ ငါ သွား ရာအရပ် သို့ သင် တို့မ ရောက် နိုင် ကြ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
22The Jews therefore said, “Will he kill himself, because he says, ‘Where I am going, you can’t come’ ?”
22ယုဒ လူတို့ကလည်း ၊ ငါ သွား ရာအရပ် သို့သင် တို့ မ ရောက် နိုင် ကြဟုသူသည်ဆို သော်၊ ကိုယ် အသက်ကို သတ် မည်လောဟု ဆို ကြ၏။
23He said to them, “You are from beneath. I am from above. You are of this world. I am not of this world.
23ယေရှုကလည်း၊ သင် တို့သည် အောက် သားဖြစ် ကြ၏။ ငါ မူကား အထက် သားဖြစ် ကြ၏။ သင် တို့သည် လောကီသား ဖြစ် ကြ၏။ ငါ မူကား လောကီသား မ ဟုတ် ။
24I said therefore to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins.”
24ထိုကြောင့် သင် တို့သည် ကိုယ် အပြစ် ၌ သေ ကြလိမ့်မည်ဟုငါဆို ၏။ ငါ သည်ဤမည်သောသူဖြစ် သည်ကို သင် တို့သည်မ ယုံလျှင် ၊ ကိုယ် အပြစ် ၌ သေ ကြလိမ့်မည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
25They said therefore to him, “Who are you?” Jesus said to them, “Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning.
25ထိုသူတို့ကလည်း။ သင် သည်အဘယ်သူ နည်းဟုမေး လျှင် ၊ ယေရှု က၊ ငါသည်သင် တို့အား အစဉ်ပြောဆို သည်အတိုင်း ငါဖြစ်၏။
26I have many things to speak and to judge concerning you. However, he who sent me is true; and the things which I heard from him, these I say to the world.”
26သင် တို့အမှု ၌ ငါပြောဆို စီရင် စရာများစွာ ရှိ၏ ။ သို့သော်လည်း ငါ့ ကိုစေလွှတ် သောသူ သည်သစ္စာ နှင့် ပြည့်စုံ တော်မူ၏။ သူ ၏အထံ တော်၌ ငါ ကြား သမျှကိုသာ ဤလောက ၌ ငါဟောပြော သည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
27They didn’t understand that he spoke to them about the Father.
27ခမည်းတော် ကိုရည်မှတ်၍ မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကို ထိုသူတို့သည် မ ရိပ်မိ ကြ။
28Jesus therefore said to them, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and I do nothing of myself, but as my Father taught me, I say these things.
28ထိုကြောင့် ယေရှု က၊ သင်တို့သည် လူ သား ကိုမြှောက် ထားသောအခါ ၊ ငါ သည်ဤမည်သောသူဖြစ် သည် ကို၎င်း ၊ ငါသည် ကိုယ် အလိုအလျောက် အဘယ် အမှုကိုမျှမပြု ဘဲ၊ ငါ့ခမည်းတော် သည် ငါ အား နည်းပေး တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ငါဟောပြော သည်ကို၎င်း သင်တို့သည် သိ ကြလိမ့်မည်။
29He who sent me is with me. The Father hasn’t left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him.”
29ငါ့ ကိုစေလွှတ် တော်မူသောသူ သည် ငါ နှင့်အတူ ရှိ တော်မူ၏။ ငါ့ ကို တစ်ကိုယ် တည်းနေစေခြင်းငှာခမည်းတော်သည် စွန့်ပစ်တော် မ မူ။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ နှစ်သက် တော်မူသောအမှု ကို အစဉ်မပြတ် ငါ ပြု သည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
30As he spoke these things, many believed in him.
30ထို စကားတော်ကို မိန့် တော်မူစဉ်၊ လူ များတို့သည် ယုံကြည် ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြ၏။
31Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, “If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples.
31ထိုအခါ ယေရှု က၊ သင်တို့သည် ငါ ၏ဒေသနာ ၌ တည် လျှင် ငါ့ တပည့် အမှန် ဖြစ် ကြ၏။
32You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
32သမ္မာတရား ကိုလည်း သိ ကြသဖြင့် ၊ ထိုတရား သည် သင် တို့ကို လွှတ် လိမ့်မည် ဟု၊ ယုံကြည် သော ယုဒ လူတို့အား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
33They answered him, “We are Abraham’s offspring, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How do you say, ‘You will be made free’ ?”
33ယုဒလူတို့ကလည်း၊ ငါတို့သည် အာဗြဟံ အမျိုး ဖြစ် ကြ၏။ အဘယ်သူ ထံ၌တရံတခါမျှ ကျွန် မ ခံကြ။ လွှတ် လိမ့်မည် ဟု၍ သင် သည်အဘယ်သို့ ပြောဆို သနည်းဟု မေးမြန်း ကြ၏။ ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ ငါအမှန်အကန် ဆို သည်ကား၊
34Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, everyone who commits sin is the bondservant of sin.
34ဒုစရိုက် ကို ပြု သမျှ သောသူတို့သည် ဒုစရိုက် ကျွန် ဖြစ် ၏။
35A bondservant doesn’t live in the house forever. A son remains forever.
35ကျွန် သည်ကား အိမ် ၌ အစဉ်အမြဲ နေ သည်မ ဟုတ်။ သား မူကား အစဉ်အမြဲ နေ ၏။
36If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.
36ထိုကြောင့် သား သည် သင် တို့ကိုလွှတ် လျှင် ၊ သင်တို့သည် ဧကန်အမှန် လွတ် ကြလိမ့်မည် ။
37I know that you are Abraham’s offspring, yet you seek to kill me, because my word finds no place in you.
37သင် တို့သည် အာဗြဟံ အမျိုး ဖြစ်ကြသည်ကို ငါသိ ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း ငါ ၏ဒေသနာ သည် သင်တို့၌ တည် နေရာကိုမ ရသောကြောင့် သင်တို့သည် ငါ့ ကို သတ် အံ့သောငှာရှာကြံ ကြ၏။
38I say the things which I have seen with my Father; and you also do the things which you have seen with your father.”
38ငါသည်ငါ့ ခမည်းတော် ထံ၌ မြင် ခဲ့ပြီးသည့်အတိုင်း ဟောပြော ၏။ သင်တို့သည် သင် တို့၏အဘ ထံ၌ မြင် ခဲ့ပြီးသည်အတိုင်း ပြု ကြ၏ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
39They answered him, “Our father is Abraham.” Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do the works of Abraham.
39ထိုသူ တို့ကလည်း ၊ အာဗြဟံ သည် ငါ တို့အဘ ဖြစ် ၏ ဟု ဆို ကြ ၏။ ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ သင်တို့သည် အာဗြဟံ ၏သား မှန် လျှင် အာဗြဟံ ၏အကျင့် ကို ကျင့် ကြလိမ့်မည်။
40But now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham didn’t do this.
40ဘုရားသခင် အထံ တော်၌ ကြား ရသောသစ္စာ တရားကို သင် တို့အား ဟောပြော သောသူ တည်းဟူသောငါ့ ကိုသတ် အံ့သောငှာသင်တို့သည် ယခု ရှာကြံ ကြ၏။ အာဗြဟံ သည် ထိုနည်းတူကျင့် သည်မ ဟုတ်။
41You do the works of your father.” They said to him, “We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father, God.”
41သင်တို့သည် သင် တို့အဘ ၏အကျင့် ကို ကျင့် ကြ၏ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။ ထိုသူတို့ကလည်း၊ ငါ တို့သည် မျောက်မထား သောအမျိုး မ ဟုတ်။ ဘုရားသခင် တည်းဟူသောငါတို့အဘ တစ်ပါးတည်း ရှိ တော်မူသည်ဟု ဆို ကြ၏။
42Therefore Jesus said to them, “If God were your father, you would love me, for I came out and have come from God. For I haven’t come of myself, but he sent me.
42ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ ဘုရားသခင် သည် သင် တို့အဘ မှန် လျှင် ။ သင်တို့သည် ငါ့ ကိုချစ် ကြလိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ငါ သည် ဘုရားသခင့် အထံ တော်မှ ထွက်ကြွ ရောက်လာ ၏။ ကိုယ် အလိုအလျောက်လာ သည် မ ဟုတ်။ ဘုရားသခင် သည်ငါ့ ကိုစေလွှတ် တော်မူ၏။
43Why don’t you understand my speech? Because you can’t hear my word.
43အဘယ်ကြောင့် ငါ့ စကား ကို နား မ လည်ကြသနည်း။ ငါ ၏ ဒေသနာ ကိုနာ မ ခံမယူနိုင် သောကြောင့် သာ သင်တို့သည် ငါ့စကားကို နားမလည်ကြ။
44You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and the father of lies.
44သင်တို့သည် သင် တို့အဘ တည်းဟူသောမာရ်နတ် မှ ဆင်းသက်ကြ၏။ သင် တို့အဘ ၏ အလို သို့လည်း လိုက် တတ်ကြ၏။ မာရ်နတ် သည် ရှေးဦးစွာ မှ ၍ လူ အသက်ကိုသတ်သောသူဖြစ် ၏။ သူ၌ သစ္စာ တရား မ ရှိ သောကြောင့် သစ္စာ တရား၌ မ တည် မနေ။ သူသည် မုသား စကားကိုပြော သောအခါ မိမိ ပကတိအတိုင်းပြော ၏။ မုသား စကား၌ ကျင်လည်သောသူဖြစ်၏။ မုသား ၏အဘ လည်း ဖြစ် ၏။
45But because I tell the truth, you don’t believe me.
45ငါ သည်သစ္စာ စကားကို ပြော သောကြောင့် သင်တို့မ ယုံ ကြ။
46Which of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me?
46ငါ ၌ အပြစ် ရှိကြောင်း ကို သင် တို့တွင် အဘယ်သူ ဖော်ပြ သနည်း။ သစ္စာ စကားကိုငါပြော သည်မှန်လျှင် အဘယ်ကြောင့် သင် တို့ မ ယုံ ကြသနည်း။
47He who is of God hears the words of God. For this cause you don’t hear, because you are not of God.”
47ဘုရားသခင် နှင့်စပ်ဆိုင် သောသူ သည်ဘုရားသခင် ၏စကား တော်ကို နားထောင် တတ်၏။ သင် တို့ သည် ဘုရားသခင် နှင့်မ စပ်ဆိုင်သောကြောင့် နား မ ထောင်ကြ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
48Then the Jews answered him, “Don’t we say well that you are a Samaritan, and have a demon?”
48ယုဒ လူတို့ကလည်း ၊ သင် သည်ရှမာရိ လူဖြစ် ၏။ နတ်ဆိုး စွဲ သောသူလည်းဖြစ်၏ဟု ငါ တို့ပြော သော စကားသည် လျောက်ပတ် သည်မ ဟုတ်လောဟု ဆို ကြ၏။
49Jesus answered, “I don’t have a demon, but I honor my Father and you dishonor me.
49ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ ငါ သည်နတ်ဆိုး စွဲ သောသူမ ဟုတ်။ ငါ့ ခမည်းတော် ကိုချီးမြောက် ၏။ သင် တို့သည် ငါ့ ကို ရှုတ်ချ ကြ၏။
50But I don’t seek my own glory. There is one who seeks and judges.
50ငါ သည် ကိုယ် ဘုန်း အသရေကိုမ ရှာ ။ ငါ၏ ဘုန်း အသရေကိုရှာ၍ စီရင် တော်မူသောသူ ရှိ သေး၏။
51Most certainly, I tell you, if a person keeps my word, he will never see death.”
51ငါအမှန်အကန် ဆို သည်ကား၊ ငါ့ စကား ကို နားထောင် သောသူ သည်သေ ခြင်းနှင့် အစဉ်မပြတ် ကင်းလွတ် လိမ့်မည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
52Then the Jews said to him, “Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham died, as did the prophets; and you say, ‘If a man keeps my word, he will never taste of death.’
52ယုဒ လူတို့ကလည်း၊ သင်၌နတ်ဆိုး စွဲ သည်ကို ယခု ငါတို့သိ ကြ၏။ အာဗြဟံ မှစ၍ ပရောဖက် တို့သည် သေ လွန်ကြပြီ။ သင် မူကား ၊ ငါ့ စကား ကို နားထောင် သောသူ သည်သေ ခြင်းနှင့် အစဉ်မပြတ် ကင်းလွတ် လိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆို ပါသည်တကား။
53Are you greater than our father Abraham, who died? The prophets died. Who do you make yourself out to be?”
53ငါ တို့အဘ အာဗြဟံ ထက် သင် သည် သာ၍ကြီးမြတ် သလော။ သူ သည်သေ ပြီ။ ပရောဖက် တို့လည်း သေ ကြပြီ။ သင် သည်အဘယ်သို့ သောသူ၏ အရောင်ကိုဆောင် သနည်းဟုဆို ကြ၏။
54Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say that he is our God.
54ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ ငါ သည်ကိုယ် ဂုဏ် ကိုပြလျှင် ၊ ငါ့ ဂုဏ် သည် အချည်းနှီး ဖြစ် ၏။ ငါ့ ခမည်းတော် သည် ငါ့ ဂုဏ် ကို ထင်ရှားစေတော်မူ၏။ ထို ဘုရားသခင် သည် ငါ တို့၏ဘုရားဟူ၍သင် တို့ခေါ် တော်မူတတ်ကြ၏။
55You have not known him, but I know him. If I said, ‘I don’t know him,’ I would be like you, a liar. But I know him and keep his word.
55သို့သော်လည်း ထိုဘုရားသခင် ကို သင်တို့မ သိ ကြ။ ငါ မူကား သိ ၏။ ငါမ သိ ဟုငါဆို လျှင် သင် တို့ကဲ့သို့ မုသာ သုံးသောသူဖြစ် လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုဘုရားသခင် ကို ငါသိ ၏။ ဘုရားသခင် ၏ စကား တော်ကိုလည်း နားထောင် ၏။
56Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day. He saw it and was glad.”
56သင် တို့အဘ အာဗြဟံ သည် ငါ ကြွလာမည့်အချိန် ကာလကို မြော်မြင် ခြင်းငှာ အလွန်အလိုရှိ ၏။ မြင် ရသောအခါ ဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်းသို့ရောက်သည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
57The Jews therefore said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old! Have you seen Abraham?”
57ယုဒ လူတို့ကလည်း၊ သင်၏အသက်သည် အနှစ် ငါးဆယ် မျှမ ရှိ ဘဲလျက် သင်သည် အာဗြဟံ ကို မြင် လေပြီတကားဟု ဆို ကြ၏။
58Jesus said to them, “Most certainly, I tell you, before Abraham came into existence, I AM. ”
58ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ ငါအမှန်အကန် ဆို သည်ကား၊ အာဗြဟံ မ ဖြစ် မှီငါ ဖြစ် ၏ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
59Therefore they took up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple, having gone through the middle of them, and so passed by.
59ထိုအခါ ကိုယ်တော် ကို ခဲနှင့်ပစ် ခြင်းငှာ ကျောက်ခဲ တို့ကို ကောက်ယူ ကြ၏။ ယေရှု သည် တိမ်းရှောင် ၍ ထိုသူတို့အလယ်၌ရှောက်သွားပြီးလျှင်ဗိမာန် တော်မှ ထွက်ကြွ တော်မူ၏။
