1Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
1Kamtang tahmenhaih tawn kami loe tahamhoih: raihaih tongh naah Angraeng mah anih to pahlong tih.
2The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
2Angraeng mah anih to toep tih, anih to hingsak pongah, long nuiah tahamhoihaih hnu tih: Angraeng mah anih to a misanawk khaeah paek mak ai.
3The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
3Ngannat naah Angraeng mah om thui tih: ngannat thung Angraeng mah anih ih iihkhunnawk boih to toep pae tih.
4I said, LORD , be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
4Kai mah, Aw Angraeng, na tahmen raeh: na nuiah zaehaih ka sak boeh pongah, ka hinghaih ngantuisak ah, tiah ka naa.
5Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?
5Ka misanawk mah, Anih loe natuek naa ah maw dueh ueloe, ahmin to anghmaa tih? tiah kasae ang thuih o.
6And if he come to see me , he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it .
6Kai hnuk hanah anih angzoh naah, amsoem ai lok to a thuih: anih ih palungthin loe sethaih khue talawk moe, tasa bang a caeh naah to kawng to a thuih.
7All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
7Kai hnuma kaminawk boih mah nawnto kai kasae ang thuih o: kai nganbawh kana paek hanah a poek o.
8An evil disease, say they , cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
8Anih loe nathaih kasae mah phak thuih boeh pongah, angsonghaih ahmuen hoiah angthawk let mak ai boeh, tiah ang naa o.
9Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
9Ue, ka oep koek ih, kai ih takaw kacaa, ampui kangzong mah doeh, kai hae khok hoiah ang pathuih boeh.
10But thou, O LORD , be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
10Toe Aw Angraeng, nihcae to ka sak pathok hanah, na tahmen raeh loe, na pathawk ah.
11By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
11Ka misanawk mah na pazawk o ai pongah, ka nuiah anghoehaih na tawnh, tito ka panoek.
12And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.
12Ka ciim pongah kai hae nang bomh, anih hmaa ah dungzan khoek to nang om thui tih.
13Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
13Israel Angraeng Sithaw khaeah, dungzan hoi dungzan khoek to tahamhoihaih om nasoe. Amen hoi Amen.
