1Εἰς τὸ τέλος, ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυίδ.
1(20-1) For the Leader. A Psalm of David. (20-2) The LORD answer thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob set thee up on high;
2Κύριε, ἐν τῇ δυνάμει σου εὐφρανθήσεται ὁ βασιλεὺς, καὶ ἐπὶ τῷ σωτηρίῳ σου ἀγαλλιάσεται σφόδρα.
2(20-3) Send forth thy help from the sanctuary, and support thee out of Zion;
3Τὴν ἐπιθυμίαν τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτοῦ ἔδωκας αὐτῷ, καὶ τὴν δέησιν τῶν χειλέων αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἐστέρησας αὐτόν· διάψαλμα.
3(20-4) Receive the memorial of all thy meal-offerings, and accept the fat of thy burnt-sacrifice; Selah
4Ὅτι προέφθασας αὐτὸν ἐν εὐλογίαις χρηστότητος, ἔθηκας ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ στέφανον ἐκ λίθου τιμίου.
4(20-5) Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5Ζωὴν ᾐτήσατό σε, καὶ ἔδωκας αὐτῷ μακρότητα ἡμερῶν εἰς αἰῶνα αἰῶνος.
5(20-6) We will shout for joy in thy victory, and in the name of our God we will set up our standards; the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.
6Μεγάλη ἡ δόξα αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ σωτηρίῳ σου, δόξαν καὶ μεγαλοπρέπειαν ἐπιθήσεις ἐπʼ αὐτόν.
6(20-7) Now know I that the LORD saveth His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the mighty acts of His saving right hand.
7Ὅτι δώσεις αὐτῷ εὐλογίαν εἰς αἰῶνα αἰῶνος, εὐφρανεῖς αὐτὸν ἐν χαρᾷ μετὰ τοῦ προσώπου σου.
7(20-8) Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will make mention of the name of the LORD our God.
8Ὅτι ὁ βασιλεὺς ἐλπίζει ἐπὶ Κύριον, καὶ ἐν τῷ ἐλέει τοῦ ὑψίστου οὐ μὴ σαλευθῇ.
8(20-9) They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen, and stand upright.
9Εὑρεθείη ἡ χείρ σου πᾶσι τοῖς ἐχθροῖς σου, ἡ δεξιά σου εὕροι πάντας τοὺς μισοῦντάς σε.
9(20-10) Save, LORD; let the King answer us in the day that we call.
10Θήσεις αὐτοὺς ὡς κλίβανον πυρὸς εἰς καιρὸν τοῦ προσώπου σου, Κύριος ἐν ὀργῇ αὐτοῦ συνταράξει αὐτοὺς, καὶ καταφάγεται αὐτοὺς πῦρ.

11Τὸν καρπὸν αὐτῶν ἀπὸ γῆς ἀπολεῖς, καὶ τὸ σπέρμα αὐτῶν ἀπὸ υἱῶν ἀνθρώπων.

12Ὅτι ἔκλιναν εἰς σὲ κακὰ, διελογίσαντο βουλὴν, ἣν οὐ μὴ δύνωνται στῆσαι.

13Ὅτι θήσεις αὐτοὺς νῶτον ἐν τοῖς περιλοίποις σου, ἑτοιμάσεις τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτῶν.

14Ὑψώθητι Κύριε ἐν τῇ δυνάμει σου· ᾄσομεν καὶ ψαλοῦμεν τὰς δυναστείας σου.
