Bible Mutal (Kosraean)
1What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?
1Na mea kut ac srumun inge kacl Abraham, papa matu tumun mwet Jew uh? Mea tuh sikyak nu sel?
2For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
2God El fin aksuwoswosyal ke sripen orekma lal, na oasr ma el ku in konkin kac — tusruktu tia ye mutun God.
3For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
3Ma Simusla uh fahk, “Abraham el filiya lulalfongi lal in God ac ke sripen lulalfongi lal, God El oakulla sie mwet suwoswos.”
4Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
5A mwet se su lulalfongi in God, ac tia filiya lulalfongi lal ke orekma wo lal sifacna, pa inge mwet se su God El ku in nunak munas nu sel ke ma koluk lal, ac ke sripen lulalfongi lal, God El oakulla sie mwet suwohs.
6Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
7Saying , Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
7“Insewowo elos su ma koluk lalos nunak munas nu selos, Su orekma koluk lalos tuleyukla!
8Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
8Insewowo el su Leum El tia oakla ma koluk lal!”
9Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only , or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.
Tuh oana ma nga fahk tari, Ma Simusla uh fahk mu, “Abraham el filiya lulalfongi lal in God ac ke sripen lulalfongi lal, God El oakulla sie mwet suwoswos.”
10How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.
10Ma se inge sikyak ngac? Meet liki Abraham el kosrala ku tukun el kosrala? Ma meet, tia ma toko.
11And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:
11El tuh kosrkosrla tok, ac kosrala lal sie akul in akkalemye lah, ke sripen lulalfongi lal, God El oakal sie mwet suwoswos meet liki el kosrala. Ke ma inge Abraham el oana papa tumun mwet nukewa su lulalfongi in God, ac God El oakalos mwet suwoswos ye mutal, elos finne tia kosrla.
12And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.
13For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
13Ke God El wulela nu sel Abraham ac fwilin tulik natul mu faclu ac fah ma lal, El oru ouinge, tia mweyen Abraham el akos Ma Sap, a mweyen el lulalfongi ac el oaoala sie mwet suwoswos ye mutun God.
14For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:
14Tuh fin ma God El wuleang kac ac itukyang na nu selos su akos Ma Sap, na ac wangin kalmen lulalfongi lun mwet uh, ac wuleang lun God wangin sripa.
15Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
15Seakos lun mwet nu ke Ma Sap lun God pwanang kasrkusrak lal, tusruktu yen ma wangin ma sap we, wangin pac seakos ma sap.
16Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
16Ke ma inge, wuleang se inge oakwuki fin lulalfongi, tuh in arulana kalem lah wuleang se inge oanu sie mwe kite lun God su wangin molo, nu sin fwilin tulik natul Abraham nukewa — tia nu selos mukena su akos Ma Sap, a oayapa nu selos su lulalfongi oana Abraham. Tuh Abraham el papa tumasr nukewa in ngun;
17(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
17oana Ma Simusla uh fahk, “Nga ac oru kom in papa tumun mutanfahl puspis.”
18Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
18Abraham el sruokya lulalfongi ac finsrak lal, finne pacl ma upa na in oasr finsrak. Pa oru el “papa tumun mutanfahl puspis.” In oana ke Ma Simusla uh fahk, “Fwilin tulik nutum ac fah pus oana itu uh.”
19And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:
19In pacl sac Abraham el apkuran in sun yac siofok, ac lulalfongi lal tiana munasla, el finne nunku ke manol lah apkuran in misa, ku kacl Sarah lah el kofla orek tulik.
20He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
20Lulalfongi lal tiana wanginla, ac el tiana alolo ke wulela lun God nu sel. Lulalfongi lal akkeyal, ac el kaksakin God.
21And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
21El etu na pwaye lah God El ku in oru ma El wulela kac.
22And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
22Pa oru, ke sripen lulalfongi lal Abraham, “God El oakulla sie mwet suwoswos.”
23Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
23Kas inge “God El oakulla sie mwet suwoswos” tia simla kacl Abraham mukena.
24But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
24Simla pac kacsr, su ac fah oaoala mwet suwoswos ke sripen kut lulalfongi in God su akmoulyalak Jesus Leum lasr liki misa.
25Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
25God El eisalang Jesus nu ke misa ke sripen ma koluk lasr, ac El akmoulyalak tuh Elan aksuwosye kut ye mutal sifacna.
