Douay-Rheims Bible, American Edition (1899)
1MURIN pon wonu pon Iejuj ap kotin ukadar Petruj, o Iakopuj, o ri a Ioanej kalua ir dalan pon nana ileila eu kalapuk.
1And after six days Jesus taketh unto him Peter and James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart:
2I ari kotin linanla mo ’rail jilan i linalin dueta katipin, o japwilim a likau o puetpuet eta marain eu.
2And he was transfigured before them. And his face did shine as the sun: and his garments became white as snow.
3A kilan, Mojej o Eliaj pwaradon ir, kajokajoi on i.
3And behold there appeared to them Moses and Elias talking with him.
4Petruj ap japen potoan on Iejuj: Main, meid mau ataill kotikot met. Ma re kotin mauki, je pan kauada kijin im jili kij: Tanpaj ar, o eu japwilim en Mojej, o eu japwilim en Eliaj.
4And Peter answering, said to Jesus: Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
5Ni a kajokajoidar, kilan, pali en dapok pali ap kadupal irail edi; o kilan, nil eu peidido jan nan dapok o, me majani: let nai ol kompok, me I kin polaule kida! Komail ron i!
5And as he was yet speaking, behold a bright cloud overshadowed them. And lo, a voice out of the cloud, saying: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased: hear ye him.
6Tounpadak kan lao ronadar met, rap pupedier pon maj arail, majapwekadar kaualap.
6And the disciples hearing, fell upon their face, and were very much afraid.
7Iejuj ap kotido, jair ir, majani: Uda, der majak!
7And Jesus came and touched them: and said to them, Arise, and fear not.
8Irail lao jaradar, jota amen, me re kilaner, pwe Iejuj eta.
8And they lifting up their eyes saw no one but only Jesus.
9Ari, ni arail kotikot kodido jan ni nana o, Iejuj ap kotin majani on irail majani: Komail depa indai on meamen duen kajanjal o, Nain aramaj lao mauredar jan ren me melar akan.
9And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying: Tell the vision to no man, till the Son of man be risen from the dead.
10Japwilim a tounpadak kan kalelapok re a indada: Da me sounkawewe kan kin indinda, dene Eliaj pan kotido maj?
10And his disciples asked him, saying: Why then do the scribes say that Elias must come first?
11A kotin japen majani on irail: Nan melel, Eliaj pan Pwarado maj kapunala karoj.
11But he answering, said to them: Elias indeed shall come, and restore all things.

12But I say to you, that Elias is already come, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they had a mind. So also the Son of man shall suffer from them.
13Tounpadak kan ap ajadar, me a kotin majani on irail duen Ioanij Jaunpaptaij o.
13Then the disciples understood, that he had spoken to them of John the Baptist.
14Irail lao lel don pokon o, aramaj amen poto don I kelepuki mo a jakaradar:
14And when he was come to the multitude, there came to him a man falling down on his knees before him, saying: Lord, have pity on my son, for he is a lunatic, and suffereth much: for he falleth often into the fire, and often into the water.
15Main kupura nai ol o, pwe a pweipwei o madak kaualap, pwe pan pak toto a kin pupedi nan iai o nan pil,

17Iejuj ap kotin japen majani: Di wet me id jopojon o katiwo. la arain ai pan mi re omail? Ia arain ai pan kokoa komail? Wa don ia!
17And Jesus rebuked him, and the devil went out of him, and the child was cured from that hour.
18Iejuj ap kotin kidaua i, tewil ari kodi jan lole; putak o ap kelailadar ni auer ota.
18Then came the disciples to Jesus secretly, and said: Why could not we cast him out?
19A tounpadak kan ap kelep poto don Iejuj potoan on: Da me kit jo kak kaujeki wei jan i?
19Jesus said to them: Because of your unbelief. For, amen I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, Remove from hence hither, and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you.

22And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall rise again. And they were troubled exceedingly.

26But that we may not scandalize them, go to the sea, and cast in a hook: and that fish which shall first come up, take: and when thou hast opened its mouth, thou shalt find a stater: take that, and give it to them for me and thee.
