1Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)
1Paŭlo, apostolo (ne de homoj, nek per homo, sed per Jesuo Kristo, kaj Dio, la Patro, kiu levis lin el la mortintoj),
2And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:
2kaj ĉiuj fratoj, kiuj estas kun mi, al la eklezioj de Galatujo:
3Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
3Graco al vi kaj paco de Dio, la Patro, kaj de nia Sinjoro Jesuo Kristo,
4Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
4kiu sin donis pro niaj pekoj, por liberigi nin el la nuna malbona mondo, laŭ la volo de nia Dio kaj Patro;
5To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
5al kiu estu la gloro por ĉiam kaj eterne. Amen.
6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
6Mi miras, ke tiel rapide vi foriĝas for de Tiu, kiu vokis vin en la gracon de Kristo, al malsama evangelio;
7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
7kiu ja ne estas alia, sed troviĝas iuj, kiuj vin maltrankviligas kaj deziras renversi la evangelion de Kristo.
8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
8Tamen se eĉ ni, aŭ anĝelo el la ĉielo, al vi instruus ian evangelion krom tiu, kiun ni jam al vi instruis, tiu estu anatemita.
9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
9Kiel ni antaŭe diris, tiel nun mi denove diras: Se iu al vi instruas ian evangelion krom tiu, kiun vi ricevis, tiu estu anatemita.
10For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
10Ĉar ĉu mi nun influas homojn, aŭ Dion? aŭ ĉu mi celas plaĉi al homoj? se mi ankoraŭ nun plaĉus al homoj, mi ne estus servisto de Kristo.
11But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
11Ĉar mi sciigas vin, fratoj, rilate al la evangelio predikita de mi, ke ĝi ne estas laŭ homo.
12For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it , but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
12Ĉar mi ne ricevis ĝin de homo, kaj ĝi ne estas instruita al mi krom per malkaŝo de Jesuo Kristo.
13For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
13Ĉar vi iam aŭdis pri mia estinta vivmaniero en Judismo, ke mi forte persekutis la eklezion de Dio kaj ĝin atakis;
14And profited in the Jews’ religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
14kaj mi plimulte progresis en Judismo, ol multaj miaj samaĝuloj en mia nacio, estante multe pli fervoranima pri la tradicioj de miaj prapatroj.
15But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace,
15Sed kiam bonvole plaĉis al Dio, kiu el la ventro de mia patrino apartigis min kaj per Sia graco min vokis,
16To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
16por malkaŝi en mi Sian Filon, por ke mi prediku lin inter la nacianoj: mi ne konsiliĝis kun karno kaj sango,
17Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.
17kaj mi ne supreniris al Jerusalem, al la antaŭ mi apostoloj, sed mi tuj foriris en Arabujon, kaj poste mi revenis al Damasko.
18Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
18Tiam, post tri jaroj, mi supreniris al Jerusalem, por viziti Kefason, kaj mi restis kun li dek kvin tagojn.
19But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord’s brother.
19Sed neniun alian el la apostoloj mi vidis, krom Jakobo, la frato de la Sinjoro.
20Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.
20Pri tio, kion mi skribas al vi, jen, antaŭ Dio, mi ne mensogas.
21Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;
21Poste mi venis en la regionojn de Sirio kaj Kilikio.
22And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:
22Kaj mi ankoraŭ estis vizaĝe nekonata de la eklezioj de Judujo, kiuj estis en Kristo;
23But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.
23sed ili nur aŭdis la jenon: Kiu nin iam persekutis, tiu nun predikas la fidon, kiun iam li atakis;
24And they glorified God in me.
24kaj ili gloris Dion en mi.
