Hosea 8

1Set the horn to thy mouth. As a vulture he cometh against the house of the LORD; because they have transgressed My covenant, and trespassed against My law.
1Трубу к устам твоим! Как орел налетит на дом Господень за то, что они нарушили завет Мой и преступили закон Мой!
2Will they cry unto Me: 'My God, we Israel know Thee'?
2Ко Мне будут взывать: Боже мой! мы познали Тебя, мы - Израиль.
3Israel hath cast off that which is good; the enemy shall pursue him.
3Отверг Израиль доброе; враг будет преследовать его.
4They have set up kings, but not from Me, they have made princes, and I knew it not; of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off.
4Поставляли царей сами, без Меня; ставили князей, но без Моего ведома; из серебра своего и золота своего сделали для себя идолов: оттуда гибель.
5Thy calf, O Samaria, is cast off; Mine anger is kindled against them; how long will it be ere they attain to innocency?
5Оставил тебя телец твой, Самария! воспылал гнев Мой на них; доколе не могут они очиститься?
6For from Israel is even this: the craftsman made it, and it is no God; yea, the calf of Samaria shall be broken in shivers.
6Ибо и он дело Израиля: художник сделал его, и потому он не бог; в куски обратится телец Самарийский!
7For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind; it hath no stalk, the bud that shall yield no meal; if so be it yield, strangers shall swallow it up.
7Так как они сеяли ветер, то и пожнут бурю: хлеба на корню не будет у него; зерно не даст муки; а если и даст, то чужие проглотят ее.
8Israel is swallowed up; now are they become among the nations as a vessel wherein is no value.
8Поглощен Израиль; теперь они будут среди народов как негодный сосуд.
9For they are gone up to Assyria, like a wild ass alone by himself; Ephraim hath hired lovers.
9Они пошли к Ассуру, как дикий осел, одиноко бродящий; Ефрем приобретал подарками расположение к себе.
10Yea, though they hire among the nations, now will I gather them up; and they begin to be minished by reason of the burden of king and princes.
10Хотя они и посылали дары к народам, но скоро Я соберу их, и они начнут страдать от бремени царя князей;
11For Ephraim hath multiplied altars to sin, yea, altars have been unto him to sin.
11ибо много жертвенников настроил Ефрем для греха, - ко греху послужили ему эти жертвенники.
12Though I write for him never so many things of My Law, they are accounted as a stranger's.
12Написал Я ему важные законы Мои, но они сочтены им как бы чужие.
13As for the sacrifices that are made by fire unto Me, let them sacrifice flesh and eat it, for the LORD accepteth them not. Now will He remember their iniquity, and punish their sins; they shall return to Egypt.
13В жертвоприношениях Мне они приносят мясо и едят его; Господу неугодны они; ныне Он вспомнит нечестие их и накажет их за грехи их: они возвратятся в Египет.
14For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and builded palaces, and Judah hath multiplied fortified cities; but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the castles thereof.
14Забыл Израиль Создателя своего и устроил капища, и Иуда настроил много укрепленных городов; но Я пошлю огонь на города его, и пожрет чертоги его.
