1And the LORD said unto me: 'Go yet, love a woman beloved of her friend and an adulteress, even as the LORD loveth the children of Israel, though they turn unto other gods, and love cakes of raisins.
1O SENHOR me disse: “Vá novamente, ame uma mulher amada por outro, e adúltera, assim como o SENHOR ama os filhos de Israel, embora eles se voltem para outros deuses e amem bolos de passas.”
2So I bought her to me for fifteen pieces of silver and a homer of barley, and a half-homer of barley;
2Então eu a comprei para mim por quinze peças de prata e um hômer e meio de cevada.
3and I said unto her: 'Thou shalt sit solitary for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be any man's wife; nor will I be thine.'
3Eu disse a ela: “Você ficará comigo por muitos dias. Você não se prostituirá, e não será de nenhum outro homem. Eu também serei assim para com você.”
4For the children of Israel shall sit solitary many days without king, and without prince, and without sacrifice, and without pillar, and without ephod or teraphim;
4Pois os filhos de Israel viverão muitos dias sem rei, sem príncipe, sem sacrifício, sem pedra sagrada, e sem éfode ou ídolos.
5afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall come trembling unto the LORD and to His goodness in the end of days.
5Depois disso, os filhos de Israel retornarão e buscarão o SENHOR, seu Deus, e a Davi, seu rei; e virão tremendo ao SENHOR e às suas bênçãos nos últimos dias.
